I've been here quite a few times now at different times of day, alone, with one other person, and with a group. Overall, I am happy with the service. Things were a little slow with the group once, but whether it's lunch or dinner, alone or with another party, I've been very happy with the friendly and attentive staff. The food is very good - we've tried a good portion of the menu, but my preference will always be for the sushi bowls and the maki, although going all out on the chef"s choice is definitely worth it! My son and I had a great meal here today. We got two apps and a salad. The Cobb salad was excellent. Dressing on the side the chicken that they serve on top of the cob is so tasty. It's worth it to get it for that alone. We also ate the Peking rolls, and they were very crispy and great tasting. The Asian ribs, were very tender, though I think the taste of them could be changed just a bit. The winner of the whole meal by far, was the chicken and waffles appetizer. My son had it as a meal and there was more than enough. The manager, Michael, heard us gushing about the chicken and waffles, and said he'd love to hear that so we chatted a bit. He explained that while they make the chicken in house which is fried yet very tender, the waffles they actually import from Belgium. Belgium? Well it was worth it for sure. Neither of us will ever order anything else and it's definitely enough for a meal. Paloma was our waiter and she was wonderful. Very attentive, friendly, yet didn't hover of course. Though it was an expensive lunch, we would definitely go back there. The people make it great and the atmosphere is excellent also. Kind of laid-back yet great for a work lunch, and the music isn't too loud. It doesn't hurt that I'm a deadhead. I love all of the serenitee restaurants. A couple I rate lower than others and one of my favorite is Calas in Manchester. Each one has its own vibe, so callas is very different, but equally exceptional. Tried Alchemy for the first time ordered the Brie appetizer- There was literally the tiniest scaping of cheese on the bottom and 3 slivers of apple with 3 small stale pieces of bread. Popped in spontaneously with my 2 kids. Hostess was ice cold and greeted us with a glare when I asked to see the menu, then she disappeared. We waited a few minutes and then a server came to ask us if we'd like to be seated. Hostess returned and was irritated we decided to stay and eat. Copied directly from every other restaurant this place owns-- I remember eating them at Maggie's Farm a while back. Even better after the drinks. Drinks: Lychee tasted lake a lush bath bomb. My friend said windex. Peach thing is some take on a Bellini, pretty good in comparison to the other. Citrus salad: BITTER as anything. Avocado was the only thing saving this. If I could give this place a 3.5 I would. The service is extremely friendly and welcoming, however, everything else about this place is your standard chain restaurant. We ordered sushi, the bang bang cauliflower, chicken and waffle sliders, and fried pickles. Of these, I'd say the bang bang chicken was the best as the rest felt subpar. The bang bang cauliflower was well flavored and crispy. The sushi we only got because of a special and it was disappointing both in flavor and in the way it was rolled as everything fell apart once you'd pick up the roll. This place is big though so it's a good spot for groups or a last minute dinner plan as there is ample seating. In addition, portion sizes are large so another great way to try multiple items when you have a group. read more

For cocktails we had their prickly pear martini which had pear vodka, elderflower liqueur, lemon and simple syrup. We also had their seasonal sweater weather drink which had caramel vodka, apple cider, lime and ginger beer. This location has a wonderful selection of cocktails, wines and beer to choose from. For sushi we had the "friend of the devil" roll which had spicy tuna, cucumber, avocado, fresno chile, sriracha, sweet chile and scallion. This was so delicious and had a great level of spice! I highly recommend grabbing a sushi roll here-plus its buy one get one half off sushi rolls on Wednesdays. For appetizers we tried their baked gouda dip (perfect for sharing with others!) it was a smoked cava aged #gouda around a puff pastry with apple butter and pickled butternut squash. We also had their sticky asian pork ribs which had hoisin sauce, scallions, lime and spicy peanuts on top! For entrees we had their Bourbon Marinated Steak Tips, Jack's Halibut and General Gao's tofu bowl. My personal favorite was the general Gao's tofu bowl which contained crispy firm tofu with a spicy orange soy glaze, broccolini, sticky rice, and toasted sesame. This restaurant still haunts me in the night... The ambience was nice at first glance. If you look a bit harder, the facade start to fall apart. The mirrors behind the chairs are nasty--looked like a Petri dish from Bio class. Our server Breanna did not know the menu well at all. She forgot to put in an order causing us an unnecessary wait. The fish tacos were decent and their fries were pretty good. The sushi was average and tasted like supermarket sushi so it wasn't worth the price which by the way was $12 for two pieces. I was looking forward to trying this place for awhile as I love places that have decent menu options from all different types of food without having too many that you don't know what to pick. Our waitress was not in a great mood but she got better over the meal. My friend and I started with the 781 smoked mango buffalo Chicken Wings which tasted alright but they came out cold. They looked like they had been sitting down for awhile before they were brought to the table. I also started with a Spicy Margarita which was very watered down, maybe because they have taller glasses than normal, but I would definitely not recommend drinks here. The lime looked old and yellow too. I tried the Baja Fish Tacos with extra crispy fries while he tried the Lamb Lavash Wrap with the green beans on the side. The tacos had next to no fish in it (see pictures) and it wasn't fresh. One of the tacos was very burnt on one side (forgot to take a pic) and our waitress offered to make a new one but my appetite was ruined by then. Completely disappointing. We had to ask them to refill our water. The fries should not be the best part of any restaurant, although I'm glad they weren't as disappointing as the rest of it. I also don't appreciate when the pictures look good but the food is less than mediocre. Major pass. Also the bathroom sink was covered in water and not maintained. If you're at MarketStreet I'd really only recommend Legal C Bar or Davio's, the rest of the restaurants are just for aesthetics but disappointing food. The restaurant has a beautiful interior and plenty of outside seating and I noticed when the weather gets cooler, they also have standing heaters outside throughout our meal. There were a lot of items on the menu that looked tasty. I went with the ramen fries and Poké bowl. The waiters and waitresses were pleasant and provided good service, checking in on us periodically. Unfortunately the food fell short. The salmon Poké bowl, while all the ingredients were there, it was just not fresh and I was confused at what type of sauce they used. It was some sort of red paste it, but it didn't go well with the dish. It reminded me of an Americanized Poké bowl, but worse. The appetizer we received was also disappointing. Drinks: I honestly cannot remember all the drinks we ordered, but they were good. the pear martini I had was my fave, and the bartender was great at adjusting the amount of simple syrup for me. Food: we had the burrata fig toast to begin with. Very odd and not great plating; it was set over a bowl. What? So transferred it to my plate, cut it into thirds, and divided the burrata. It was good, crispy toast, sweet fig, smooth, creamy burrata, and a hit of salt, but it was not consistent. Very good. Entrees: we had sushi, lavash lamb wrap, and a burger. Sushi was a fresh and generous amount, Lamb was a lil overcooked, but the inside accompaniments were tasty. Fries were a star! Crispy, creamy, and seasoned so well. Hubs said the burger was right temp, with great toppings and gooey cheese. Service: The bartender was clearly overworked and stressed and was moving as fast as she could. I understand getting the staff these days is tough, but I felt terrible for her. Overall, we have been here a few times, and the food and service as always been above acceptable. Came here with my husband, his tummy hurt after eating. The BLT bacon was supposed to be crispy according to another review but it was more like leather. The calamari was supposed to come with little spicy peppers says the menu, but we found only 2 small pieces of pepper, calamari tastes like nothing. The fried pickles were ok, too salty. We got a wobbly table and waiting quit some time for a server to come over. We asked a couple of times for a table stopper and finally got one after our drinks spilt. Food was delicious- started with calamari and had the lobster roll which was filled with lobster and perfect amount of Mayo.
