So good!!!! A quick, made to order place with full service. The pad see ew was super flavorful. I do wish they had protein options that we could choose, but it seems to come with a chosen protein. Portions are average for the price. Their pandan soft serve was such a treat.

5 - Over the top, amazing service and friendly team. 5 - Cleanliness and ease of ordering and presentation. 3 - Actual Thai food I was immediately greeted by the kindest man who showed me the digital menu screen and how easy it is to order and customize my dish. I liked being able to see exactly what was going into my dish and being able to customize it. The cost is comparable to most dine in or take out thai places in the county ($15-ish for a noodle bowl). To give them a fair shot I ordered Chicken Pad See Ew - a dish I have probably had 100 times from dozens of different restaurants in dozens of different states and cities. I was surprised to see included were; cherry tomatoes and chopped iceberg lettuce, neither of which have EVER found their way into my Pad See Ew, so I removed them from my meal. I chose "Spicy" for my heat and added chicken. My friend and I took our seats and our meal was brought to us by a very kind gentleman who asked us if we needed anything else. The dish looked fresh and was piping hot. Before I dug in, I was surprised to see my friend's Pad Thai dish had neon yellow noodles, also something I've never seen at a Thai restaurant. My dish was cooked well but my first bite told me everything. The sauce was not a traditional Thai sauce, it tasted like soy sauce and bbq sauce, maybe some ponzu mixed in. It was runny like liquid, not thick like a sauce. The spice was not Thai spicy with spices or fish sauce, it was spicy like siracha or jalapeno. The kind that burns your tongue because it's hot, not spicy. The noodles were fine, but the flavor was lacking. And the chicken was really disappointing. It is NOT grilled chicken. It's a breaded chicken cube that I thought was tofu at first because it was almost gummy in texture. When I looked back at the picture of the chicken on the screen menu I see it's not grilled chicken although they call it "chicken". The service was great and the restaurant inviting and clean, but the food did not impress. For the same cost I'd go to another Thai place to get more authentic Thai.

We had a good experience and I would go back to try more dishes. The food is very reasonably priced and the portions are a nice size. I like that everything is served in a ready to go dish so it's easy to take home your leftovers. The panang curry was seasoned differently than I expected but had a good variety of vegetables and decent serving of meat. The pad Thai was great both the day of and when we reheated it for leftovers. Even though this is a self checkout set up, the staff is eager to help and very responsive. The restaurant is cute and you wouldn't know it was previously a chicken restaurant.

Went for late dinner here. We ordered Pad Thai bowl no spice and Beef Garlic Stir-fry bowl, medium spice. They're both delicious. This Asian Fusion Thai restaurant is the new food concept introduced by Malai Kitchen of DFW. They opened about a month ago in the former Chic-fil-A place fronting Preston Road in West Plano, TX. Friendly and helpful service staff. Nicely decorated with bright orange color painted building. Lots of parking, too.

This place absolutely deserves 5 stars! It's a fast casual restaurant and they even have drive through. It feels like a cross between a fast food restaurant as well as a regular restaurant with service since you do not have to bus your tables and they bring your food out to you. Waiting time was a bit faster than a typical restaurant but not as fast as like a fast food place. It'll probably depend on how busy it is. Now on to the food, we loved everything we got. The wings are amazing and the sauce is so flavorful. It was crispy and fried well too. I appreciate how you can modify everything in your order from spice levels to taking out ingredients. Some standout dishes include the pad thai which has shrimp and fried tofu pieces by default, the tiger noodles and pandan coffee soft serve. You can get either pandan or coffee or twist that I highly recommend the latter!!! The mix of flavor is so good and it really gives a good balance. The coffee isn't too bitter or strong and the pandan is quite potent but in a good way. Overall this is an amazing place!!

Food - 5 Service - 5 Value - 5 New fast casual concept by the owners of Malay Kitchen. Food is very fresh and it's easy to customize to your tastes. Portions are generous and one entree could easily be good for 2 lunches. We got the Pad See Eaw, Garlic Soy Stir Fry, and Basil Fried Rice and Taro Fries. Peach Ginger Tea was refreshing and I liked that it was unsweetened. Pandan and Vietnamese Coffee soft serve swirl was an awesome combo! Service is friendly and attentive and restaurant is very clean and has a nice outdoor patio when it's cooler. Rewards program is 10% of current purchase towards next visit until mid October and then 5% after that.

New Thai fast casual & drive-thru concept by Malai Kitchen is now open in the former Plano Chick-fil-A off Park & Preston. Super friendly service as they walk you through your first time ordering at the kiosk. Orders are customizable, from light sauces to extra add-ins. App - taro shoestring fries (light seasoning), so addictive! Main - chicken pad see ew, chicken ginger soy stir fry, basil fried rice Everything is cooked to order & came out very fresh. Chicken was tender & flavorful & big portions for leftovers. For dessert, get the pandan/Vietnamese coffee swirl!

the drunken noodles was good but their jasmine tea was not sweet at all. Not even a little bit and there was no option to request sweeteners if you order online. The drunken noodles was the right amount of spicy (Asian level but not so much) so be aware if you cant handle spice.

Fast casual Thai! Gorgeous design both outside and inside, making it feel a little nicer than your average quick service spot. We especially liked that they served beer, wine, and a few cocktails, overall making for a great casual date night. I also thought the portion sizes were great- not humongous like a lot of other Thai places we patron. My favorite part was the system they have to let you know where your order is in queue and estimated time for it to be ready. We'll be back!

Tried out this new spot and loved my experience! We walked in and were greeted by the servers on how to order. They have tablets to make your order. It was easy to use as well as easy to customize meals. We got the Drunken Noodles, Wings & Basil Fried Rice. The spice was surprisingly hot and the food all tasted great. They also have a homemade sriracha on each table which I thought was a nice touch. I also saw they have a drive through which is a bonus for days you want Thai and quick. The ambiance was quiet but lively as the restaurant had many guests. Overall we had a great time and loved the food. I will definitely be back!

A new fast, casual Thai restaurant at the old Chick Fil A building. Beautiful space with kiosk to order food from. I ordered their wings which came with size decent size tender and juicy wings tossed in a tangy garlic lemongrass sauce. It was sweet, savory, salty good. I also had their Drunken noodles which is one of my favorite Thai noodle dish over Pad Thai. It has the right amount of saltiness and sweetness to it on top of the spicy level you prefer. Staff were really friendly and welcoming upon walking in and willing to help if any questions about the menu while ordering. Definitely a great addition on the corner of Park and Preston.

Wings for the kids I can't remember the flavor but it was tasty little garlic and a little sweet.

And the food is authentic. Hot Hong Kong milk tea and French toast are my favorite breakfast items and that's exactly what I got. If I were in Hong Kong, I would get them in the morning. But I wouldn't mind having them any time of the day! The milk tea was great. I liked the aromatic, bold black tea. It was fairly creamy and smooth. The French toast was delicious also. Fried golden brown, it was toasty on the outside, and nutty, buttery (with peanut butter filling) on the inside. I liked the condensed milk drizzled on top, instead of syrup, which I normally use at home. They also have other Hong Kong style dishes, like the baked cutlet pork chop with rice, fish fillet in creamy white sauce, and iconic street foods like curry fish balls, radish, and pork rinds (yummy!) This place is fully decorated with so many Hong Kong street items, like the big wall pictures of busy, beautiful city views, signs of major streets, shop signs, etc. If you're not from Hong Kong, they may not mean too much to you. But if you are, they're invariably nostalgic. If you want a delightful experience of Hong Kong food and ambience, come give it a try.

The green onion pork chop rice was flavorful and comforting. The pork chop was tender and well seasoned, and the scallion soy sauce soaked beautifully into the rice. Simple and satisfying, exactly what you want from a classic HK café dish. The standout was the stir fried flat noodle with beef. It came out piping hot with steam rising, and the texture was spot on. The noodles were perfectly chewy without being greasy or clumped together, and the beef was tender with that subtle smoky wok hei flavor. You can tell it was cooked fresh, and that heat and texture really made the dish shine. The salted lemon soda was bright and refreshing, while the Yuen Yeung was strong and smooth with that classic Hong Kong milk tea and coffee combo kick. The tofu pudding had an authentic Hong Kong flavor. Served warm with a light ginger sugar syrup, it was silky smooth, delicate, and not overly sweet, bringing back that nostalgic HK dessert shop vibe. If you're craving classic Hong Kong cha chaan teng comfort food, this place absolutely hits the spot. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and it feels like a true neighborhood spot. We will be back.

The restaurant has vibrant decor and murals that transport you to a diverse neighborhood. Every employee who helped us was approachable and kind, checking on us after we were seated and served, going as far as taking photos for us when we asked because we were celebrating our anniversary, and bringing out things we asked for once we were seated. It seems basic to say that, but the warmth and kindness was felt from each employee we interacted with, and I don't want to gloss over their good service. Our order: - Angry Pho Birria Platter - Elote + Chips - Strawberry Lemonade - Ube Horchata The pho (a little spicy) and bao (a little sweet with super tender meat) will make you want to do a happy dance. The wings could have been a little crunchier but they were sauced so it's understandable. The Bang Bang and Spicy Chili flavors were delicious. The Birria tacos were good, but we loved everything else on the platter more. The Elote + chips starter was authentic and yummy. The chips felt like an odd pairing, but it tasted good together! The Strawberry Lemonade was sweet but refreshing. The Ube Horchata was creamy and delicious. Not too sweet, and the ice didn't ruin it. Know before you go: - Arrive early! We got there when they opened at 11 AM on a Friday. Two other parties were already there and waiting to dine, as well. By 11:30 AM, a nice-sized crowd had rolled in. They had no problem getting everyone served quickly, though. - You order and pay first, grab a seat, and then they bring your food out to you. - Yes, the platter sizes are sufficient for two hungry adults to fill up on! You might even have trouble finishing it all. - Their online menu has awesome pictures of each platter option.
