We stopped here as a family, while running around our toddler. Knew nothing of this place, but it was in the Indian Springs shopping plaza, where were finishing up Saturday morning errands. Our first impression was that it was a classy sports bar, but they offered so much more... We were initially taken aback that they didn't have any high chairs for small children, and were a bit nervous about keeping our fussy 2-year old in a seat. Hungry & intrigued by the "healthy & organic" menu (and comforted by the extremely welcoming staff), we decided to give it a try. So glad we did!!! Rachelle was an extremely attentive & knowledgeable server. She was well versed with the menu, the ingredients, and gave excellent recommendations. We went here with high hopes, but unfortunately, the service was super slow. We were told the kitchen was backed up, but the restaurant was half empty. We ordered an appetizer but our food came out before the appetizer. They acted like they were being generous by not charging us for the appetizer they never delivered to the table. Our waitress JJ was amazing! She was attentive, welcoming and always had a smile on her face! We made a visit on a Friday evening. There was no wait time, so we were seated right away. The restaurant is pretty spacious with a variety of seating options, and lots of TVs. We ordered bacon cheeseburger and a chicken wrap. The presentation of the food was good, however the chicken wrap lacked flavor and left me wanting more. I look forward to trying other options next time. read more

Service and atmosphere: Our server, Kirsten S., was very friendly, professional, food and drink knowledgeable and made us feel welcome throughout the entire experience. The restaurant is well designed, decorated, clean and inviting. They offer good number of TVs to watch sports too. You can dine inside and outside. Food and drinks: Outstanding in both areas. We are thrilled to have found this organic food eatery. Its farm to table organic certified style is what attracted us the most. Additionally, they use beef tallow here, bye seed oils! The food selection was great and foods ordered were presented well and prepared with care. All dishes were well seasoned and had good flavours. Using flour from Italy for making in-house pizza is worth noting. We didn't try their cocktails but they looked good on the menu. Will give it a go next time. Pricing: $$ - not overpriced at all for the quality of products provided. We will definitely become regular customers at their restaurants. read more

I'd like to start by saying the service here was spectacular. Our server really was perfect. We were a party of 6, and we ordered a LOT, including 4 appetizers, 2 entrees, plus "The Board," in addition to cocktails and desserts. She got every little detail right and was incredibly friendly throughout the evening. The cocktails were excellent, as well. So, why the three stars? The food wasn't great. We had to add salt to EVERYTHING. The best thing on the Board was the sausage... not the steak or chicken or shrimp (and the shrimp were tiny,) because all those proteins were so bland in flavor. The apps were better in flavor than the main courses. I can't really comment on the restaurant's atmosphere, because I didn't make it inside... when I arrived, my party was out on the patio. They said it was impossible to have a conversation inside, because it was so loud. I may return with other friends to try more menu offerings. read more

The salmon filet was cooked to perfection and well seasoned. The quinoa salad was fantastic! I also ordered the black bean burger- which tasted amazing, but due to my diet- I can't have the spice. My family and I went for dinner and had an overall okay experience. The food was good, (get the giant pretzel) and the margaritas were really good. Service was decent but could have been more attentive--our water refills were forgotten, and my salad dressing took a while to arrive. My son's pizza also took longer than expected. While there were a few hiccups, the food and drinks made it a fairly enjoyable visit overall. read more

Service was great. However the Mimosa tower was very misleading. It is advertised as 96oz, however it was clearly not. Wait staff tried to say that there was more champagne down in the stand of the tower, which is not true. When asked about the volume, we were told that the juices count towards the 96oz. We came on a very busy evening, the whole inside was reserved so we were sat in the front patio, but we were never forgotten. Our food came out quickly, it was delicious and hot. Kassie recommended the shrimp tacos and they're a new favorite for us. This location offers a great amount of tables, bar seating and a great TV setup to watch sporting events from every view. The burger is one of my favorite burgers in the Woodlands. We went around 11:30am on a Saturday and their staff to guests ratio seemed fine but our waitress in particular was not the greatest, and when we did get ordered items it appeared other people were bringing it or picking up empty dishes/glasses. My son ordered a Bloody Mary and 20 mins later finally ordered a beer (thinking maybe he'd get it quicker bc the drink hadn't arrived) then they brought them out together...he sent one back and walking out of there paying a over $110 for 3 cheapest on the menu food items and a couple drinks for 3 people (2 off the $5 brunch menus) I was like what the heck did we just pay for?!? Anyway so to the meat of this review, the set up of tables and bar are done well as well as the amount of TVs. We didn't sit outside but it looked cool. My wings were decent; next time if there is one (which may happen due to convenience of their location from our house) next time I would pay the up charge for the beef tallow oil because it wasn't like the waitress explained the difference of picking that over the soy oil, I look it up online and apparently the beef tallow gives it a bit more flavor and/or crunch yet there is an up charge based on my research and reading reviews again not that the waitress even entertained any of these things when I was like IDK what I should choose to as mentioned or discussed so I said I guess whatever, I'm pretty sure the were fried in soy based on the lack of flavor and crispiness. However they were meaty. I got garlic parm and buffalo. I leaned towards the buffalo. My hubby went for the ground beef tacos. There were 2. He was like I know it's like all healthy grass fed meat but Geesh no flavor (by the way we use the no antibiotics hormones ever ground beef at home but never does my family tell me it has no flavor especially on a taco!) I mean what you can't season healthy meat?!? ;-/? Truffle fries were good flavor yet served not hot and not crispy! I asked for a detailed receipt but she never gave it to me... disappointing and not worth the while to ask for anything more at that point so ended up spending the rest of our day at Local Public Eatery in Market Street where the food and service was spot on with the same hefty prices! So there is potential for On the Kirb but only if the kitchen and service team embrace it!!! read more

Visiting from North Carolina and was looking for a place to watch the Panthers game and the Bears game on Saturday. Stumbled across this place and really enjoyed our experience. First of all, huge TVs. Had no issue watching the game, didn't even have to be the weird couple sitting on the same side of the table to watch. Kristin was our server and she was amazing. I can't make a decision for the life of me, one because that's just who I am and two because all the pizzas looked so good. She told me I could get half and half, so we did meat on the Kirb and margherita. Then I wanted some fries to snack on and Kristin suggested getting them fried in beef tallow. *chefs kiss* if it helps the girlies with skin care it'll be good in my tummy, too. And I just know the crunchy granola demographic be lovin' that. 10/10 will return when we're back in town. read more

We came in for Sunday brunch last weekend and loved it. Our waiter, Richie Ricardo, was awesome! Super helpful, gave great recommendations, answered all our questions, and checked on us just the right amount. Attentive without being overbearing, which is always appreciated. My husband had the Cowboy Skillet and I ordered the Chilaquiles Skillet. Both came out hot, fresh, and delicious. Everything tasted great. And you really can't beat $5 mimosas. We've been so excited to try On The Kirb since it opened. The atmosphere seemed great when we walked in, but we didn't get the chance to enjoy it. We brought our one year old with us and were told there are no high chairs or booster seats available. When we responded with "really??" the hostess reminded us "well it is a sports bar." Of course we were aware of that; however, this isn't a 21 and up only establishment, it's located in a heavily family dominated area, and I've heard that it touts itself as 'family friendly.' If that's the case, where is the equipment to support that? Other sports bars in the area such as Southern Ice Co., Woodson's, and Tailgators seem to understand what 'family friendly' truly means and provides a seat for everyone big and small. I wish them the best, but it seems I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

The tables were so close together, I could not hear what anyone two feet from me was say as the talking, music and ambience was so loud my watch kept telling me you are over 95 decibels and I thought well that is really conservative as it was crazy loud in there.
