The food hasn't been good. They don't wear hair nets or gloves, the floor is nasty, and the food on the ground. They are not very nice when people order the food they have to wait 30 minutes. When someone comes to the drive where they have their friends, they make the customer wait to give their friends priority over a customer who has waited 20 minutes. So I give 3 star read more

It was a Wednesday and I had a hankering for some wings! I think Wednesday is my body's time clock for that wing craving. The biggest attraction here is there uber tasty chicken tenders. They come in sizes of 4, 6, 10, 12, and 20. Since I intermittent fast I am usually pretty hungry by 11 or 12. I went with their 6 tenders, their hot sauce flavor and the chipotle ranch and pepper jam dipping sauce. The hot flavor was the right amount of spiciness and the two dipping sauces were also great with the fries. The meal came with sides and I'm super glad I picked their slaw. It was delicious! The prices here great and their portions are tailored to how you like them! There's no seating inside, it's all outdoor. But their drive-thru is available also. read more

Within the last couple years, their quality, specifically the wings and tenders, has deteriorated. I'm not sure if the other menu items are better, but if a place called Yard Birds can't get chicken right, I'm too scared to try anything else. The wait is ridiculously long, but it was worth it, when the food was good. These days, you'll wait in line, for at least 20 minutes, for leftovers. This is the only fast food restaurant in the world where I know I'll be waiting in the drive-thru for 10-20 minutes but know it's worth it to get some of the best chicken tenders in town. I've come to Yard Birds numerous times and I've never 1) used the walk-up window to order, 2) been there when there hasn't been a line, and 3) ordered anything other than the chicken tender dinner. Besides chicken tenders they offer chicken wings in a handful of flavors, fried shrimp, fried catfish, and pork chops. Sides include french fries, potato salad, baked beans, jalapeno coleslaw, and Texas toast. My go to is the chicken tender dinner (6 tenders) with jalapeno coleslaw, french fries, one piece of Texas toast, and one honey mustard and one house sauce. This in itself doesn't take too terribly long to get in the drive-thru, but as with every other time you're in the drive-thru it all depends on what the folks in front of you order. One time I was at Yard Birds I had ordered and was next in line to pay, but the car in front was taking a while. After five minutes the side door to Yard Birds opened and the guy working the register brought me my order and let me pay him versus at the window. Hooray for attentive customer service! If you are in a rush, don't try and visit during the weekday lunch rush or around dinner time regardless of the day. With that said, I've still waited in line for 15+ minutes at 2:00 PM and at 8:00 PM. If you've got the time though, I think it's worth the wait. read more

My only complaint was I ordered the hot wings, and despite a warning from the employee that they were very spicy, they were maybe a light mild. This was my first time here and wasn't sure what to expect. I decided to go for the shrimp po boy. First and last time I make that mistake. Hoagie bun with 2 tomatoes slices in half, 1 leaf of lettuce, and a pile of deep fried popcorn shrimp. The thing was so dry I couldn't eat it as a sandwich.
