The bathrooms are tucked away in the very back of the restaurant and were tidy and clean with a nice design. The food was truly delicious. The bao duo was a great starter. We got one with pork, the other chicken. I appreciated that the flavor profiles of each were so different! We also tried the umami rice bowl... perfect seasoning and portion for an app. For ramen I had the truffle shoyu and husband had a spicy tonkotsu. We both added extra protein (pork) because most ramen places play around with the meat portion LOL. But the noodles, the egg, and all the accoutrements were texturally excellent. SO GOOD. They have a few beers on tap, a decent cocktail menu and wine. I grabbed a SauviB and hubs had a beer. It was the perfect balance to all the delicious umami flavors we experienced. On paper, it sounds like a lot going on. In the bowl, everything just works. Every element was executed perfectly. The chew of the noodles, the crunch of the bamboo, the gooey soft-boiled egg, the tenderness of the pork belly--it's all there. And pairing the chashu with the ground pork? Next level. You get two completely different textures and flavors from the pork, and somehow they complement each other perfectly. The broth has that richness you want from a good bowl of ramen without needing to rely on a bunch of extras to make it interesting. The chili oil adds just enough to bring everything together.
