Such a cute little coffee shop! Everytime we are in Spicewood visiting a friend, we always stop in to Yellow Dog Coffee. They are a locally owned coffee shop with very friendly workers. We love to get the iced Witches' Brew and Toasty Campfire. Give yourself plenty of time because there is usually a line! They always do a great job and the drinks are delicious. Can't wait to come back!

Stopped here with my friend on the way to Llano. Super cute little drive thru coffee shop. We both got iced mocha lattes and a croissant sandwich. Both delicious. Worker who took our order was very friendly. Would definitely recommend trying this spot out!

Great drinks and amazing service! Perfect spot for on the go drinks. Added bonus that you don't have to leave the car in the Texas heat.

I got the iced spiced dirty chai with almond milk (because they were out of oat milk). It's decent but definitely not the best chai I've had. There was no sweetness to it at all, so if you don't like sweet drinks, you may love this. I like a little sweetness. I also got a sausage and pepperjack cheese breakfast sandwich. You can choose between croissant and bagel, so I got an everything bagel. It came with cream cheese too, which I wasn't expecting but it was really good. I also got a "monster" rice crispy bar but I'm saving it for later since I went at breakfast time but it looks delicious. They have tons of syrup flavors, so I think next time I come I'll get a flavored latte. I don't live anywhere near here, but would stop on my way to some of the hiking spots not too far from there (muleshoe, Krause springs, etc.)

My pups and I love this little coffee barn off the highway just outside of Austin. Super cute theme (having two labs myself the yellow dog made my day) and the staff is always super friendly. Our dogs love them since they always get a treat! They have loads of breakfasts options, though the sausage Sammie's are our fav. Coffee wise they have all the flavors and add ons you could hope for, I personally like the toasty campfire half sweet or just a traditional cold brew.

Great spot to get morning coffee and different varieties. I had the Witch's brew (vanilla/honey/cinnamon) cold brew. Very yummy. Got 2 smoothies for the kids, which they loved & shared some yummy mini cinnamon rolls and kolaches. Great service too!

This is just the cutest little coffee shop, run out of a food truck style trailer. My friend who I was visiting is a frequent visitor and I always love joining when I come to visit. They always have an extensive list of different coffees, lattes, and teas to chose from. They also do fresh fruit smoothies too! This trip the smoothie is what I went with, it was a berry smoothie with a banana added. The girls that work there are always the sweetest and always remembers what my friend orders (love how they pay attention to details for the 'regulars'). Always a treat to pop in!

On a whim, my friend and I who were road tripping with my dog stopped by the coffee stall for some after lunch rejuvenation. The girl working at the stand was SO NICE!!!!! She had a fantastic personality and she gave my sweet puppy a treat for the drive. The wait wasn't long at all, and there were alternative milk options such as almond, coconut, and oat for my vegan friend. She ordered the hot chai latte, and I was recommended the Madagascar vanilla iced latte. LITERALLY THE BEST COFFEE WE HAVE EVER HAD, AND I USED TO BE A BARISTA.

I love this place! Everything I've tried is delicious & the staff is so nice! Always quick & efficient. It quickly became my go to coffee shop out here.

Adorable and a huge selection of different versions of chai. Drive thru is easy. Wish I could park and work... this place needs a store front! And the coffee is delicious!

Stopped by this little spot and was so happy I did. The latte was wonderful and best of all, I got my dog her first puppicino! Super sweet worker who was just as excited as I was to give it to her.

Amazing. This was my first time here after a local who frequently visits told us it was the best coffee around. I've passed the location but never stopped, probably because I was skeptical. I asked the ladies to make me something they liked or that was popular. I ended up with the honey bear latte, and my husband ordered the Mexican Almond drink. I can't describe how perfect my drink is. I'll be skipping the drive to Starbucks. Also, we bought 6 Kolache's and a bag of their mini pecan pies that my husband and I ate without the kids

I have two kids that frequently interrupt my sleep, and I stay up too late surfing the web and playing video games. I yawn frequently. Coffee is very important to me. Based on financial audits performed by my concerned wife on my coffee drinking habit, I spend somewhere in the neighborhood of $150-$200 a month on coffee. That equates to approximately $2,000 per year, which is about the per capita GDP of Bangladesh. Now that I have established some minimum credibility in the area of coffee-consumption, allow me to state some opinions. Cuvee Coffee is not only clearly the best coffee roaster in the Austin area. Cuvee coffee is one of greatest craft coffee roasters in Texas, the United States, or, perhaps, the world. The espresso pulled from Cuvee beans is orders of magnitude better than just about anything else out there. Basically, the coffee shops that serve Cuvee have bad ass drinks while the competition begins to taste undrinkable in comparison. If you have any doubt, go to Starbucks and order a simple espresso-first drink like a double macchiato. Then, go to a Cuvee-based shop (like Caffe Medici, Patika, Caffe Yolly, or Houndstooth) and order the same thing. Cuvee has a great thing brewing in our backyard, and I enthusiastically throw my meaningless five stars to them for enriching and elevating the beverage that is so important to me.

From a devoted drinker who has tried numerous local, state and national roasters' best blends and…read moresingle origins: Cuvee is outstanding coffee. Chris S.'s review is right on the mark in several regards. Cuvee may well be among the very top coffees I have ever tasted, with the exception of Stumptown. And just as Chris S. pointed out, try a Starbucks drink. And then try a coffeehouse that serves Cuvee. My girlfriend did. She used to think that coffee was an acquired taste until I introduced her to amazing coffees like Brown, Cuvee, and Stumptown. Now, she just cannot get herself to drink a Starbucks latte. Coffee is dynamic. There is much that goes into making your cup of coffee good. A lot of it is in your hands, such as selecting the best bean for the brewing method you have, brewing with proper technique, and using good quality water. That which is not in your hands is the quality of bean and roasting technique. Cuvee is constantly trying new beans, tweaking their roasting techniques, and maximizing the goodness of the bean and farmer-roaster alliance. I finally made the pilgrimmage to Cuvee on a recent relaxing day. I talked with Hannah, the receptionist, and scheduled a visit on a Friday. Typically, tours are given several times a week, leaving Fridays for staff-meetings. I got lucky because Cuvee is soon changing their tours to once a month with periodic cuppings, or coffee tastings. I had the pleasure of talking with one of Cuvee's two coffee roasters, Logan. For almost an hour, he talked me through the life of the beans: how they are received, roasted, and bagged. He answered every question that I had, even the stupid ones, with courtesy and genuine passion. After discussing the throughput process with Logan, I was taken to Lorenzo, master barista. He talked me through the complex process of brewing and all the factors involved. I was lucky enough to have a comparison cupping in addition to Lorenzo's thoughtful short class. Mike McKim and his professional staff are passionate, focused, courteous, and welcoming. I cannot disagree more with the single one-star review that I noticed by Juan P. The staff at Cuvee were not at all snobby and Cuvee coffee is superior to Katz Coffee. Try the Meritage blend. It's my favorite, next to Stumptown's Hair Bender. If you have a Chemex, try the amazing Laguna Las Ranas.

My small latte, with only 1/2 shot of espresso was $5.95 that I purchased one week ago. Yes, the prices have steadily increased over the year, but I accepted that due to inflation and competition. What I cannot tolerate is that in one week my drink went from $5.95 to $7.33. I wish my salary followed Winston's unbelievable increase in one week. P.S. Winston's reached out to me and following up on several emails, I now understand why the latte charge had increased. Apparently, I hit the button for tip, not realizing it, and when I questioned the server, she just said that was the price of the latte. All is good. I will get my latte from Winston's again.

This may officially be the best kids restaurant/coffee/bar spot in all of Austin. I'm talking playground, swing, climbing gym, massive green yard, and plenty of shaded tables. To top it all off, there is an additional bar right along side. It's brand new, so they are still working out the kinks/trying to expand. A few things to call out. 1. They only have the one kitchen, so it can get pretty backed up. 2. No additional bathrooms, but they are working with the city to allow it. 3. Parking can get tight, curious how they will try and tackle this.
