The bar is low for an airport so I'm not going to 1 or 2 stars, but, this place really found a way to set higher expectations and duck below them They have a large sign that says "Order Here" sign, and under are screens to order from. But, neither work. So I waited, and was told sit down only... At an airport where not waiting at your gate means your plane can run off to another gate and you miss it. Ok sit down only, and they give you... Plastic utensils and a soup in a paper bowl. If you just let me walk away with it and changed the restaurant name to "Street Gravy" this would have been fine

I'll start with the good: shrimp and grits were excellent. There was a good amount and the flavors were wonderful. I ordered Vieux carré cocktail and was shocked when the bill came and it was $25. Prices for the drinks were not listed which should have been a sign. Tito's Bloody Mary wasn't much better at $22. My friend ordered a shrimp Poboy and it was pretty lackluster. For $22 it was on the smaller side. Not enough lettuce, tomato, or mayo on it either. After waiting 45 minutes to get our food we just wanted to eat and be done. Two drinks, a Po Boy and an order of shrimp and grits came to $108 with tip. Ouch. I know it's an airport and they have a captive audience but next time I'll pack my own snacks and smuggle my own booze through security (kidding on the last part...maybe).

First the to go keyosk didn't work and said you had to dine in to order food. So we sat at the bar. No water was offered. The whole time while she had a cup to her face eating seeds. Overpriced airport food with the same quality. Not worth it but what can you do in an airport early in am. It's the airport ‍.

If you're flying out of or into the New Orleans International Airport check out this spot! Rarely do I eat breakfast in the airport before catching an early morning flight. Today my girlfriend and I arrived early and decided to have breakfast. She ordered and enjoyed the Shrimp & Grits. They were served piping hot along with buttered and toasted French Bread. We both enjoyed mimosas. She raved about the creaminess of the grits and excellent flavor of the Monica Sauce and shrimp. The service was good overall. I chose to rate this restaurant a four star because there are no vegan or vegetarian options at all other than the Shrimp & Grits. They offer bacon and pork sausages only. I'm suggesting they add turkey bacon or sausage as well. I also enjoy real plates, bowls, and cutlery when I'm dining in. It's very clean and spacious so definitely worth checking out

Our last meal in New Orleans and our last time to eat some delicious food. I missed out on getting the fried shrimp Po'Boy. It was delicious, just as I imagined it to be. The bread was soft and the shrimp were crispy and tender. My husband got the crawfish Mac and cheese. It was a bit richer than expected, yet still delicious. I'm glad we had one more opportunity to have some more New Orleans food before returning home.

Food was good, service was lacking. Our server was certainly not enjoying her job today. She was busy, but put no effort in to acknowledging new customers or any pep in her step to move faster with the busy environment. I waited 20 minutes just to get my drink, and had my food before my drink.

Excellent fresh food and quick frindly service! We stopped at Ye Olde College Inn in November 2023 to grab a quick dinner before our flight home. Despite so many negative reviews our experience was excellent. We were sited right away and our waitress Denise was very friendly and attentive. The drinks and food were served fast which was important as we didn't have much time. The food was surprisingly delicious for what seemed to be just an average airport eatery. We got Crawfish Mac & Cheese, Slow Roasted Beef Po'Boy, and grits on the side. All were excellent and tasted great and fresh. The portions were generous. Denise was checking on us for drinks refills and she brought extra butter for grits and even some butter substitute though we didn't ask for it. It felt she really cared for us to enjoy the meal, relax, and be comfortable. And we were:) Thank you! We highly recommend this place if you're in that terminal and looking for good food with quick service.

This looked like it could be a decent spot for food at the airport. There were plenty of seats and it was clean. Service can be a little slow between ordering and receiving the food. If you're in a rush before your flight, I wouldn't recommend. Waited 20 mins to get the check and it wasn't busy. The fried shrimp Po'Boy was loaded shrimp. It overall tasted okay, I am not sure what to expect and didn't have a chance to grab one in the city. The price doesn't seem outrageous for the airport for the amount of food you get.

In the restaurant business, we all have a switch: once the doors open, it flips. Until then, you're seeing people exactly as they are. This team is genuine. Hands down. Yes, I know, I'm technically here for a king cake. Standing in line for a king cake from a famous fried chicken company almost feels satirical. But watching the entire team sit down together for a meal an hour before service told me everything I needed to know about the leadership and the values of this company. People matter here. You can see why the sandwiches are as good as they are. You can feel why the king cake is worth the wait. This team operates like a family; kind to one another, intentional, and connected. The food is made with care because the people are cared for. I'm not here to review the food (which is phenomenal) or the king cake. I'm here to review the brand. This is the kind of business we should be proud to support as a community. Keep it up.

This is an extremely casual place, that is both a seafood market and restaurant. I chose to lunch in. The service is friendly and familiar. I felt just as welcomed as the regulars. The menu is full of tempting selections, but knew a few things I wanted. I started off with a cup of seafood gumbo. After the first bite, I regretted not getting a bowl! Next time! It was rich and flavorful, and was clearly not rushed. Next, I also tried the chicken and andouille gumbo. Also excellent, but just slightly shy of the seafood version. The main portion of the meal was what I came for: the crawfish boil. I asked for spicy, and was informed there was only "just right," and they were correct. Initially, I was surprised that the dish came out warm, but not hot, but that, too, was just right. Oh, and the price! Usually, when you see "market price," you expect to lighten your wallet a bit, but in this case, that meant $5.99 for pound. It's crawfish season, I'm told, but still.... I'm used to paying a lot more. The decor is vintage jazz festival posters. Also, since this Women's History Month, the place is women-owned

This restaurant is located in a great location. In a large shopping center. So parking is not an issue. They have plenty of parking that surrounds them. They have bunch of handicapped parking spots in the front with ramp on the right side. They do have a few steps in front for easy access. As you walk in, you are greeted by the staff. They mention that someone will be with us shortly. We went on a Sunday before it got crowded. They said we lucked out. They usually get busy when local churches get out. We quickly paid for our table and advised us we welcome to sit anywhere we like. They said they offer many discounts available. Please ask before paying. We sat at a table near the front of the restaurant and easy access to the buffet. They mainly have large tables with hard wood seats and no padding. The waitress quickly took our drink order. Started out with an Arnold Palmer. Rare that they offer that. I don't know so far that another restaurant that offers this. And an ice water. She mentioned that they offer a small selection of beer? We declined. (Drink responsibly) The first plate was sample plate to get my lay of the land. Unfortunately my first plate was full. I noticed that they offer gumbo. So I had to come back for another plate. No offense, the cup was not enough. I was surprised that they served fried swai not catfish. The cornbread was delicious! Usually they are dry at most places. Maybe they been sitting out so long they dry out. This is not the case with them. The gumbo was seasoned just right. It is only chicken and sausage gumbo. Not seafood. Usually you can tell when it is freshly made. To me, it not only look good but taste great! Unfortunately they did not have ice box cake available. Few of the reviews mentioned to definitely grab a piece. However, they did have freshly made bread pudding and chocolate delight. Both were delicious! I could go on about the food. I digress. They offer free Wi-Fi but is password protected. If you are in the area and want some good food. This place does not disappoint. In my opinion.
