Very affordable and delicious meal, chicken tenders are a bit small but the House sauce tasted amazing.

I'm not even a chicken tender fan but I sure love theirs. They're seasoned and cooked to perfection. The house sauce & potato salad are both amazing as well. The kids meal can be enough for an adult if you're not that hungry. The coleslaw is a little peppery so I wasn't really a fan of that but everything else is so good. Sometimes the line can be really daunting but they get you through it super quickly. Definitely a hometown favorite! read more

Lemme just say this.....THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! Granted I've only had the chicken tender dinner, I'm perfectly content with that. The spices on their tenders and fries are awesome. When they ask if what dipping sauces you want, you NEED to get chipotle ranch and you should definitely try the red pepper jam. The tender dinner comes with the fries, slaw and a slice of toast and tea/lemonade. Definitely opt for the sweet tea, you won't be mad about it and you can always substitute the slaw if you're not really a fan and get a little extra fries. The food is great, it's drive through only but they have a couple tables outside the place, but I've never seen anyone there. The line gets backed up pretty good but it's worth it!! read more

Because we couldn't make up our minds what we wanted , we decided on this place. When we got to the menu you'd think there would be a wide assortment of food. Let's just say I was highly disappointed. The pricing was ridiculous back home I would have gotten more bang for my buck. I ordered the 10 piece lemon pepper wings, and 2 tender snacks. Which I paid $30 and some change. Should have drove off! I couldn't taste any lemon pepper. So they might as well have been naked wings. My kids didn't eat the tender snack and they aren't picky eaters. The fries were soggy. They never have to worry about me visiting this trash restaurant AGAIN. read more

I had the chicken finger dinner. It's a hell of a meal (and comes with a drink) for only 7 bucks. They use a creole style paprika-based seasoning that gives the fingers/fries a really unique flavor compared to competitors. The food was also lightly fried an didn't give me that lead-stomach feeling I usually get from this type of meal. I was a Zaxby's employee for nearly 9 years so I know my chicken fingers, and these are as good as chicken fingers get. I swapped out the slaw for potato salad and I'm glad I did. Very creamy and tasty. Not at all bland like so many potato salads are. My only dislike were the sauces were a bit runny and somewhat bland (house and HM) but honestly this food is good enough to eat without any dipping sauces. Will definitely repeat. All I need to say about yardbirds is WOW. This tiny little place did not fall on my list of places I wanted to eat at whenever my husband would ask if we could stop there for the night. He tried it with guys from work and has been obsessed ever since. I'm SO glad he made me try it because it is AMAZING. We get the chicken tender dinner every time- I can't seem to get past it and I don't this I ever want to. It's that good. I get red pepper jam and it comes with sweet tea or lemonade. On the outside it looks like a cheap food shack but the food is so good! My husband and I always get the chicken dinner. The breading on the chicken and seasoning on the fries are so delicious!!! Love their house sauce! House sauce is a must have when you come here. Its their homemade sauce. Also have tried their shrimp dinner. It was good but definitely come here for the chicken dinner. I would suggest going through the drive through and bringing your food home. There is outdoor seating but not many tables. This place is always busy during lunch and dinner hours. Yardbirds is a rock solid four stars, perhaps five in the right circumstance.. Place is legit, simple, and local as far as know.. Genuinely friendly service at both my visits. Chicken is hot, fresh, and delicious.. I've gotten the tender dinner twice now and can't say that I've had better anywhere that I can remember.. Yardbirds is a drive through/walk up joint with a few tables outside that I recommend for scarfing while everything is still piping hot and crispy. Very tasty! French fries fried to perfection with seasoning salt to finish. We got the chicken wings and shrimp and we loved it. Not much bad to say. I wasn't super thrilled about the warm coleslaw.
