We visited on Tuesday evening with a party of 3 for dinner and it was a nice experience. We were seated right away at a high top table, the place was pretty full. Drink orders were taken right away with a slight delay for food orders. We ordered the Fish & Chips, Ahi Sandwich (added a Caesars Salad), and Bacon Cheeseburger. All were well prepared, plated and very tasty. The beers were cold and refreshing. The service was a bit spotty, with extended wait periods between visits from the waitress. I'll give them a pass, as almost all places are experiencing staffing issues. Overall: Good food and drink. read more

Negative review. Asked bartender if I could sit with family at table at bar area which he said yes then ordered with server and had manager come minute after to say I needed to move because they did not want my business and all orders were canceled because there was a misunderstanding. Avoid manager Issac kicked my family out with no reason and avoided bartender that said that was ok will contact corporate to report manager. read more

If you're looking for somewhere to go for happy hour come to yard house, it really is HAPPY hour! It does get busy but I'd say it's worth the wait, I really enjoyed the poke nachos and four cheese spinach dip. Friendly servers, dimly lit and right next to the mall and other plazas where you can get some window shopping done before or after getting a nice meal. read more

Every time I've been here, it's been a good time. The staff is usually friendly. They used to have exceptional service, but it has gone down over the years. The food has always been good. I tried the new veggie burger. They had Beyond. The new veggie patty is a downgrade. The burger was good, especially the spicy tahini sauce. Unfortunately, like other veggie patties, it gets soggy. The beer selection is great. It made me so happy when I found out they offered sour beers. The restrooms are clean. Sad to see the Beyond go, but at least there is still Gardein. read more

Went here with my family. I haven't been here in a very long time so I didn't remember if it was good. We sat on the outside deck area. Our server this day was Jose. At first, he wasn't attentive, but after a while, he started to do really well. I tried the Maui chicken,veggies, and rice with a Grand patron margarita, and they ordered the whiskey glazed salmon. Server's try to save seats for their friends at the bar during Dodger games. A Ricky Recardo look alike told me I cannot save a seat for my wife for 20 to 30mins. First of all my wife's job was less than 10 minutes away. I'm certain he had a friend that needed a seat because I saw people holding seats for the over 30mins. It was during a Dodger game and we have never experienced this type od bs before. We will be watching the Dodger games at home moving forward instead of spending $100 plus dollars at this establishment. read more

The host sat us immediately which was awesome! The servers Lorenzo and Araceli were great... Engaging, professional and knowledgeable.... We ordered the brussel sprouts for appetizers and were surprisingly good. We ordered from the Happy Hour menu, and I ordered the Poke Salad (not a Happy Hour item). The salad was good, but the fish was really-really salty...?! Is that normal...? Thankfully when we got there which was about 1500-1530 the Yard House was not overly busy, so it was reasonably quiet, but there were other patrons in the restaurant and it was not loud just yet. I like that the Yard House has space between the tables, and there isn't so much cramming the tables so close to each other. The beer selection is endless. The food there provides a nice variety for all tastes. This is our second return to this location for work, and we would return. read more

The food was not good. Something must be up with their food preparation team. - The kale salad had barely grilled Brussel sprouts (a lot of the pieces I received were still clearly uncooked). The grilled chicken I added was cold, salty, and tough. There was also too much Caesar dressing, but that's a personal preference. - The burger, which we requested to be medium rare, was just basically raw. A couple of bites in, and it wasn't edible. Service was fine. - Our server was nice. We were reluctant to tell her about the issues we had with our dishes, but she encouraged us to let her know and that she would tell her manager. - She requested her manager to come out not once, but twice. But the manager never did. The establishment didn't seem to care. - She ended up comping one of our dishes, which was nice of her. Ambiance - We were seated in their outdoor, shaded patio area which was nice with the fans. It was 80+ degrees but it was cool. - The table next to us was seated before us, and they waited 1.5 hour to get cold food. Needless to say, they paid for their drinks and left upset. I'd have given this experience a 1 star, but our server was nice enough to talk to us and also helped comp a dish. read more

Absolutely terrible experience at this Yard House. Their website allows you to join the waitlist and guarantees your spot for up to 30 minutes, but when I arrived well within that window, I was still forced to wait nearly an hour. On top of that, the front desk staff was completely disorganized, I had to repeat my name four times and even give my number out multiple times, which is ridiculous. To make matters worse, their website also claimed "no wait for a party of two", but when I arrived, that was clearly not true. If you're going to post estimated wait times online, at least make sure they're accurate! Overall, the poor management, misleading information, and frustrating service make this place a hard pass. Plenty of other restaurants actually respect their customers' time, this isn't one of them. read more

Not the place for a "date night" VERY LOUD! Sports on all the TV's bar in the center and music blaring. They also sat us next to the kitchen. The whole wall is open so all we heard was banging and clanking in the kitchen. (See pictures) food was sub par and very over priced. I got "lobster" shrimp n garlic noodles it had 1/2 a lobster claw and was chewy like rubber. Server was nice but food took forever to arrive and wasn't hot. Curious to try won't be back. read more

Very poor service. Thursday evening, 4:30, was busy, but still several empty tables. It took quite a while for the waitress to visit our table. We had a hard time talking because the music was extremely loud. When the main meal plates arrived, only 3 of the 4 were brought. We waited patiently thinking the 4th would be brough out. However, when the 3 were almost halfway through we selected the "call server" button. It took about 5 minutes or so for someone to respond. They asked what we needed. We pointed to the empty spot and said we would like this meal to also be brought out. No apology, just what did you have. Well, that should have been on the table order in the computer. They should have said, we will bring it right out, but it was several minutes and long enough for the next event to happen before the plate was brought out. Unfortunately, during this wait a full drink glass was accidentally knocked over. We quickly used available napkins to soak it up. Our waitress came by and said, Oh I'll get some towels. That was the last we saw of her. There was no offer to refill the drink glass or even an inquiry if we wanted it refilled. No one came out for probably 10 minutes or more to wipe up the floor. But before they did, the 4th plate was brought out. At that time, we had to ask for replacement napkins, and some were brought out. Still, there was no offer or inquiry as to refilling the drink. Just drop the napkins off and went away, no further conversation. At that point, we pressed the "call server" button once again in order to ask for drink refills. When the person showed up, we said to never mind as all of us were now done with the meals and a drink was not needed. We were asked, don't you want some water (a little late for that offer, yes?). I will say the manager was nice enough to not charge for the late plate (it was about a dozen boneless wings), it was appreciated. However, it did not make up for the lousy service and meal conditions. Loud music, hard to talk, late meals, no drinks, no timely cleanup and no waitress. Oh, after we paid and got up to leave, the waitress who we had not seen since the spill, walked up to us and said, oh I see you are leaving, hope all was ok, have a nice evening. What?? The waitress had no idea what took place and we never saw a single waiter or waitress at our table that entire mealtime, except when we called for one, then it took a long time. Will we go there again, maybe, but not if the next time we get the same horrible service as we received this time. Opinion-offering to not charge for a cheap plate, while nice gesture, really did not offset the bad dining conditions. read more

We usually love YH house, I was disappointed with my chicken salad/cobb The chicken was cold and didn't taste fresh.... The burger we ordered was med cooked not med-rare what we ordered Our server was busy and didn't make it easy to complain about our disappointment. We were hungry and just needed to eat and get home, we probably won't go back and try again for another 2 months .... Wish I had more photos to share but I was to bush enjoying my meal and drinks here . I've never been to this location til my husbands birthday this passed oct 9th . We usually go to Long Beach location but decided to come to this side of town . I hate that I don't recall the name of our waiter but she was awesome and had a nice sense of humor . She attended us very well and was on it . Was having such a good time I didn't realize I had received the wrong Philly sandwich but the manager came to Let me know that was The Wrong one not only let me take the one I had home but brought me the correct sandwich I ordered they were very nice and professional. That answer is based off what the Los Angeles County Health Department decides. I was there last night, it was 37* and even with heaters, it was freezing.

I had the cheeseburger with no cheese, sauce, or onion. I'm not a thick patty person, so I thought it was perfect along with the lengthwise pickle slices, so I got pickle in every bite. I'm thankful for another option that provides something for "all" and will definitely make this a go-to.

Date: 4/7/2025 Time: 4:00-4:30 To Yard House Management at AV Mall, My husband and I recently visited your location for a long-overdue day date. The restaurant was clean, and the greeters were helpful--we were told we could sit anywhere in the bar area, which we appreciated. We chose a high-top table near the bar, unaware that it was reserved. This was a genuine mistake. However, the way we were treated by the waitress, Chrissy, was completely unacceptable. She approached us with attitude, immediately asking, "Did you reserve this table?" When we explained that we were told to sit wherever in the bar area, she responded by lecturing and scolding us as if we were children. It was uncalled for, and frankly, humiliating. We apologized and began to move to another spot, but she continued with unnecessary attitude, even mumbling something under her breath. When we asked if our order could be transferred to the bar, she dismissed us rudely and claimed our order hadn't gone through--then walked away like we had personally offended her. It's incredibly disappointing to be treated this way during what was supposed to be a special outing. I rarely go out, let alone drink, so this experience was meant to be something enjoyable and different for us. Instead, it was completely ruined by a staff member whose communication and professionalism were severely lacking. My advice to management: Please provide better training in customer service and professionalism. Chrissy's behavior was not just off-putting--it was disrespectful and damaging to your restaurant's reputation. Guests shouldn't leave feeling like they were a burden just for sitting in the wrong spot. Good employees are hard to find--but keeping the wrong ones will only drive your customers away. read more

Okay so the service we got today was trash, the last time we went to have bottomless mimosas the lady who took care of inside would refill our mimosas when she saw they where empty we never had to ask she was on it, today however we had to keep asking our server for refills he would leave for 5 minutes then come back and ask for the glasses to refill them, then we'd ask for a refill of water he would leave for 5 minutes again walk past us go inside then come and check on us while we waited for our refill of water, then we asked the girl inside doing the bare minimum for a refill and she said "wait for your server" then she comes outside cause we where sitting in the table by the entrance and she says "it's taking forever cause we're short staffed" ok well if she had the slightest amount of common sense she could have helped out her co worker and brought us a glass of water it's not rocket science, also they had 3 "managers" on duty I don't know why it wasn't even busy like that to have so much back up but whatever the 1 manager that was upset we where complaining was the younger one who looks like he should be a football coach but he's a manager at a restaurant, but the other manager who was nice and tried to fix the situation and heard us out was the older gentlemen he was wearing a dark blue polo he was nice trying to help and fix the problem, point is don't expect to much from the younger yard house servers they lack common sense the older servers are more wise and more attentive to you. read more

Justin you are the definition of a bitch ass manager....who went to business school to become a "manager" in the restaurant industry!!!! By far the worst unprofessional douchebag that I have ever witnessed be in command with big boy authority, which doesn't say much. We've been coming to Yardhouse for years and have been treated amazing with the most awesome servers and have gotten to know each and every one of them. And now we will officially never return since Covid released Justin the worst and most disrespectful so called manager with the biggest ego that needs to be checked by corporate. Right there a corporate paid employee with his big boy manager pants on who is incapable of handling any manager responsibility or employee interaction. My husband and I visited last week and were not really fascinated with the service. The place looks amazing both inside and outside. We really enjoy the decorations in the dining area. The restrooms were nice too. The menu look really good too. I was surprised with their wide selection of beers and other drinks. I am sure their happy hour is great but since we dont drink this does not help our review. We ordered the lunch special and a dessert. The food took over 20 minutes to be served even though the place was not busy at the time of our visit. The pizza for this special was of a decent size but the taste of it was just average. My husband tried the crab hoagie which was disappointingly dry and tasteless. The clam chowder that accompanied the sandwich was very rich and tasty, though. We were also a little disappointed with the service which seemed a little bit forced and uninviting. The few times that the waitress came to check on us she gave us a look that made us feel guilty for needing a refill on our drinks, we were expecting a little bit more of a cheerful attitude since the place looks very upbeat. So when it comes to eating out, we go anywhere with deals/coupons something that can give me a little extra. However my girlfriend and I got Truffle fries which just tasted like garlic fries, not truffle... Still really good. I got the appetizer Chicken Nachos and are some of the best nachos I have ever had. Yard House, you know how to make nachos. (I hate when I go somewhere and get nachos and it looks like the cook just sprinkled a but of cheese on top with tomatoes. You guys did the layer method. It's very appreciated. :) My girlfriend got the Swordfish tacos, she was so excited she said she hasn't had swordfish for more than 5 years. She loved them. Our server was extremely friendly and we loved her humor. She stated that she was starving and couldn't wait for her break so she could get some food, when she brought our food to us she said "enjoy your nachos, I had some of yours right before I brought it out, they're delicious" and laughed. On July 26, 2023 that was a Wednesday we went for dinner and let me tell you the hostesses in the front are complete TRASH along with the manager. Their attitudes are shitty no personality. The one TRASH hostess wanted to sit us in the back next to the emergency door we declined and asked about two other tables we passed she stated they belong to someone else we seen no names on the tables. The service and food were wonderful, but the actions of some patrons and the management were horrific. A pretty waitress was groped by a Fire chief. They were sitting right behind us so we were witness to the entire aftermath. Cops were called 5 showed up patting the pervert on the back like a good 'ol boy! He was also drunk and loud. Why this low life was not arrested is beyond me. The cherry on the Cake, the pervert and his firefighters check was comped! I will never spend my money here again. I came to eat here for a friends bday and we were about 20people with a reservation. For one they messed up on the reservation then resolved it but then while being attended we got rude waiters. I asked for water and never got it. We a krdered at the same time and it took such a long time to get a drink. I finally said where can i get up to get water? Im pregnant and was frustrated that i couldnt even get water. The bday girl finally asked for new waiters and when i reasked for water i ended up getting 5 glasses but still no food? 4 friends and myself ended up leaving to Apple bees instead. I had an amazing experience at Yard House thanks to Alice and Emiliano. My family and I stopped in before a movie with only about an hour to spare, not realizing how busy it would be. We were 18th on the waitlist. After sharing our situation, Alice and Emiliano immediately jumped into action. They made sure we were seated, taken care of, and out the door right on time to catch our movie. Definitely go for their burgers and shakes (my recommendation is the Black & White); the fries are so-so. The line can be long so beat the lunch hour rush or go later in the evening (it's opened until 11pm). They have an express line for simpler orders (i.e. beer, floats, custard, etc.) but unfortunately the shakes doesn't fall into the category. Our waitress came over almost immediately and, without even a hello or introduction, simply asked what we wanted to drink. We also ordered a BBQ chicken salad, and the waitress asked what kind of dressing we wanted on it. I thought that was a little odd because I've always known salads like that to come already tossed or prepared with the dressing. When I questioned it, she acted like I was the weird one for asking. Throughout the meal, the service continued to feel rushed and impersonal. Even the person who brought out our food basically just dropped it on the table and walked away. The food was good, but when you're going out for a nice dinner--especially on a date--you expect the service and overall experience to match. Unfortunately, that just wasn't the case for us last night.
