    Seattle souvenir!
    Shantelle S.

January 22, 2025 | Seattle, WA: While walking along the Seattle Waterfront with my brother and sister-in-law, we stumbled upon this store, as the name caught our eye! What a unique & Global gift shop! There seems to be something for everyone here, depending upon what you're interested in! Inside: I was naturally attracted to: beautiful and colorful Native American jewelry, butterfly jewelry, all things w/butterflies, dream catchers, happy sayings, beautiful quill pens, seashells, fun card & board games, journals... The store is a mixed bag of fun items, as well as local/handmade items & souvenirs! We honestly could've stayed in the store even longer, because there was so much to see! Butterfly Necklaces: Love at first sight, as I love butterflies, and a particular one caught my eye! There was a wide range of prices! Josh kindly opened a glass case with a key so that I could see a particular butterfly necklace up close! It was a little over $400, while they also had necklaces starting at $9.99! I did end up buying a butterfly necklace, which I love! Customer Service: Both welcoming & inviting! Top of the line friendly, answered questions easily with a smile! There is also a wide variety of music playing at the store, mainly upbeat while we were exploring the store!! Overall: Unique & fun gift shop with a mix of decor, souvenirs, a bit of a museum, handmade, and local items... And so much more! Be prepared to spend a lot of time in this store, as there's so much to see! Thanks again for super friendly customer service from the moment we stepped in until the moment we left!!

Good place to eat after leaving the shoppe.

Seems like a person lives this shoppe or doesn't. I am one who does not like this place but the rest of my family loves it. Most of the artifacts are creepy. The tribal art is overpriced as are the trinkets.

There are many interesting antiques, seashells, and even some animal specimens. Visitors can shop for souvenirs here -- there's a wide variety of unique and fun items to choose from!

This has been a place i've visited since I was a kid and any time I visit seattle I make sure to stop in. I love the arrangement and assortment of various items from all over, this place offers such unique finds at affordable prices. I got a sweater for $24, two bracelets hand made in ecuador for my best friend and I for $10 total, etc. They also have lab grown gemstone jewelry that's super affordable and pretty! The staff are always super nice too, very cool place with cool staff. Highly recommend:)

This place was a local favorite. We were with some friends that raved about this place. It was fun to look around and staff was super friendly. All kinds of oddities and gifts. It had a Ripley's Believe it or not feeling/museum vibe to it with fortune telling machines and all kinds of cool tchotchkes. They even had shrunken heads and mummies.

The most "touristy spot" in Seattle!! If you are in the area, stop in, and see the oddities, if you aren't in the area, it wouldn't be a must see destination. They do have shrunken heads on display, so not for people who can't handle spooky stuff! 4/5 s because it does have a lot of interesting and weird things, but it wasn't what I expected! I was expecting a more museum, but more a tourist shop. Peep the photos for "Medical Ed!"

This place was definitely interesting. Lots of little things you can buy, but the main attractions are behind glass or up by the ceiling.

If you love all things oddities this shop is for you! They have really cool merchandise, decor, and so many acquired curiosities. Everything here is fairly priced and I loved seeing all the cool stuff they had. My only reason for giving a 4 star and not 5 is the taxidermy bats because there isn't really a way to ethically source bats for taxidermy.

    Yikes!

Yes this place has an assortment of ODD things which makes it a perfect gift shop with more unique things than and typical TSHIRT shop. Great location along the pier with maybe the only Vampire Kill Kit that I've ever seen at a souvenir shop - complete with wooden stake, hammer and holy water. Ready for Halloween?

I am not sure what I would buy here or what the purpose of my visit was, but I could have spent an hour in this little freak shop. My kids just started watching a show Gravity Falls, and if you lkeep this place, its basically the shop from the show, that was based on Boring, Oregon... So they had a blast, I tried to convince them it was all real, some in thought might have been real, and really I ak not sure what most even is!! They had the famous bumper stickers of the fish man thing, and it took me my first visit here to get what the flip those were... so, if you're being a tourist up in here, then make sure to stop into this very unique shop!!

Every child should go here. Still as fun and interesting as when I was a kid over 40 years ago.

One of the smaller Kinokuniya Bookstores that I've visited (it's a corner shop in Uwajimaya grocery…read morestore), but it still gets the job done! Studio Ghibli merch area right upon entering the shop, of course, of course. Decent selection of pens (I got a couple). The second level is dedicated to English-translated manga books as well as anime/video game art books and knick-knacks (sorta all in random assortment.....gotta do some thorough browsing). Since it is a small shop, the aisles are a little cramped. Kinda stuffy too, especially on the second level. Polite staff!

At the time of purchase, I specifically asked about the return policy and was told that returning books would be "no problem" as long as they remained unopened in their original plastic wrapping. When I later returned to exchange or return three of the books 10 days later, I was told that I could not do so because I did not have my receipt. This requirement was never mentioned when I asked about returns. As a longtime member, my purchase is documented through my membership account, so it is disappointing that this record could not be used to verify the transaction. I find this level of customer service unacceptable. If a receipt is required for returns, customers should be clearly informed of that at the time of purchase, especially when they specifically ask about the return policy.
