The bar is low for an airport so I'm not going to 1 or 2 stars, but, this place really found a way to set higher expectations and duck below them They have a large sign that says "Order Here" sign, and under are screens to order from. I'll start with the good: shrimp and grits were excellent. There was a good amount and the flavors were wonderful. I ordered Vieux carré cocktail and was shocked when the bill came and it was $25. Prices for the drinks were not listed which should have been a sign. Tito's Bloody Mary wasn't much better at $22. My friend ordered a shrimp Poboy and it was pretty lackluster. For $22 it was on the smaller side. Not enough lettuce, tomato, or mayo on it either. After waiting 45 minutes to get our food we just wanted to eat and be done. Two drinks, a Po Boy and an order of shrimp and grits came to $108 with tip. Ouch. I know it's an airport and they have a captive audience but next time I'll pack my own snacks and smuggle my own booze through security (kidding on the last part...maybe). read more

If you're flying out of or into the New Orleans International Airport check out this spot! Rarely do I eat breakfast in the airport before catching an early morning flight. Today my girlfriend and I arrived early and decided to have breakfast. She ordered and enjoyed the Shrimp & Grits. They were served piping hot along with buttered and toasted French Bread. We both enjoyed mimosas. She raved about the creaminess of the grits and excellent flavor of the Monica Sauce and shrimp. The service was good overall. I chose to rate this restaurant a four star because there are no vegan or vegetarian options at all other than the Shrimp & Grits. They offer bacon and pork sausages only. I'm suggesting they add turkey bacon or sausage as well. I also enjoy real plates, bowls, and cutlery when I'm dining in. It's very clean and spacious so definitely worth checking out read more

Our last meal in New Orleans and our last time to eat some delicious food. I missed out on getting the fried shrimp Po'Boy. It was delicious, just as I imagined it to be. The bread was soft and the shrimp were crispy and tender. My husband got the crawfish Mac and cheese. It was a bit richer than expected, yet still delicious. Airport food is not gourmet, but my fried shrimp po'boy wasn't all bad. The bread wasn't the traditional for the sandwich and was more like a sub role. Rosemary fries were freshly fried and tasty. I ordered at the kiosk and then sat in the restaurant area to eat. I didn't see any table service on that side, but there were menus on the table so maybe it was an option. My issue is that there are no prices on the menu. So I was shocked to learn that my two glasses of cab amounted to $22.50 each, or $45. I'm aware of airport price gouging, but this is next-level robbery. I tried to call customer service, and surprise, the phone tree leads to two numbers that "aren't answering." BS. This is not Napa Valley. This is a crappy airport restaurant. Excellent fresh food and quick frindly service! We stopped at Ye Olde College Inn in November 2023 to grab a quick dinner before our flight home. Despite so many negative reviews our experience was excellent. We were sited right away and our waitress Denise was very friendly and attentive. The drinks and food were served fast which was important as we didn't have much time. The food was surprisingly delicious for what seemed to be just an average airport eatery. We got Crawfish Mac & Cheese, Slow Roasted Beef Po'Boy, and grits on the side. All were excellent and tasted great and fresh. The portions were generous. Denise was checking on us for drinks refills and she brought extra butter for grits and even some butter substitute though we didn't ask for it. It felt she really cared for us to enjoy the meal, relax, and be comfortable. And we were:) Thank you! If you're in a rush before your flight, I wouldn't recommend. Waited 20 mins to get the check and it wasn't busy. The fried shrimp Po'Boy was loaded shrimp. My partner went up to the bar to ask for some ice for my water bottle due to needing cold water for health reasons. He was ignored at first (understandable being as they were busy) but he said the bartender who was counting their drawer around roughly 1145am-12pm on 9/11/25 finally acknowledged him, without speaking grabbed the ice and slammed it on the bar to the point ice flew out of the cup and yelled in his face about next time he needed to buy something. Absolutely unacceptable. We are aware most places require a purchase but usually you're informed of that before hand (which we'd have happily done so) but instead was yelled at like he was incompetent. My wife and I were here before a morning flight, so their menu was limited compared to usual. I ordered a breakfast po' boy, which was pretty good. It's basically just a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on a baguette. The baguette is what made the sandwich good -- it was crisp, well-buttered, and with just the right amount of crunch. My wife ordered shrimp & grits, however, which proved to be the better choice. I was skeptical that shrimp & grits in an airport could be very good at all, but it was phenomenal. So much better than any airport food has business being. The service was quick and friendly. The vibe? Well, about what you would expect from an airport restaurant. After not getting on our first standby flight, we decided to give it a try here in the new terminal. Not bad, but not out of this world either. Bloody Mary tasted like it might have been a canned mix, like what we serve on the plane. Nothing about this place was bad, but nothing jumped out either. The gumbo was really tasty bit wasn't served very hot. The PoBoys had a lot of shrimp on them. We felt the buns they were served on were a bit too large and not very soft. Too hard to hold and eat the PoBoy without the shriimp constantly falling off. But the shrimp was tasty. The fries served with the shrimp were not hot and crispy. Rather, they were barely warm, soft and limp.
