Stopped by this morning, coming through I was happy to find this cute little spot! I got the aloha coldbrew, but just made into a latte (milk and espresso instead of cold brew) It came without coldfoam and no drizzle :/ so not exactly what I ordered. My MIL got a hot chocolate, which came out not really... hot. So that was a little upsetting. We got the banana nut muffin which was a 9/10, we should've gotten it warmed. And I got the cinnamon french toast bagel with cream cheese which was SO GOOD It was a little slow for a drive thru. I'm huge on if you're going to take your time, it should be just right! Otherwise, pretty good. Good flavors and nice young ladies at the window. My rating is mostly due to the issue of not really being impressed with the delivery of our drink orders. read more

We've been here a couple of times. The coffee flavors are absolutely delicious. I feel like their teas could be better. I ordered a London fog tea this time around which I was not impressed with since the flavors weren't as strong. A good London fog on a cloudy or rainy day is my go to. Hubby got a seasonal pumpkin spiced latte and that was delicious! Their flavored coffees are out of this world and I would highly recommend. If you are a tea drinker, the teas are decent, but I feel like I've had better. FYI, there aren't really places to sit, but there is enough space where you can park your car and eat/ drink in your car. One feedback for the business is to move up the matcha menu up so it's easy to see. I totally wasn't able to see that they had a matcha until after I already ordered. I'll be back to try their matcha. The service otherwise was excellent. read more

Such a cute spot, way better than Dutch bros, Starbucks and Dunkin's. Not expensive either. Their espresso ratios to their cup sizes are spot on. A LOT of food options and drink options. 10/10. The coffee was good and fairly priced (which is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars) but the service was really weird... our friends were in line ahead of us (we were the ONLY two cars there) and were able to get food. We waited behind them to check out. By the time they got to us it was 12:33pm and the lady said that the kitchen closed at 12:30pm and it would be impossible for her to even toast a bagel... I literally thought she was joking for a second but she was dead serious... like seriously by THREE MINUTES? So weird... We were the ONLY people there and no one was behind us. Do the toasters magically disappear at 12:30? Bad experience for everyone. Our friends thought she was rude too. Also my friend had like three sips total in her coffee because it was all ice lol. read more

Such a cute little coffee shop! Everytime we are in Spicewood visiting a friend, we always stop in to Yellow Dog Coffee. They are a locally owned coffee shop with very friendly workers. We love to get the iced Witches' Brew and Toasty Campfire. Give yourself plenty of time because there is usually a line! They always do a great job and the drinks are delicious. I got the iced spiced dirty chai with almond milk (because they were out of oat milk). It's decent but definitely not the best chai I've had. There was no sweetness to it at all, so if you don't like sweet drinks, you may love this. I like a little sweetness. I also got a sausage and pepperjack cheese breakfast sandwich. You can choose between croissant and bagel, so I got an everything bagel. It came with cream cheese too, which I wasn't expecting but it was really good. I also got a "monster" rice crispy bar but I'm saving it for later since I went at breakfast time but it looks delicious. They have tons of syrup flavors, so I think next time I come I'll get a flavored latte. I don't live anywhere near here, but would stop on my way to some of the hiking spots not too far from there (muleshoe, Krause springs, etc.) read more

My pups and I love this little coffee barn off the highway just outside of Austin. Super cute theme (having two labs myself the yellow dog made my day) and the staff is always super friendly. Our dogs love them since they always get a treat! They have loads of breakfasts options, though the sausage Sammie's are our fav. Coffee wise they have all the flavors and add ons you could hope for, I personally like the toasty campfire half sweet or just a traditional cold brew. read more

This is just the cutest little coffee shop, run out of a food truck style trailer. My friend who I was visiting is a frequent visitor and I always love joining when I come to visit. They always have an extensive list of different coffees, lattes, and teas to chose from. They also do fresh fruit smoothies too! This trip the smoothie is what I went with, it was a berry smoothie with a banana added. The girls that work there are always the sweetest and always remembers what my friend orders (love how they pay attention to details for the 'regulars'). Always a treat to pop in! read more

She had a fantastic personality and she gave my sweet puppy a treat for the drive. Amazing. This was my first time here after a local who frequently visits told us it was the best coffee around. I've passed the location but never stopped, probably because I was skeptical. Yellow Dog Coffee was definitely one of the highlights of our trip out to Spicewood. We cannot go without a cup (or three) and we definitely enjoyed some treats here. The girls that work here are a delight - super friendly & very patient explaining some of their different drinks and taking the time to understand our flavor preferences so they can make suggestions accordingly. On our first visit we both tried an iced witches brew & this was DELICIOUS! We also grabbed jalapeño cheese kolaches which we thoroughly enjoyed. On our second visit we tried an iced toasty campfire & an iced maple coffee (not sure exactly what it was) but once again, we were not disappointed. The girls were able to make my drinks half as sweet which came out perfect for me. So cute definitely come here and enjoy some coffee, I love that they are in a cute little relationship and how they adore there dog! it is a small little shack so unless you would want to just hang out in your car here I don't recommend staying longer than just getting your coffee and leaving. They do have a small Parking lot that you can sit in but other than that I definitely recommend they are AMAZING read more

Wanted to say that we had the best experience at this coffee shop. It is very personable and the owners and staff are very professional, courteous and friendly. My coffee was made exactly how we ordered. The added chocolate covered coffee bean on top was perfect to add that special touch that makes them stand when ever we are looking for the perfect coffee experience. They even gave our 11 year old Black lab as much attention as they gave us by giving him a doggy treat! I meant to leave a review for these guys a few weeks ago. They're the best little coffee shop I've come across in the hill country area so far. The girls working there are super nice and accommodating. One of them remembers my order and I've only been there a couple of times. The maple pancake latte is a MUST try. I get mine hot with oat milk and 1/2 sweet. I've also tried the peanut butter mocha which was pretty good and then an iced cupcake latte for my hubby which was a bit too sugary for us but still good. Incredible! I echo the reviewer who mentioned this was the best coffee they had ever had- IT IS! I'm addicted and heartbroken to leave it when I leave the area. I bought a bag of coffee so I could bring this with me. The syrup choices are amazing and the witches brew is my absolute favorite. They also have delicious sweet treats! In terms of service - they deserve every one of these stars! The barista remembered my oat milk preference after only ONE visit.
