I have been there for lunch 3 times and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We went there with friends at 5 pm last night. First we were seated on the "covered" patio. Yes it had a roof but it was windy. So we went inside and were seated at a small table for 4. Two in the group wear hearing aids and it was so deafeningly loud we couldn't even talk. We went during happy hour for half price apps. We got 4 that came in giant bowls plus sliders, chicken tenders and a pizza. Between those and our drinks plus my glass of water there wasn't enough room on the table to set everything! I've had the chicken tenders before and they were large, plentiful and delicious. This time they were skinny little chunks and over fried. The Brussels Sprouts were burned. The cheese curds were unevenly sized chunks - not at all like the picture online. And I am really sick of those on the table kiosks that I am supposed to use to order and pay! We did have a nice server who used the kiosk to place our order. I may be back for lunch but I definitely will never come for dinner again which is a shame because some things on the menu looked really good. Please explain to me why restaurants think they have to be "hurt your ears" loud to be fun? A little sound proofing and less music would go a long way to helping the situation. Rethinking the size of the serving dishes to fit the small tables might also be a good idea. If we had been in a booth it might have helped us have a better experience. We definitely would have had more room. It was our friends' first time. I doubt they'll be back. read more

Came to the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon right around lunchtime. Restaurant was not packed but well occupied. We walked in and got a table for 2 right away. The ambience is like a sports bar. Many TV's well placed around the restaurant. Enjoyable atmosphere and not too noisy. We were pleasantly greeted and seated. Our server Silvia, who is a star, explained the dishes we were debating. She was very knowledgeable of their preparation which made it easier for us to choose. We decided on the 10 wings app with lemon pepper, the firecracker shrimp app, 20oz ribeye and the lobster garlic noodles. For drinks we had a Bloody Mary and a Lavender Lemon Drop using tequila instead of vodka. Bloody Mary was very tasty with candied bacon, olives and lime. If they added a celery stick it would've been perfect. Wifey loved the lemon drop. It came with an ice cube you normally see in an old fashioned. Lemon pepper wings were perfectly fried. Crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Could use more seasoning but were tasty. The firecracker shrimp was delicious. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and the seasoning was on point! No sauce needed. It's not the best cut of meat, like you'd expect from a Ruth Cris, but definitely worth the price. Garlic noodles were very tasty also. They could cut back a tad bit on the oil used in their preparation. All in all, we enjoyed the service and the food. We will most likely return to try other menu items that look interesting. read more

We love Yard House in Lombard and we're thrilled to see the new updated design / decor in this brand new location. It's such an upbeat environment. We love the ability to enjoy 3 different tacos! Never order food from here, pick up food order was 20 minutes late and then when I walked inside to ask if my food was ready they told me it wasn't ready. I went back outside and waited, and then when they gave me my food, I was missing food and the manager and the staff did not seem like they cared whatsoever never order food from this establishment. They will not help you at all when they mess up. My total was 110 dollars and all they did was give me a 25 dollar gift card. This whole process took 50 min and the other food was cold at this point. The food was terrible and the service was so slow. It is so extremely loud in there so it was almost impossible to hear the waiter who did not speak up. The food is frozen food that is just deep fried. Cheese curds came out almost raw where you can still taste the dough and flour. We were waiting for the check for 20 minutes and were never told the check is built into the electronic tablet on the table. Will not return- waste of money! Fish and chips were awful. read more

I've been to Yard House twice now, and it is DELICIOUS no matter what you get!! The cheese curds are amazing and not too greasy, steak bowl is probably the best steak i've had in a long time, and any taco you get is fresh and so flavorful. Service is always amazing, hosts and servers are very welcoming and timely, as well as managers are very helpful if needed. The place is also loaded with tvs, so it's great to go and watch some sports with the family. I don't drink beer, but everyone I know says their selection is amazing. 100% will go again and recommend this place to anyone who asks!! read more

my mom and i a few friends of ours went today for lunch. it was moderately busy, and service was a little slow. it had great atmosphere for it being a sports dive bar, but these places are usually not my go to places to eat; i tried it anyway considering i had never been. there were many things on the menu and what looked like great choice to choose from. I had ordered spicy beef garlic noodles, and it was something i probably would not order again. the beef was GREY! lazy dog from next doo has something very similar to this dish and other places as well that i've eaten, and their beef wasn't grey whatsoever. i had requested no mushrooms and found mushrooms in the plate. i texted my husband a photo of the beef because i was unsure about the color, and he told me not to eat it out of concern for my health and safety. i picked out what i could in regards to mushrooms and grey beef and ate the overcooked soggy noodles that came with it. i only had one mocktail and wasn't asked for another drink or even a water, but the other ladies i was with were asked many times about refills. really disappointed!! because i had seen and heard many great things about this place. i probably will not return and stick with restaurants who don't serve meat that seems out of code. read more

Beautiful atmosphere waitress was very nice and I would love to return if only for that. We paid 100.00 for 2 alcoholic beverages and chicken tender half off appetizers with fries and those were terrible. The fries tasted wet like they were frozen previous and the chicken had no flavor. The main courses were a BLT with turkey and that was the turkey that you get out of the freezer section at a grocery store and a Birria taco combination and those also tasted like they had weird seasonings on them that weren't made in house. I would love to return if the food was better. So for a Naperville restaurant, I would hope that the chef would do a better job in the food category. And I don't mean spicy or over seasoned. I just mean a little bit of something that I couldn't do myself at home. It would be nice to have a restaurant that offered a variety where there wasn't over seasoning but just a little bit better seasoning. read more

Overall I would consider this location to be average. I ordered the BBQ Burger with the Parmesan Truffle Fries, and found the burger to be quite decent, but the fries were quite flavorless. The service was also a mixed bag. There seemed to be a lack of communication between the servers and front staff. Overall Ambiance was quite rowdy, which is to be expected for this type of establishment, but at times it was quite overwhelming. read more

We have a 20 people party for daughter's birthday. Unfortunately the service was C- at best, servers were confused and we constantly needed get their attention having to stand up and look for help. So the food was good. My server, I feel , could have been more attentive. No refills on drinks suggested or offered, when food came- no follow ups on if anything was needed (i.e. ketchup for fries, salsa for tacos) no quality check regarding the food, we had to ask for dessert. My wife and I were fortunate enough to be able to attend the "soft" opening on Saturday night. To say everything was great would be a huge understatement. From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated so unbelievably well. The atmosphere was electric and the service was spectacular. They had dozens of televisions with college football playing on all of them. Our server, Tramaine, was awesome. She was probably one of the best servers we have ever had. She was not just incredibly friendly and personable, but she was very knowledgeable of the menu and super attentive during our entire visit. She truly is a gem. Then there was the cocktails and the beer. As with the food, they were fabulous. The Old Fashion and their version of a Long Island Iced Tea were amazing, and the beers were perfect. The manager, Jazz, was very cool too. We will definitely be returning on a regular basis. read more

I've been to this new location three times now and I have to tell you that the bartenders are not at all with the bartenders are at some other locations in example Lombard. There are some familiar faces here that I see from the other store, but there's also a bunch of flat out worthless employees that now collect the paycheck from this place. The bartenders that were there last night we're not doing that much they were too busy putting down bottles of liquor, pretending that they were cleaning the bottles when they weren't really cleaning the bottles so they can get cut and go home. I sit at the bar for 15 minutes trying to get someone's attention and I noticed that there were two bartenders in the service while working very hard and very fast and I do not blame them because they're actually executing for the entire restaurant. However, when you have bartenders assigned to the corner of the bar, they need to do their freaking job and greet people right away and offer them drinks and food. I am not impressed at all on my fourth experience to this new location at the level that this place performs. Spending $70-$90 just for a few drinks and food to get horrible service in return? Nah.....I'll stay home for that. Tonight I saw a new tap handle and I asked the Bartender with the huge eyeball on her neck tattoo with the beer was and she tried telling me that it was a Pilsner. After looking up the beer, I realize that it was a Belgium triple nothing like a Pilsner. Then she tried telling me that there's too many beers here and she doesn't understand them all. Not my fault you are expected to know your inventory bartending is more than just pouring a drink. It is knowing about the breweries and I'm telling you that 80% of the bartenders here except for the season bartenders that I see from the other location, do not know what the hell they are doing. This location is looking like a joke to me and it's too bad because I live within two minutes away. read more

Yesterday we tried the Yard House around lunch time. The menu was extensive. The brag about having the most draft beers of any. However, when I saw a picture of a non alcoholic Guinness on their menu, I asked our waitress for one. Our waitress could not find it on the menu contraption that you use to place and pay for your order. I said, "It's on your menu." She left to enquire about it and returned with the reason was they were out and it was on order. I chose ice water after that. My "large" Spicey Jambalaya did not have much chicken, a number of very small crawfish pieces, three shrimp and some spicy sausage, which was the only spicey thing on my plate. My wife's burger was ok though. The onion rings we ordered came and one was almost hot but the others were various temperatures. I guess they just take them out of premade container, and you get what you get. We ate a couple onion rings and stopped. Our waitress did take them off our bill when we were getting ready to pay. We probably won't be back, at least not for a long while, unless someone takes us there. read more
