Newly opened in Frisco so it's a must try! I've been here several times now and more recently on a Friday night. It was packed! They used Toast to manage their tables (ahem Yelp reservations cough and it was about a 15 minute wait. They were really good about it and sent me a text along with a phone call shortly after to let me know the table was ready. Flavors were on point. Even my girlfriend who is quite picky and critical of authentic ingredients finds this place to be worthy of praise. The dishes that stand out are the crispy pork over rice, boat noodles, sukothai dry style noodles and chicken and rice. This is very similar to the street food you would find in Thailand and not have to fly 9,000+ miles in order to get it. Service was great with food coming out quickly and drink refills. It gets loud in here so dont expect to have a romantic conversation. You will hear tons of other conversations and the TV playing in the background of various cities in Thailand. read more

Would have preferred the pork belly in the Kana Moo Grob to have maintained its crispiness--it was a bit soggy, maybe because it was sautéed with the sauce? Also ordered their Pink Drink (i.e., strawberry milk) and Thai Iced Tea. Between the two, probably lean toward the latter. Service: Dropped by for lunch around noon on a Saturday to a packed house, so there was a bit of a wait (~10 min). Putting yourself on the waitlist is straightforward--you scan a QR code, put down your info, and when your table's ready, you'll get a text. After being seated, we put in our order, and our food came out of the kitchen relatively quickly. While we didn't have a designated waiter, everyone on the floor was friendly and attentive. Super popular new Thai place that has a wait for weekday dinner, but it's pretty short as service is fast. Tried my standard basil chicken which was a little on the sweet side but probably at a good level for most people. Lively energy here which makes it a fun place to bring friends. Look forward to coming here again and trying the pad kee mow spicy noodles. Love the location in an Asian retail center with lots of options for nearby dessert. I love Too Thai and had it for so many times at the Carrolton location, but this was my first time here at this new Frisco one. The inside was so spacious and way bigger than the Carrolton one. Their customer service is always top tier :) We got Pad Thai w/ Pork & Panang Curry w/ Chicken, both with level 4 spicy. The food came out pretty quick for a Sunday lunch. The Pad Thai was really burnt though, it looked so dark compared to other tables. I think they might had cooked a big batch of Pad Thai, then distribute them out by spice level, so by the time they reached level 4, the noodles were burnt and all chopped into small pieces. The burnt masked all the pad thai flavor so I couldn't taste anything and no spice at all. The curry was good though, not the best I've had but it was decent. This one was spicy!! We also got the Thai coffee and it was okay, it had a lot of condensed milk and wasn't strong enough, I prefer their Thai tea more. I still give them a high rating since I love the food from their Carrolton location, and it's always consistent there despite how packed they get. Got lunch at Too Thai with my coworkers. The atmosphere is amazing, really bright and lively. The service was very, very quick, our full table got their dishes within 8 minutes of placing our orders even though everyone ordered something different. I ordered the panang curry with chicken thigh at spicy level 3. I found the curry very flavorful and the heat level quite comfortable. It came with a mountain of rice and a respectable bowl of curry. My only criticism was that the chicken was in very large chunks that were difficult to fit in one bite. The prices were very reasonable for the amount of food. I will be returning! read more

Came during soft opening to checked out Too Thai's Frisco location. This place is popular, there was a 30-45 minute wait but we came during weekend lunch rush hour and they send you a text message when your table's ready. Love the decorations inside, it's a very beautiful restaurant full of decorations and culture. The staff was all super friendly and the food was delicious, portion sizes are generous also. Stopped by during their soft opening! They currently have a 15% off this weekend and they have a grand opening later in the month. If you are tired of the standard Thai fair, this is the place for you. They've got all the classics for Thai street food and so far have been impressed. We tried their ground chicken kra pow, Khao Moo Kratiem, pad kee mow, and a Penang curry. I'd highly recommend the kra pow the most as the depth in flavor was amazing. Their spice levels are also a bit more accurate compared to some of the more Americanized Thai places. I got a 4 and at other places this would be rated Thai hot . Outstanding and certainly lives up to the hype!!!. The restaurant itself is very cool looking and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The food itself is incredible and is far from the usual Americanized Thai menu you see all over town. For appetizers, we tried the Thai style papaya salad, the fried ribs and the grilled pork jowl. All excellent and highly recommend to wash down with a cold beer. For our entrees, we opted for 3 rice based platters - the poached chicken with ginger rice (an excellent rendition of the famous hainese chicken and rice made famous in Singapore), the pork hock rice in a five spice sauce was out of this world and melts in your mouth. Okay now I get the hype about this place! I've been interested in checking out since seeing the sign up months ago as I've heard a lot about the Carrollton location. I love that the menu has some familiar things but also lots of dishes that are harder to find in most Thai places so you know it's super authentic!! Anyway there was a bit of a wait so be prepared for that but it'll probably depend what time you visit. Every dish we got was good and my favorite from tonight was probably the Pad Kee Mow. I'd say the Tom Kha was good too it's a bit more on the tangy side but I love the vessel it comes in! The moo ping was also good with the sticky rice. My favorite thai place just got closer to me and I couldn't be happier. Every time I eat here I'm blown away by the food and the flavors. This time I got the beef penang curry (spice level 3) and the chicken khao man kai. The curry was the perfect level of spiciness and definitely my favorite of the 2. I thought at first it was a little mild, probably from the coconut milk, but the spice definitely builds the more you eat it. The khao man kai was very clean and the sauce to put on top really made the whole dish. Service is always great and the inside was so well decorated. I can't wait to come back. read more

I was in the area looking for a quick snack, so I stopped by Too Thai for a to-go papaya salad--and I'm so glad I did. The restaurant's interior is colorful, inviting, and beautifully designed. I was warmly greeted as soon as I walked in, and the service remained excellent throughout my visit. When I requested my salad extra Thai spicy, my server thoughtfully explained their 1-5 spice scale and mentioned that they could go beyond level 5 for those who wanted even more heat. Naturally, I took the challenge! While my order was being prepared, the staff kindly invited me to wait in the dining room, where I enjoyed watching World Cup soccer on a massive TV. It was a small gesture that made the experience even more welcoming. My order came out quickly and was packaged well for travel. Most importantly, the papaya salad was fresh, crisp, refreshing, and wonderfully spicy--exactly what I was craving. After an unsatisfying meal elsewhere earlier in the day, it was the perfect pick-me-up. I'll definitely be back soon, even if it means driving all the way from Rockwall. There were only several piece of chicken in pad thai and fried rice. Seafood pad cha is overpriced. I got 1 piece squid and fried fish was all mushed in seafood pad cha. Portions are way smaller. Getting sit in sucks here they have poor management. You have to fill out a document to be able to come here. That's absolutely ridiculous.

Wonderful Food and Service! This venue is a must visit as a very enjoyable eating experience. The food taste, presentation, temperature, etc. were all over-the-top! The ambiance is more than welcome...not the typical loud and overbearing background music and not a "hurried" staff trying to just keep up. Everything is very smooth and relaxed and we never had to wait for anything. One could argue that the star is the 4-cup peppers and relish tray which is amazing. A point of constructive criticism from me is any Asian-themed restaurant with in-dining should have soy sauce available in a bottle and not the small carry-out packages that must be torn open at the table... At the front of the dining room is a large screen that provides a running short video of Thai countrysides, towns, rivers, etc. with soft music in the background.
