    Brown sugar ice jelly dessert

Came here for all you can eat skewer focused hotpot. The selection was great. They even have cold dish appetizers, fruit tea, and lobster that's included in the price that sets it apart from other hotpot restaurants. I chose the legend spicy soup base which was great and spicy and is made with 24 different spices! The soup base enhanced the taste of the food with a kick and did not over mask the actual food taste. The brown sugar ice jelly dessert I ordered was very refreshing and had lots of ingredients. It did cost extra $6 which was not part of the ayce price.

Are you ready for an authentic sichuan skewers hot pot experience?! Ye Skewers Hot Pot serves a wide selection of appetizers, including spring rolls, sesame balls, deep-fried buns, cucumber salads, and seasoned fruits. You can choose whatever you want for an incredible price of only $45 per person. The service was fast when we dine in and the ambiance was great! They have great options of their simmering broth from the delicious Homemade Tomato Soup Base, Legend Spicy Soup Base, Tom Yam Kung Soup Base Broth and many more! Was a very nice here with Michael. He was always around to provide additional services, such as bringing more beef and lamb. Overall, everything was clean and fresh, they even gave us a bob! Highly recommend to try!

Unless you really are huge fans of having a hotpot meal, this is a hard recommendation. The price per person can be a little high. It came to over $100 for 2 people. There seem to be 2 different payments that are to be made: 1 for the hotpot soup base and then another for the All You Can Eat food available. I can't be certain if that is standard practice for similar establishments. Service at the restaurant can be improved. After being seated, it was quite a while before I was able to get anyone's attention for us to start our orders with choices of hot pot soup base. I also remember that I had to actively request for the dining bib instead of it being primarily offered by them. There was a good variety of available skewers. Many of the seasoned or marinated meats are tucked away inside the fridge. I do wish there are a little more ready-to-eat food present. I think there were just 2 or 3 available, and the staging for those were not outright and clearly identifiable. Lastly, there was a minor consolation that there was a desert included as part of the meal. But it was still chump change comparing it to the total of the whole bill.

Unique experience + amazing tomato soup base! Came here on a weeknight for dinner with some friends and was quoted a 40 minute wait. After about 5 minutes, they gave us a larger table (fitting 6 people) when we had a party of 4. This was nice as it gave us more room on the table for our food. This is an all you can eat spot, but will have to pay extra per hot pot soup base. The only two meats that are served to you are sliced beef and sliced lamb. All other food items are self serve in their refrigerator area, so you will have to get up from your seat to grab your own food. All their foods are skewered on bamboo sticks. Apps bar consist of fried spring rolls, fried baos, cucumber app, and fruit to name a few. Sauce bar also has all the items you'd need to make the perfect concoction. I got the tomato soup base and it was perfection. Nice and tangy, sweet, and flavourful. I liked that there was a large variety of foods available, I would say, more than most hot pot places. They had mini abalones that were adorable but quite fishy tasting. An entire two refrigerator full of a variety of spiced meats. You can expect to find unique items like aorta, organs and much more. The sliced meats that are served to you were a little tough and not the best cuts compared to other hot pot spots. Overall, the soup base was great. But I was not the biggest fan of the skewered food items. Mostly because I can't understand the concept of skewering each food item, it just seems like a huge waste and definitely not sustainable. I can't even image the amount of work the workers in the back have to go through to skewer each food item. Imagine one piece of fish ball to one stick. Loved that there was unlimited ice cream as dessert. It was a unique experience that is different from your traditional hot pot so definitely worth a try still!

Having passed by this place a few times we did not really know what to expect except skewers hah. We got a seat around 6pm on a Friday night but the place got packed soon after so arrive early if possible. When seated, they will ask if you want a bib/apron (disposable plastic one). From the menu, you can pick your soup base and they have a few non spicy and many spicy options with different spice levels. The spicy pots are more expensive than the non spicy just fyi. All food items are self serve near the front along with a decent sauce bar. Only plates of sliced beef and lamb you have to request from server (unlimited). We ended up with the less spicy beef oil one and the mushroom pork bone (so much coriander!). Overall we found the quality of the meats pretty good and the slices were thick and not too fatty. They had tons of skewer options (meat and veggies) and random vegetables and noodles at the self serve pantry. I liked how the pots are quite high and easy to cook all the skewers (loved the shrimp!). They even had small abalone. There is also a small section of the self serve that has some side dishes and fruits. Keep an eye out because the sesame balls were so good especially when they came fresh from the kitchen! This was a fun meal but I do wonder how many skewer sticks they must go through per day. The broths were good and staff came to refill it when it gets low.

Located in the heart of Asian foods in Scarborough, it is difficult to miss this place and their large establishment. This place is well known in the GTA for their skewers hot pot They have a variety of marinated meats and fresh veggie which operates as a self-serve. Be warned as the spicy soup bases are INDEED spicy . Honestly, the flavours were pretty average and the taste of everything was expected. For some reason there was a TON of beef skewers but not much of any other meats IMO. Taste is still better than Haidilao though That said, their side dishes, especially the liangpi, tasted pretty good. The service was exceptional as the waitress was super attentive to refilling our soup base and replacing plates. . If you've never tried skewers hot pot- this is definitely a place worth trying.

It was my first time here, came on a Friday night with some friends. We didn't have to wait for a table because we had a reservation. I ordered the mushroom soup base, which was pretty good even though it was a little bit spicy. The food selection was good - a lot of variety. The only thing is I find it being on pricey side

Lively atmosphere and unique setting for dining out with groups and friends. We had 10 adults 2 kids and variety of food choices pleased everyone. The tables get pretty crowded and our server, Nini took care to keep us all happy and satisfied. There's a seating time limit during the busiest nights, but not a problem on other nights. I'd like to give 5 stars if we could take home our delicious soup stock with all the yummy flavors. It's worthwhile if you're interested in something a little different. Cheers

Lacked a lot of selection in comparison to other skewer hot pot places. The sauce bar also didn't have fresh peppers, which was unfortunate since it's my go to ingredient when making sauces! After the first round, I felt like there could have been much more to try but it was quite limited. The appetizers section also didn't seem too fresh since the cold noodles were only a pool of chilli oil and parsley during the entire 2 hours I was there. The soup bases were a bit too bland. I got the green pepper one that wasn't as fragrant as expected. The food was refilled periodically, but I was unsure if it was too fresh since the new ones kept getting stacked onto the older ones lying in the fridge. On a better note, the service was friendly but not as attentive as it could have been.

Lovely place. Always full people. Make a reservation. You choose a broth for a certain cost. Then if you want lamb or beef hog let them know. It's all you can eat. So you grab the skewers and veggies you want for your hot pot. They give you 2 hours to eat. Individual hotpot.

Yeskewers Hot Pot is a popular AYCE spot where family, and friends would enjoy It gets fairly busy on a weekend, so I'd suggest coming in around 5:30/6 to secure a spot. The process is very simple, you choose order the broth you'd like, and can adjust the spice level. Afterwards you can visit the station in the back for the skewered ingredients (many choices) youd like to eat, as well as the sauce station. For beef and lamb slices, you'd have to order directly from your server. When everything's done, they have ice cream available to order which makes a great finish for the night If you never visited before, this is the time to go as the weather is getting colder! Came here on a Wednesday night. Not too busy. I would just call ahead if you coming in as a group of 5 or more! Just so you get a guarantee seat! Walked in the door, greeted right away. They also have free chips to eat if there is a wait line. Such a nice gesture! Everyone gets there individual pots. Perfect for groups of friends that want to try different soup base, or people that cant eat spicy. The pot came in a minute. SPEED IS REMARKABLE! I ordered the legend spicy soup base. Medium heat. If you cannot eat spicy, go the lowest chilli level, or just order non spicy soup base and get condiments with spicy chilly and oil. Or what i will also suggest it to remove the chilly peppers, and all those chinese spicy fragrance from the pot. That will reduce the heat too. I love spicy, but i hate when the soup base herbs are all over my food. So i usually just removed them when i think the flavour is good, or if the soup is already super favourable. (This may be offend some people, sorry but i personally dont like the numbing-ness from the chinese herbs) Anywayss!! Lots of selections from the 4 fridges! Go through them and choose what you like best! My go-to veggies are the seaweed knots, broccoli, cabbage, king mushrooms, and frozen tofu. Go to meat are chicken soft bones, spicy beef, pork intestine, beef tongue, and red sausage. They have pork ribs skewers available!! They are delicious, but remember to let it cook a little bit longer, so the soft bone from the pork ribs will become tender and flavourful. Fyi: if you want lamb slices and beef slices, you order them directly to the serves! (Included in the ayce price of course) And of course, I ended my hotpot meal with Instant noodles! Some people think its weird, but i love how flavourful the noodles get by the end of the meal. The noodles soaking up all the spicy "juice" and topping flavours from all the previous toppings putted in. OMGLOB! DELICIOUS! AND DO NOT FORGET TO ORDER THE SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM! Like yea there are fruits to eat, but the soft serve ice cream in a cone is ABSOLUTELY OMG. After a meal of hot, wet, and spicy, something soft and cold is perfect to end the meal. (Personally, i think it taste better than mcdonalds, not as sweet. Not saying mcdonalds are bad. Just saying its less sweet comparing to it) OVERAL 4.5/5! RECOMMEND if you want a different experience from regular chinese hotpot!

We tried both the roasted chili & fermented black bean and Sichuan spicy soup bases, and I liked that they actually had different flavour profiles rather than just tasting like different levels of spice. We also ordered the pork wontons and spicy crispy tofu. The crispy tofu was one of my favourites because it added a nice crunch in between bites of hot pot. For dessert, we tried the banana mystery parfait and camellia oolong parfait. I especially liked the oolong parfait since it's not a flavour you see on dessert menus very often. I also really liked the individual hot pot format. Sometimes I want hot pot without committing to a full AYCE meal, so this was a nice option, especially for the price. All of their waitstaff we interacted with were kind, patient, attentive, and helpful. Their seating layout is also notable-- each individual table was enclosed, it gave a more cozy/private feel rather than loud & overstimulating despite dining during peak hour.
