    LOL! IYKYK

Yasu Guys was, honestly, the 3rd attempt this day for a Greek/Mediterranean lunch. But sometimes pleasant surprises are waiting for you at THE NEXT SFV strip mall. lol My friend and I immediately felt the welcome hospitality of this cute, friendly, traditional Greek spot when we walked in and received a welcoming 'Yasu!' from the owner. We set to work with the menu, both wanting something on the light side, but protein is always a MUST. Not seeing an "Add a protein" option, we simply asked and were told 5oz of the marinated chicken could be added, but the presentation may not be perfect. Since many people had been requesting this, a solution on the menu would be added soon. We appreciated the attention to detail of presentation, but it's a salad. I figured a piece of grilled chicken would be added to the top and a day called. When our salads arrived, we were again asked how we felt, because he wanted to make sure we were happy with how it looked as well as tasted. Very considerate and we were pleased. It wasn't just a piece of grilled chicken it was about 5oz of slowed, simmered in Greek herbs, chunks of delicious chicken on top of an already delicious traditional Greek salad. Perfect for this hot Valley day! A traditional Greek salad is chopped with greens with red onion, tomato, feta, Persian cucumbers and tossed with olive oil, lemon juice and seasoning. The additional stewed chicken paired nicely and satisfied us completely. As we noshed, gabbed and lingered over lunch, MANY orders were be picked up and many customers were smiling and joining in conversations and laughter. THIS is a great neighborhood eatery. Both my friend and I bookmarked Yasu for a future lunch, but next time it will be the first stop. Cheers! "CC"

First time here, really good food tried 1 chicken and 1 beef gyro, really delicious, my wife said its very similar to Greece and taste really good. The lady was really nice had our food in and out in under 10 mins . Really clean restaurant and music playing, plenty of parking outside .

The new viral crunch wrap is worth the hype!! everyone has been talking about this. The loaded pita chips were excellent, and they have a never-before-seen Baklava Cheesecake Milkshake (the first of its kind, made with real baklava cheesecake). Ed is doing it different over here and the team makes the visit feel personal.

Friendly greeting when you arrive. I ordered the beer n lamb gyro and it was a hearty sandwich. It comes with fries but I mistakenly ordered some more. That sandwich is so meaty and good you don't need any extras. A few tables inside but seems more like a to go. It's made fresh so I suggest to call in your order.

I'm so happy I decided to visit yasu guys, I had the most amazing experience! If you love Greek flavors but also appreciate a modern, creative spin on classic dishes, this place absolutely delivers in all aspects! I ordered their Chicken Crunch Wrap, which is their take on a Greek gyro but reimagined in a way that feels fresh and fun. Think traditional gyro flavors like seasoned chicken, creamy sauces, crisp veggies, but wrapped up in a perfectly toasted, golden, handheld format that gives you that satisfying crunch in every bite. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, not dry at all. The balance of textures is what really got me. The tender meat, cool and creamy elements, and that crisp outer layer that ties everything together. It's comforting but also feels elevated at the same time. What I loved most is that it didn't feel greasy or heavy. Sometimes wraps like this can feel overwhelming, but this was flavorful without being too much. Every bite had that herby, savory Greek profile, but with a modern street-food twist that makes it super craveable. And the baklava cheesecake! I'm not exaggerating when I say this might be one of the best cheesecakes I've had in a long time. It's such a genius concept that combines the rich, creamy texture of cheesecake with the sweet, nutty, honeyed layers of baklava. The cheesecake itself was smooth and decadent, not overly sweet, and the baklava elements added that perfect crunch and warmth from the spices and nuts. The service was beyond great, seriously feels like I stepped into a place where they treat everyone like family. Super hospitable and welcoming. There were some regulars there when I visited and they talk amongst themselves like if they're family as well. I loved the vibes here! Overall, Yasu Guys really impressed me. It feels like a spot that understands traditional flavors but isn't afraid to experiment and modernize them. The food is well-executed, and genuinely exciting. If you're into Greek food but want something a little different from the usual gyro plate, this is your place. Already planning my next visit! Thank you for having me.

This place is absolutely worth the hype, phenomenal from start to finish. We ordered both the chicken Crunchwrap and the beef/lamb Crunchwrap, and each one was incredible in its own way. Perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and packed with that satisfying crunch in every bite. Now let's talk about the garlic parm fries... I'm going to need those every single time. Thick-cut, perfectly crisp, and absolutely drenched in sauce the flavor was insane. Truly next level. You can genuinely feel the love and intention the owner has poured into this business. That kind of passion shows up in the food. I can't wait to see more locations open up. And one small wish for the future, a tostada shawarma bowl on the menu would be a game changer

Having recently went to Greece, the hunt is on for some authentic Greek cuisine in LA I already love the Crunchwrap at Taco Bell (haha) so I was intrigued by their spin on it. But mostly my focus was getting my hands on some gyros and the delicious dessert bougatsa. The beef/lamb gyro was filling and the pita was nice and soft. It was loaded with meat! The tzatziki sauce was very good and had bits of feta in it. The fries were on the side which allowed them to remain crispy. The garlic parm chicken gyro was also good and was juicy. I wish they had the pork gyro like Greece but they said sometimes they will have pork as a special. I really enjoyed the Crunchwrap as well. The tostada inside remained crunchy and loaded with the garlic parm chicken is YUM. Now for the bougatsa, this is a yummy philo dough pastry stuffed with custard and sprinkled with powdered sugar and cinnamon. If you like churros this should be right up your alley. They get the dough shipped from Greece and bake on the spot when ordered. It's definitely worth a try! Yes they are in a tiny strip mall with like two smoke shops and a liquor store but no worries, the food is good!

This place was/has been blowing up on the socials, so I dropped by and ordered the Greek crunch wrap supreme. It was mega-ok. I think the strength of this place could be their Greek food and roasted meats, so why push this item that is subpar Mexican carb vehicles? They didn't select a tostada that could withstand the steam bath that is their tortilla pocket, and the flour tortilla is nothing the write home about. It made me feel misled that they even offered this bastardization of a food item to me. They're worth a try, but don't go out of your way, like I did. And please, just stick to the Greek food.

    Beautiful place! Love the vibes!

I was starving after a long dance practice, looking for a healthy place to eat something quick, but the something quick turned into a wonderful sit down experience at Yasu's! The food was fresh and so delicious! They have an incredible baklava cheesecake dessert that is to die for and the customer service is amazing, the location is clean and up kept and the owner is incredibly welcoming and friendly. It was such a great experience, please stop by here for great food and a great time! I would've taken a picture of the food but I inhaled it before I could, so here's a pic of the empty bowls but a happy happy tummy this place felt like home

Middle eastern food can be repetitive, so I was excited when I saw this place online and it had positive reviews. I was interested in trying the Beef and Lamb Crunchwrap, but reviews mentioned that it wasn't a lot of food for the price and I was feeling hungry. Instead, I went with the Beef and Lamb rice plate. My rice was drenched in butter to the point where it seeped through the box and I started to feel nauseous while eating. On top of that, the to go box was shallow and barely had any chipotle aioli on top. If you're cool with paying $20+ tax for a middle eastern fusion snack, I would give this place a shot. For me, the portions and price point don't entice me enough to try this place a second time.

This place rules. Yes it's a little pricey but so is all good Greek food. I accept my fate. The guy that works there is very charming and likable. and maybe super handsome but who cares we are here to discuss food. The greecie fries(great name) are bomb as hell with the garlic whatever on it. The Crunchwrap was really good too, I think the banana peppers really add to it. The place is super cute and I love the mirrors on the wall. When you're sitting on the left they frame restaurant and bald guy very well. I'll attach a photo. Overall no complaints it's bomb and I will be back. Simple as that.

First time trying. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall. Walking in, it is still pretty spartan, as they are just getting this location going. The guys working were friendly and helpful. They were also apologetic as they were out of the beef and lamb gyros meat. I ended up getting the chicken gyro crunch wrap. I also got the Garlic Parm loaded fries. My wife got the Classic Chicken Rice Plate. My wrap was good, but they use a tortilla, which was not substantial enough. My wrap was a bit hard to eat as it was falling apart. Probably because everything was very juicy. It was very good from a taste perspective. The fries were also really good. My wife's plate was good, but she would have preferred the beef, rather than the chicken plate. The owner was very gracious and gave us a complementary cheesecake slice. That was really good. Overall, they are just starting this location and are still working out the kinks, but based on the service and what we had this place will do very well.

This place is amazing. Me and my boyfriend decided to try this new place in the area. They are hidden in the very corner of the plaza. We walk in and it's clean and spacious. The cashier was very nice and helpful. Food was made in about 10 minutes and the brought it out to our table. It was delicious! Beats Taco Bell Crunch Wrap for sure! It was light and fresh yet still filling. The owner was kind enough to come out and explain to us that they use all fresh ingredients, no seed oils or stuff like that. It definitely shows and taste. We will definitely be coming back very soon.

I placed an online order through their website, and it quoted about a 25-minute prep time with a ready window around 2:56 -3:06 PM. I planned accordingly and even arrived earlier so I could pick it up fresh and avoid waiting. However, just five minutes after placing the order, I received a text saying it was already ready. That immediately raised a red flag, because if you're paying $13+ for a double burger, you expect it to be made closer to your arrival time, not immediately. When I arrived, the burger was already cold. When I brought this up, the employee I spoke with repeatedly said "it's not my fault" and pointed to someone else, instead of taking any ownership or even acknowledging the issue. It was a really poor way to handle a simple customer concern. Eventually, after some back and forth, the burger was remade, but I had to wait another 10-15 minutes. And ironically, it took longer to make it this time than it did after I placed the online order. But then now I wa stuck waiting defeating the whole purpose of ordering ahead. A manager eventually came over and was polite, but by that point the experience had already been frustrating. They also threw away the original burger instead of offering to let me keep it, which felt wasteful. On top of that, when I asked for a couple cups of water for my daughter, I was told I'd need to purchase a bottle, which felt pretty tone-deaf given the situation and didn't even think to offer me any anything for the misunderstanding and having to wait extra time now... The bigger issue here is the lack of coordination and communication. If you're going to quote customers a pickup time, especially for hot food, the order should be made accordingly--not immediately after it's placed. Otherwise, you're guaranteeing that the food won't be fresh when the customer arrives. Between the timing issue, the lack of ownership from staff, and the overall handling of the situation, this was a disappointing experience. I usually like the food, but the service and process today really need improvement.

The vegan al pastor had chunks of pineapple and it is seasoned and cooked to taste just like the meat version. The texture is just a little bit different but it does resemble a lot like meat. The vegan pastor also tastes just like the meat version, just less "smoky" and the texture is softer. The rice is flavorful and fluffy. The beans are seasoned just enough to have flavor but not compete with the other dishes. The creamy chipotle sauce was perfect topping the rice and beans. I do like vegan food but the only reference I had with Mexican vegan are places that try to add fake cheese and lean heavily on beans and rice. This business shows that you can still have all the flavors and not rely on cheese and meat. They focus on the flavors and not what would make non-vegans feel comfortable. Initially, I was going to give this first time experience a 4 star review so that it encourages me to go check out the restaurant so I can add the service and the ambiance. However, I was lucky enough to bring home leftovers and as I was eating it, the food tastes better. Had to add the extra star!

This is a place that I think would best serve being able to walk to or get things to go to enjoy elsewhere. However, if you were to not dine in, you wouldn't be able to experience the very friendly and helpful staff. They're all running around taking orders, prepping parts of meals, and calling out finished orders, yet they do it with such a seamless rhythm and ease. Even when they were in full blown dinner rush mode the moved with a calmness yet urgency that I wish other restaurant employees could study. The customer service was fantastic. the interior is small, but fun. It's got the feel of a 50s diner with a mural of classic Hollywood figures. Booths and tables are a bit small, but clean and look well maintained. In all, it's a great, inviting place to eat. The food was very good. It's your classic diner fair. Nothing special but they offer everything from breakfast to sandwiches to burgers and Mexican food. Breakfast is also served all day (except for waffles much to my kids' disappointment isn't served during dinner hours). My kids tried the cheeseburger and loved it. My youngest devoured his hot dog and I really enjoyed my Ruben sandwich (though I wish I could've had it on rye bread). Honestly, my only real complaint about the food was that the fries were somewhat bland and everything felt about a dollar or two too much. Though, I will admit that is just the state of restaurants these days. I am no knocking them for that, just pointing out that this isn't really going to be a cheap meal. A tasty & filling one for sure, but not cheap. In all, you can tell why Beeps has been around for decades. It knows what it is and does it well. This is a place that can become a family staple restaurant. And with their huge menu, it would take a long time to get through everything which I love.

I walked in at 9:58pm the other day to pick up my mobile order that I ordered ahead so it can be a quick and easy pick up and be on my way. People were still dining inside so why would it be a problem that I walk in at that time. This young woman immediately instead of asking what I need help with or even just greeting just goes "we're closed we're closed" essentially telling me to GTFO. That is insane. I understand some people might come in and give the workers a hard time but wow that was just unbelievable. The cherry on top was that i STILL had to wait til 10:05 to get my food brought out to me when it was marked ready for pick up at 9:55. Someone needs to coach that young lady to be respectful to those who haven't disrespected you yet. If i'd come in guns blazing causing a ruckus sure. All i did was walk in and say i'm picking up my order. Didn't see her name tag but she walked out a minute after to what seems to go home so if you're already clocked off and going home, maybe keep your mouth shut and let the other employees handle customers. Unbelievably disrespectful.
