We spent a couple years trying to find a good replacement, but were disappointed with all the brick and mortar groomers we tried. Then we found Amanda with "Luv the Fur." We couldn't be more happy! Lucy loves not going to a brick and mortar groomer with the other barking dogs, waiting in a cage, and added stress. Amanda is great with her. She does a fantastic job, much faster than any other groomer we've tried. Fast doesn't mean less quality, though, Amanda leaves our Lucy clean, trimmed, & adorable! It is so convenient having her come to the house! The "Luv the Fur" customized van is fully equipped with everything needed, so there's no mess to clean up in the house afterwards. (Not to mention, it's really neat how the van was converted into a mobile grooming salon!) We had to wait almost a year for Amanda to have time to accept a new customer. I've hated not being able to recommend her when people ask who grooms Lucy, but she's recently purchased a second van, and is taking new clients. I'm so glad more Fur Babies will be able to enjoy a less stressful grooming!

They tried to say my vet was inexperienced and did not know what they were talking about to come up with such a diagnosis and even equated what happened to "a razor burn". Poor customer service and your dog will suffer.

Jana has done a wonderful job technically but her defensive attitude when you bring a concern is horrible. She needs client communication 101 help. Her new groomer has done a great job but in April 2025 and on Jan 30, 2026, Shadow has left with an infection his sheath of penis was infected both time and noticed the next day after left. In April I brought it to the groomer attention. Jana was not there. The groomer response was we clean out grooming tool per each dog. Not taking accountability at all. After his grooming on 1/30/2026 -two days later I noticed my dogs sheath was irritated. In both situation I provided photos. Jana responded via text very defensive, negative, chastising me for allowing him to continuously lick (which I do not do at all, I stopped my boy immediately when I see him do that.). She started saying he was matted in that sanitary area and t6ha he had discharged while grooming and this was the second time (Jana did not make me aware of it the first time). The interesting part was when I picked asked him and asked (as I always have) how he was the response from Jana and the other groomer was he was fine and we talked a bit and set up the next appointment of 3/17/2026. Not one time was I told about his matting, or discharge or anything until I brought the second concern (with photos) of the irritated penis. Jana went on me in her text message response. I am not making this up . I realized then that accountability is not business strong suit. I even told her things happen, but I was as getting concern this was the second time. Needless to say, I cancelled my future appointment. Allure has great groomer with good technical skills but Jana's attitude, her defensive responses and the horrible client communication is "matted" and needs "grooming"---,no soft skills at all.

That all changed when Janna took over as owner/manager and brought in a new groomer last year, Lateesha. Since then, every visit has been a nightmare. Lateesha shaves my dog down every single time with the excuse that he is "matted." EVERY SINGLE TIME! Lies. In over 20 years, this never once happened with the previous groomer. It is pure laziness and shows a lack of skill. She even cut the length of my dog's tail, which was completely unnecessary and cruel. It has never grown back! On my last visit, I tried to avoid Lateesha and asked for a different groomer. They gave me Amanda, but it was clear Lateesha had already said something to her. Amanda immediately claimed my dog was "matted" and then used a FLEA COMB...yes, a flea comb...to try to "prove" it. She started raking at the hair from the root, which is obviously impossible and completely inappropriate. Lateesha was in the background wearing earbuds but listening to the entire encounter and shaking her head as if I was trouble. That was the final straw. I gathered my dog and told her I would not be returning, but I would like to hear from the owner. Janna, the owner, is no better. She is more concerned with showing dogs and being away than running this business or making sure clients' dogs are properly groomed. I asked that she call me about what happened, and of course she never did. No follow up, no apology, no accountability. This place has gone from a trusted groomer to a disgrace. Janna is absent and careless, Lateesha is lazy and unskilled, and Amanda followed right in line with their excuses. After DECADES of loyalty, I will never bring my dogs back. If you value your pets, stay far away from Janna and her team. Note: I haven't heard from Janna, but I'm sure her trademark defensive rebuttal (complete with attitude and accusations of matting, as in past reviews) will appear in record time.

Mark has always been super responsive and helpful with scheduling and Laura, my regular pet-sitter, is incredibly friendly and makes me feel like my kitties are in great hands. It's obvious that she truly cares about the pets she watches. Adam has covered a few times and is also a wonderful sitter! They stay in contact, show when they say they will, and send adorable pictures. I am very happy with their service and highly recommend them.

While we were away, she gave us updates the entire time with photos and took our energetic lab on long hikes. Our cat was given lots of head scratches and tummy rubs. We came home to a couple of chilled out, happy healthy babies. It's priceless to be able to depend on Buckhead Paws for a worry free get-away. I love the appointment app and the staff is so nice. Every time I drop off Sparkles, I am greeted warmly and they treat my baby with love! Sparkles always smells nice and looks fantastic when I pick her up! To me that means that the staff cares and that they took their time with her, which I think is a plus. While we had one earlier issue (Wayne falsely accused me of disputing grooming charges with my bank), I chose to give the business another chance because mistakes happen. The first boarding experience went smoothly. I received photos and videos of Mylo, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. Unfortunately, this most recent boarding experience was an absolute nightmare--primarily due to poor customer service and a complete lack of communication between Wayne and his staff. When booking the boarding appointment, I clearly told Shan (the receptionist) that I wanted Mylo groomed during his stay. She repeated the services back to me and took a deposit to confirm everything. I dropped Mylo off on Friday, and Wayne told me he'd be ready for pickup at 3 PM on Sunday. I informed him my sister would handle the pickup, and he handed me a sticky note with a phone number for her to call. While I was out of town, I received zero photos or updates about Mylo, which was already concerning based on my previous experience. Then, on Sunday at around 12:30 PM, I got a call from a woman at Happy Hearts asking if Mylo could be picked up by 1:30 because she "had something to do" and Wayne had "a work thing." This was a major inconvenience. She called twice more rushing my sister, and then told me she'd be leaving at 2 PM regardless. Before hanging up, I requested a call from Wayne--but instead, she just texted me: "Hey may call this number when your sister arrives please." At this point, I was genuinely concerned about Mylo's well-being. It didn't feel like I had boarded him with a professional business--it felt like leaving him with an unreliable friend. When my sister arrived, she called the number and rang the doorbell, but no one responded. Eventually, the number called back and Wayne facilitated the pickup. That's when we found out Mylo was not groomed during his stay. Later that evening, Shan texted me from her personal phone, apologized for the miscommunication, and said I could bring Mylo in on Monday because they had availability. I brought him in that morning, but the receptionist said there was no availability and he wasn't on the schedule. When I mentioned the text from Shan, she was surprised and only recognized the automated business system message--not Shan's personal message. Eventually, they agreed to groom him because, at that point, he was not leaving without service. Before leaving, I again asked for Wayne to call me. He finally did hours later--with a completely dismissive, unapologetic tone. I expressed how disappointed I was with the service, the lack of updates, and how concerned I felt not knowing if Mylo ate, drank, was walked, or was comfortable during his stay. His response? He blamed his staff and said "You or Shan didn't tell me he needed to be groomed." That's unacceptable. I communicated everything clearly with your staff. It's not my job to repeat instructions your team failed to relay. And just when I thought the experience was over, when I picked Mylo up after his grooming, the receptionist casually mentioned that she had photos and videos from his stay--yet I still have not received a single one. This entire situation was unprofessional, stressful, and deeply disappointing. What used to be a trusted business turned into a mess of excuses, finger-pointing, and poor leadership. I will no longer be using Happy Hearts, and I strongly recommend finding a grooming and boarding facility that prioritizes clear communication, professionalism, and genuine care for your pets.

Took my Aussiedoodle, Teddy, for a much, much needed full grooming and considering how long it had…read morebeen since he'd had a haircut, the groomer did a phenomenal job! There are a few places where I've gone back and done some blending and trimming to even things out but Teddy tends to get antsy during a groom so I expected to have little details to clean up since it was his first time here. The staff is wonderful--I directly spoke with two of them and both were so kind, helpful and informative. I'll definitely be bringing Teddy back for his future full grooms and am thinking about taking him here for daycare.
