I use to really enjoy the yard house Which is why I continue to come here despite the quality of food slowly declining. The waitstaff and bartenders do their best and the options of beers are always very enjoyable. I've visited many locations in the MA area and this one had always been my favorite. I greatly enjoyed my visit to this restaurant, the service was excellent. I got the 20oz ribeye with parm mashed potatoes and broccoli, while my wife had the everything ahi Tuna sandwich. The steak was excellent, well cooked, and seasoned expertly. My wife did not enjoy her Tuna sandwich as much as we'd had hoped, but everything else was excellent. We love the Yard House and this experience is by far the worst ever at any of the different establishments we have visited. Order took over an an hour on a Monday night. Half the order never made it to the table. Staff forgot that we even placed an order. Bathrooms were gross. Manager gave us a reduced cost meal... Don't eat here if you have places to be. read more

Quality has gone down here in my opinion. The food no longer has that same flair of flavor, it now resembles that food chain quality. We recently went there for my birthday with some girlfriends so we ordered some apps for the table and I ordered the Mac and cheese with mushrooms, chicken, bacon and truffle oil. To me this was SO bad, the chicken tasted like something that was pre-made, put in the fridge for days and quickly heated up. There are just too many things in this dish for it to taste good. I barely ate half and just let the rest go to the trash. As a table we split cheese curds, sweet potato fries and spinach dip. Everything was just OK. The dip was too little for the amount of chips/peta that they give you. The curds weren't hot and the fries were kinda soggy and WAY too sweet. Overall the quality here has dipped a lot more than I remembered being here last. A bit of a disappointment and no longer my "go to" in that market street plaza when looking for food. read more

The Yard House is a busy loud restaurant with a variety of gluten free options. Came on a friends recommendation and start to finish the meal was at best eatable. The gluten free burger was barely eatable with the grease soaked bun and burger. The grease literally dripped down my hand while trying to eat the burger. The staff friendly upfront waitress disappeared after the long wait for food that came out warm. Over crowded and loud the only highlight was the quick seating in the bar area. Quick stop for lunch very close to when they opened. Typically these restaurants will be packed during sports games but since it just opened for the day, the semi-quiet atmosphere provided a more relaxed setting so that you could view the expansiveness of the black décor. Our waitress was very kind, pleasant and professional throughout our limited time there. This made a difference as we informed her from the start and she adapted very well with multiple check-ins. I believe her name was Bee. Plenty of parking all around Marketstreet Lynnfield leading to the restaurant where inside we sat at a comfortable and spacious corner booth typically reserved for around 10-12 people but since it was very early in the day, we were able to stretch our legs and obtain more than enough elbow room. Since I haven't been at a Yardhouse in a number of years, I was reminded the first few pages of the menu were devoted to alcohol but since there was driving throughout the day, I had to forgo for another time. The food portion of the menu does a pretty good job at accommodating various dietary restrictions and preferences, with sections for seafood, burgers, sandwiches, salads as well as vegetarian choices. After ordering and receiving the Grilled Chicken and Avocado Sandwich with a side Sweet Potato Fries, we didn't have too much time to sit around but did have sufficient time to experience the food. The brioche bun was nicely toasted with a well-seasoned chicken breast although on the saltier side but the lemon aioli provided some alleviation. The sweet potato fries were standard but enjoyable. Always liked this place. However, after yesterday's experience we will NEVER go back. I have checked with friends and they have experienced the same issues. Server took our drink order - only 2 of us - had to come back to recheck said he forgot what we ordered. Ordered our entrees which took a VERY long time to be delivered. Server said he brought out the order even though it was incomplete because he didn't want us to wait any longer. After our food was getting col, he then brought out the fries but forgot the sauce for the main entree. Pathetic read more

I usually enjoy Yard House, a classy establishment with good food and a suave ambiance but my most recent experience gets a 1 star from me! I ordered a bbq bacon cheeseburger and I got it medium well to ensure it was cooked, let's just say it was in fact not cooked healthily, I took a few bites and shrugged it off as okay as I mindlessly consumed my borger. I ate about half of it when I realized how undercooked it truly was, I brought it to the waitresses attention and she was cold, cruel, and dismissive. I still tipped her 20% because I have morals. The after effects didn't hit until about 4am the night of. I woke up and my stomach felt like a wild beast was clawing at my insides. That damn burger! I spent my night with what seemed like the bubonic plague. I still feel minor after effects days later. I'm not gonna give up on the yard house yet, because I see them as I see an old friend, I'm just gonna say, do better. read more

This USED TO BE a good restaurant but no more. I dined here 2 days ago and got the chicken nachos. They made them by first pouring what tasted like tomato sauce all over the chips. The waiter later told me it was "enchilada sauce " but, no matter, it tasted like rather flavorless tomato sauce and they put so much on that it made all the nacho chips soupy and soggy. They were beyond awful. I told the waiter that they "were awful and I just couldn't eat them." He apologized but still charged me even though I gave him back almost the entire plate as inedible. It's particularly frustrating when you inform the waiter right away and return all the food, and they still charge you and give you nothing in return. I also got the sliders app...and took them all home because they weren't just served overcooked, but they were also cold! So, while I was very disappointed with the food, I was more disappointed by the lack of consideration with the service. I'm not sure if I'll go again? read more

After a long day outdoors with a group in Danvers, we needed a place to unwind and refresh ourselves before the long ride home. What a great venue we found here in Burlington, MA. The food was fresh, Tasha our server was so helpful, attentive and had the sweetest spirit. We ate a variety of food and had a variety of different drinks as well and the Yard House rolled well with the challenges of this large group and exemplified what I believe is a great top-down business model of hospitality! Firstly I felt very comfortable on the patio in the dead of winter as it was enclosed with ceiling heaters. The seating was adequately spaced. We had fun playing trivia on the electronic tablet as we waited for drinks and food. My husband is not easily impressed, but said that the wonton ahi tuna nachos were the best nachos he's ever had. They were light and crisp and flavorful. Sadly, however, the fish n chips that my husband ordered were abysmal. The breading was so dark and overcooked that he could barely eat it. Sadly the waiter never came over to ask how our meals were so we didn't give a chance for feedback. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup which was very flavorful and had lovely crunchy tortilla strips. Yum. So a mixed review---amazing app and soup, but crappy entree and so-so service. I love yard house , I don't go here nearly as much as I want to. I had the salted watermelon margarita and it was good ! Ok so the onion ring tower was one of the best apps I've had in a long time. The onion rings were light , unlike some places where the onion rings are too heavy / over done. Yesterday was a 1 star at Best. Lynnfield MA location - Two sets of sliders - both extremely overcooked and a tuna dish that was gross. They did remove the sliders that were eaten at the bar off the tab but the ones that made it home were just as bad. I've been in this location about eight times since 2017 when I left my first review of a three-star blah. This was an all time low. I like the food. But(!) here is why they get two stars. COVID is still a problem, yet the server: 1) served the drinks by grabbing the glass at the very top where I am to drink from, and placed them at the table 2) served straws that were NOT covered with paper(!), grabbing them by one end and dropping them at the table. You would think that this establishment had the basic brains to do these simple tasks in a more sanitary way. What's wrong with the management there? read more

My wife and I came to this Yard House for lunch on the way home after a bike ride. We've been to other Yard House locations and always enjoyed the experience. This location is typical of many of the Yard Houses in that the layout is a bar in the middle of a large spacious room. For chain restaurants it's a cut above the likes of Applebees. I ordered the Pepper Jack Burger which was cooked just right and was delicious. We like coming back to Yard House because the food and the service is always good. read more

Poke nachos there are bomb! Buffalo wings was good, but they don't have spice level to choose from. My niece enjoyed her chicken sandwich until it all hell apart cause the bread was too soggy. Steak n cheese was good. Disappointed about my jambalaya though. The waitress was nice but a bit slow. We had to keep asking for water that finally came out. Pros: Their happy hour menu is wonderful it is half off the original price of their appetizers which cuts back the price and is filling too. Their poke nachos with their fresh tuna will always be my favorite and the boneless wings korean flavor has a spicy kick but it's not too spicy. They have a large drink selection however I like that they can accommodate to my regular drink of a amoretto sour. I highly recommend the food because it is pretty good even though the items outside of happy hour is quite pricey. Service: The service will always be 50/50 here. Some days you will get terrific service and other days you'll get trash service. The special thing at this Yardhouse is that they have a tablet on the table which you can use and signal a waiter which is helpful when they actually see the light and respond. Cons: The wait could get pretty long on the weekends and the service can be bad sometimes. The atmosphere is fine, but at night the restaurant is pretty dim which results in getting sleepier. Overall: I've always loved coming to Yardhouse especially when they have their happy hour because it's worth it. There is both indoor and outdoor seating that is great because it decreases the wait (except on the weekend) so make sure you go online as they have a wait list. read more

I visited this restaurant for the first time on a Saturday night, 9/30/23. It's a spacious establishment and it was very busy. I thought "we will have to wait forever for our order. I was wrong! The ambiance was nice. Our server Conner, was awesome. He displayed wonderful customer service. He took our drink order and came back to check on us. The drink order took a long time, the bar was crowded. He took our food order, we had a party of four. We asked for bread and butter, it wasn't on the menu , but he brought some to our table. The food came quick. We ordered the Jambalaya, Fish and Chips, 20 oz Bone In Ribeye, and the Fontina Vodka Penne. It was all delicious! Through it all Conner was attentive and polite. This is a great place if you think drinking out of a yard glass is a good time for me I had a ball it was excellent! The appetizers are of good quality an average size pricing what you would expect for a place like this. You will be amazed at how many beers on tap they have. They have a whole room with a glass wall so you can see where they store all the kegs and the piping system goes up into the ceiling amazing definitely a must see at least one time. Lynnfield marketplace is getting a little busy so sometimes parking is a little tricky is always adequate parking but sometimes you have to walk quite a distance from the storefront you want to. The restrooms are clean the waitstaff is fabulous and the bartender is a great knowledgeable all is on tap and food descriptions. read more
