The service was horrible.. my friend and I sat down at the bar. There was no greeting nor a welcoming from Ariana. She starting cleaning the bar area without saying a word to us.. places the menus down n said you guys know what you want to drink.. we placed our drink orders she brought the drinks n left. After about 30 mins of drinking our drinks not once were we checked on We sat at bar drinking our drinks with all the other patrons were being served n welcomed. I had to waive down Daniel the bartender to ask to order food..food came sat n ate , again not checked on while the patrons to the right n left n all around were served and asked if the needed something else.. not until my friend said something to Daniel were we finally acknowledged n offered service, after the fact of bringing it to his attention. we were pretty much invisible n ignored from all the bartenders that were on staff on 2-20-2022. My husband myself my daughter and her boyfriend all visited the yard house on May 2nd . Our server was Brandon. He had been our server before when I was there about 2 weeks ago. He was fantastic then and he was fantastic last night. He remembered that I ordered a certain dessert. Yesterday was my birthday, and he had that dessert brought over with a candle in it and a Happy Birthday on the plate. Pretty much made my night. I was with Disa D and wanted to comment on her post regarding the nail in the food. YES! This really happened and the restaurant's response was far from acceptable. After 3 tries they never even got the order correct. And who gets a nail in their food? All they said was sorry and they would "investigate" with their vendors. We all understand that weird things can happen but when they do, you expect staff to bend over backwards to make things right. Pretty good for a chain restaurant. It features a big big beer menu that will certainly satisfy everyone in your party And for the non-beer drinkers their margaritas are also good, try the pomegranate one for a refreshing chock full antioxidants (and calories!) drink. But the food menu is surprisingly good. It has many trademark beer foods that go well with drinks. But the food is actually good! The chef at least at this place seems to care for the quality of the food. We have had steaks here and they are better than the crap we were serve at cask and cleaver. The sweet potato fries are to die for. Their cheese dips are great with the chips they come. Their artichoke is amazing. Even their salads are decent. I really like coming here with friends for a good dinner and beer. Service is usually very good, and if not you complain and they make it up to you. Oh and the very reasonably priced. Two words: HAPPY HOUR!!! Not worth coming here during regular hours, the food here is mediocre and for mediocre food you should be entitled to eat it at 50% off with HAPPY HOUR! I've been to Yard House on numerous occasions for HH and must say that they have a great selection of appetizers and an even greater selection of alcoholic beverages, even though I don't consume much of alcoholic beverages. This is my first time in the Riverside location and I have lived in Riverside for over 3 years, so the visit was well over due for me! I have been a regular at the Long Beach location for many years. This location is a lot larger and there appears to be more seating at the bar. We sat at the bar right opposite one of the big screen TVs, so we could watch the Kings game and quite a Kings fan club in there too last Saturday night when they won. Good atmosphere! I had the top sirloin with garlic mashed potatoes, grilled tomato & portabella with house steak sauce and Robert, my date had the Maui Chicken marinated then grilled & served over jasmine or brown rice with stir fried vegetables & macadamia nuts. Both portions were too big for us as we are small portion eaters, my stake was 10oz, I think had 6 oz of it. Both meals were good and service was fast for a Saturday night. read more

Frequent here all the time for happy hour. Half off appetizers cannot be beat. I recommend the Shitake Garlic Noodles, the Chicken Lettuce Wraps, and the Sliders. It should also be noted that this location is great when it comes to accommodating big parties. I'd love to give this place a 4 star review, but incompetent management (management, not servers) and a lame drink policy prevents me from doing so. YARD SALE... That's what it felt like. I've been to this and other locations many times (don't know what happen here). They really dropped the ball. We came on a Sunday afternoon and the service was bad (I mean real bad). The waitress came only twice (take our order and bring us our check). She never came back to see if we needed anything like utensils?? We had to ask the bus boy to bring them and water. My wife told me not to leave a tip but I can't do that. Told her maybe the tip can help the waitress grow a pesonality. She was mean and very, very STUCK UP (yes I said that). Look one person like me won't change anything, this chain continues to grow and grow. Can't really comment on the food, because we were too upset to eat. This location has a nice, friendly group of people working for them, however the service is slow. Ive dined here for lunch a few times, today being my most recent. We were greeted and immediately seated, with options of sitting at a booth, the bar, or the patio. We opted for the patio as it was a nice day out. The Yard House is clean and well presented. Design is somewhat minimalist yet warm and inviting. Booths are nice and large; table spacing good. Air conditioning is excellent so folks sensitive to the cold may want to bring a sweater even if it is blazing outside. They serve a good selection of lunch specials for less than $10 and Happy Hour serves up deals that put a smile on your face. As a vegetarian, I enjoy the "Gardein" selections (fake meats using soy proteins, etc.) which provide an unusually good variety for us compared to many other restaurants. I am working my way around the menu and will update as I find favorites. I've only been to Yard House in Riverside and at Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas. Both were consistent and pleasant--always happy to drop in for a bite. read more

This place is a disappointment. I showed up and was told the wait time was 45 minutes. After an HOUR AND A HALF of waiting, I walk to the front and see what's going on and they tell me I'm "next to be seated" all while two women walk in behind me and were immediately seated. People who were waiting before AND after me, with larger parties, were seated and I was still waiting and we were a party of two. There were a few open tables that weren't occupied with guests, and 4 people sitting at the front desk looking at the floor and looking back at me with a dumb look on their face hoping I didn't notice they were blatantly choosing not to seat me. It's been a while since I felt discriminated against, this DEFINITELY left a bad taste in my mouth. If you're ever in Riverside, California immediately turn your ass back around and get the hell out of there. However, if you're unable to do just that for any reason what-so-ever, go to Yard House to enjoy a few beers and just think of your next plan of action. I've been to this place twice. The first time, well, I can't remember the experience. I know I only had a few beers and some appetizers, but I must have enjoyed myself because I returned a second time. As you walk through this place check out the massive booths! I would be weary of finding some tragic family reunion in those large stylish picnic tables. There's enough room to serve a small army. The only dish I can comment on is the Chicken Breast Sandwich. I ordered this with a side salad instead of fries because I'm not about to gain back the two inches on my waiste that I lost this winter. Anyway, the sandwich was nice. Nothing to do the hand-jive to, but I devoured it. The salad, on the other hand, was a meager side dish. I'm sure the rabbits in the local pet shop are served more than this pitiful side salad. I asked for non-fat dressing and the waitress told me all they had was balsamic vinaigrette. No light dressings. Imagine that. This is Southern California where skinny is the new fat. I couldn't understand why they don't have more of a variety. But then again, the small ejaculate of regular ranch dressing I was given still drowned what little leaves were on the plate. So I guess it didn't much matter. I was going to give this place four stars because I enjoyed my Chicken Sandwich and the beers are off the hook. But then I realized that the meal should have been better to deserve four stars. The beer menu is great. They boast "The Worlds Largest Selection Of Draft Beer" and I cannot dispute that. Kronenbourg (un Kro, as the French say), Stella and Fat Tire are my favorites. I only had two beers because I was meeting a lemonade drinker who was driving and I didn't want to lose control. But I totally can't remember my first random beer I selected. I only know that I enjoyed it. The second beer I had was Fat Tire since I can't seem to find that beer often in NYC. Solidly fine. I'm probably the worst person to review this place because I don't drink and therefore haven't sampled their vast selection of beers, so I'm just commenting on the food. I usually get the angel hair pasta, which has feta, pine nuts, eggplant, and tomatoes. It's decently tasty but nothing to write home about. Last time I went I became more adventurous - Mac & Cheese^2 - hold the meat. Now it may have been lacking because I was missing two of the key ingredients (chicken & bacon) and it was definitely a step up from Kraft Dinner, but I can make a much meaner mac & cheese. The roux (sauce) wasn't smooth enough and baked mac & cheese is so much better. I have been impressed with the service here every time I've been. Friendly and attentive waitstaff. Great, place to go if you want a rude server who for a lack of a better word is B*** and if you want hair in your salad and food on your plate your allergic to after you've warned your server. Decided to go here for lunch, my boyfriend and I were seated right away in the patio ( the patio is the only thing open). A female server came by said, " My name is Ariana/ Adriana ( couldn't understand what she said) can I get you something to drink. No, " Hi, how are you?" Or " Welcome". We politely asked for water while we decided on drinks, saying please and thank you and she just walked away with no response. She came back with our waters and slammed on the table walked away. It took me almost 10 minutes until she finally came back and I asked for a straw. Since, she just slammed the waters and walked away I didn't get a chance. Once, again I said, " thank you" no response. She came back asked, " are you ready?" With an attitude. My boyfriend ordered first an appetizer and his burger . Then I ordered Nashville Chicken sandwich lettuce wrapped with the honey sauce on the side. I asked if there were mustard or pickles inside she stated pickles come on side. I said, I don't even want them on the plate, I'm allergic. She said, " I'll Make sure myself that they aren't on the plate". Instead of the fries I had the caesar salad. I also, ordered a beer, she then said " Do you have ID" in rude manner . Not, can I please see your ID or anything like that she demanded it. Showed her my ID and she asked " is that it?" We said, yes thank you. Someone else brings our appetizer out and announces he has our food and puts one the table. Comes back and slams my beer on the table, so hard that it was an inch from being filled to the top and she still spilled it on the table. Ariana/Adriana our server then comes and just slams two side plates on our table with napkins and walks away. Once, again not a word. Around 25 minutes later I'm facing down taking a bite of cheese curds we had ordered when noticed someone shove a plate in my face. Mind you I was facing down. It was our server Ariana/Adriana she never announce she was there with our food or said, excuse let me place this in front of you. She just shoved the plate in my face and handed it to me since I had the smaller plate in front of me. She then handed the plate my boyfriend instead of setting it down on the table. Asked if there was anything she could get us and boyfriend said no thank You. Once again no repose she just runs away. Once, I noticed there was pickles on my plate and sauce in my lettuce wrapped sandwich. My boyfriend said excuse me and flagged her down after waiting for her to come back out . She comes right over and doesn't say anything just stands there, I told I asked for no sauce, and I told her I didn't want pickles on my plate since I was allergic and she told me she would personally make sure they weren't on there. She did not apologize instead she blame kitchen and said with attitude that she put it on there no pickles. But, why just blame them if you said you would take it upon your self make sure they weren't on the plate and you were the one brought out the food. Anyway, she didn't apologize and just says they'll make me a new one and the manager will be over to our table. I said, okay thank you. Once again no reply at all instead she just snatched the plate from in front of me. At this point I'm very annoyed when the manager comes over with my new food. I explain to him the issue with the server. How she's rude, how she can't be bothered to respond to us when we speak to her. She shoved the plate in my face I even demonstrated what she did with the smaller plate on the table. And how she snatched the other one. Now, my boyfriend is done with lunch and I'm just getting mine again. He said for the issue with the sandwich he would take off the bill and he would talk. To the server asked if we wanted a different I said yes and make sure he gets the gratuity we leave. We get Josh now. He was respect and attentive the way server should be. Unfortunately, I had to ask for the manager now. I found a big black hair in my salad. My boyfriend is bald and I have dark blonde hair.Now, I am livid. I asked who made the salads our previous sever or the kitchen. He apologize said, it was the kitchen and now I'm thinking someone messed with my food and this was done on purpose. Imagine the disgust of taking bite of Your salad and then you mix it around and find a freaking hair. Also, the fact we get someone who can't be bothered, respond to us, show slams things on the table and shoves plates in my face. Followed, by serving me a plate of food with an item, I already told her I'm allergic to. I will never be back this Yard House. If Ariana/ Adriana doesn't want to work.
