    Ice cold beer!!!
    G G.

My husband and I came here mainly to check out their famous ice cold beers, and let me tell you, they were not kidding. These beers were so cold they practically needed a sweater! But the real surprise was the food. We ordered the Sweet and Spicy Chicken, and wow, it was absolutely delicious. The flavor was finger licking good, perfectly balanced between sweet and spicy, and cooked just right. Then there was the cabbage side dish with ketchup and mayo. I will be honest, I was not sure what to expect, but it completely won me over. It was surprisingly tasty, and somehow I ended up finishing the entire bowl myself. My husband barely got a chance to try it! We also ordered the Hot Chicken Pizza, and I have to mention the crust. I have never had pizza crust that fluffy before. It was soft, fresh, and downright addictive. The atmosphere is amazing as well as the service!!! By the time we finished eating, my husband and I were already talking about when we would come back next. That is usually the sign of a great restaurant. Between the ice cold beer, delicious food, generous portions, and amazing flavors, this place definitely earned a spot on our favorites list. If you are thinking about trying it, do yourself a favor and go. Your taste buds will thank you, and you definitely will not regret it!

best beer in my LIFE Prices are very fair, and food is delicious. Got the chicken and bacon potato cheese jeon and the portion size was huge. I came here two days in a row. Would definitely be a regular

Came here two nights in a row back in April. The first night we came. It was too late for food so we had to come back the second night to try the food. Ice cold beer was delicious!! Food and service were meh. Would come back just for the beer if in the area again

Finally gave this place a try and the wait was insane! Honestly, this place is a little overhyped. The ice cold beers are cool yes, but the food is meh. It didn't really impress me especially with the long wait. The soy garlic chicken and spicy rice cakes (spicy!) were really good however! I was most excited to try the sukiyaki beef since the concept was interesting to me, but the meat was very tough to chew and it was average in flavor. The corn cheese was very creamy (almost soupy) and was a nice touch, but I wouldn't come here just for that. The bulgolgi pizza was too sweet and the puff pastry was just a strange combination for me. Overall, I feel like this place is overhyped and I would rather go Misoolkwan instead.

Fen Hao Zi Noodles GCO Dak (chicken)--those chewy noodles!!

After seeing all the buzz about the about this place on social media, I knew I had to check it out for myself. They're known for their ice-cold beers and unique take on Asian fusion dishes with strong Korean influences. Honestly, I wanted to order everything: the Beef Sukiyaki, Mexican Bulgogi Pizza, Corn Cheese Kimchi Fried Rice, Crispy Potato Pancake--the list can go on and on. After much deliberation, I settled on the Beef Sukiyaki and the Fen Hao Zi Noodles GCO Dak (Chicken). I enjoyed both dishes equally. The Beef Sukiyaki featured thinly sliced, marbled beef simmered in a sweet and soy-based broth. The Fen Hao Zi Noodles GCO Dak has thick, chewy Chinese potato starch noodles and chicken tossed in a spicy sauce. The noodles had that signature bouncy, springy texture that mad every bite incredibly fun and satisfying, while the chicken soaked up all the sauce's flavor. Both dishes were outstanding in their own way, and if I had to do it all over again, I'd order them both without hesitation. This visit only scratched the surface of what they have to offer. With so many dishes still on my must-try list, I can't wait to come back and work my way through the rest of the menu!

Located in The Source, INS Ice Beer is the scene for a replication of authentic styled bars in Korea. Parking is through the parking structure next to The Source, but if you're coming later in the evening, it shouldn't be a problem.its located in the corner of the plaza. We walked in and were immediately confused. It was loud with KPOP blasting in the background. A server asked us for how many, and when we showed two fingers, he walked away. We assumed to follow him, but then he shook us head no and said to wait. After a few seconds, the manager came up to seat us after asking for how many. We were seated in the corner of the place and were explained on how to use the iPad and where our utensils were. The manager was a very kind man and he wore a white shirt, while the servers were in all black. We ordered their soy chicken platter and two ice, cold beers. The beers were the best beers ever! The temperature of the glass really made it smooth. It was delicious. Their chicken was okay; too saucy for my liking. It came with fries and a cabbage salad that had ketchup and mayo on top. I actually really like their side chips that are for snacking and drinking. It was crunchy and tasty. When we finished our time and were ready to go, we clicked the call button on the iPad and asked for the check. A girl gave us our check and left. When I called for her to ask where we pay, she didn't answer me. I had called for her multiple times. It got to a point that we just walked our check up to the front and the guy was laughing at her. The three stars is for very unclear directions on the role of the servers. We spent most of our time trying to figure out who to talk to and how to pay. We ended up leaving our chicken because we didn't get a to go box. The servers were also no where to be found. I understand the iPads are for seamless service and no need for communication with people, but to have difficulty paying is different. I'd come back for the beers and snacks. Just expecting to not be served properly.

Really great spot to hang out and grab drinks with friends. The ice beer is excellent, and they offer several flavors of makgeolli. We tried the strawberry makgeolli which was delicious. For food, we ordered the army stew, but it was a little too spicy for my taste. While there's a decent variety of food options, I do wish the menu had a few more items to choose from. The servers were friendly and attentive; they noticed when we finish our ice beers and immediately asked if we wanted another round. The space is large and comfortable, but it's a popular spot, so be prepared for a wait during busy times. Overall, a fun place for drinks and good company.

New Korean Pub at The Source! Expect a little wait. Servers were helpful despite it being busy. Food is a hit or miss. * Ice Beer - interesting, worth trying! Slushy frosty beer perfect for the summer. Have to drink ASAP, melts quick. * Cheese Corn Gratin - BEST cheese corn in SOCAL so far! Don't miss out on this one! Cheese not too sharp, very creamy, milky, stringy! Perfect! * Ramen Fried Rice 5/5 - I thought it was just aestheically pleasing but TASTE wise! It's unique, never tried anything like this. The umami flavor and you can't eat it by itself without a viand! I wanna try it at home!! * Beef Sukiyaki - tender, the sukiyaki dipping sauce was a good balance to all the veggies. I don't really eat bean sprouts but this one was good!!! * We ordered 3 different chicken with fries, hit or miss! We ordered one that was undercooked, and the other had too much cheese powder but it worked out well on the fries! * VIRAL MATCHA MAEKGEOLLI was good to try, tasted like alcohol milk tea! But we preferred the strawberry one. * Potato pancake was ok! Nice place, played old KPop hits, have projectors and lights. Great place to hangout with friends!

Located at The Source mall plaza on the first floor. Luckily I came when it opened, it filled up quick and couldve had a long wait. It's known for their ice beer, get it ! From what I heard, Pro Tip: let it sit for 1-2 mins for the mug to defrost before you drink it so it could get a bit slushy. It was refreshing and delicious! Even if you chug it immediately, still very good regardless. They aren't able to share which beer they used, but it's on draft. Oh and they provide some sort of bar snacks right when u sit down, perfect to much with some drinks. We also ordered the sukiyaki hot pot. It was actually a decent portion with good hot soup in the middle. Their fried chicken looks delicious too, I'll try it next time!

This would be a great place for beer or fruity rice wine and get some bar food. I would recommend to come here for hangouts but not an actual meal if you want full korean food experience. The beef sukiyaki was not bad but mostly were fatty beef with bean sprout. The store is big and plays Kpop music videos. Services were ok since they have the iPad on the table for you to order and call staff.

Haven't stopped thinking about the Ice Beer since I tried it!!! The amount of people waiting to be seated before us intimidated me, but we were seated within 1.5 hours! Our table got the Spicy Egg Drop Soup, Boobmoja Spicy Chicken, Corn Cheese Gratin, and Beef Sukiyaki to share. I really can't remember which one was so spicy that we ended up using the ice beer as a great refreshment LOL My favorite was definitely the spicy chicken, and I have a feeling that was the spicy culprit. The beef from the sukiyaki portion was smaller than my group would like, so definitely keep in mind so you can order something else to offset that. Service was quick and food came out almost right away! It's a great alternative to Misoolkwan if you want to try it out :)

    Danica

In's Ice Beer was an amazing time! We ordered the fried chicken, bacon cheese & potato pancake, beef sukiyaki, cup ramen fried rice, and ice somaek -- and honestly everything was delicious. A few standouts: the cup ramen fried rice was such a unique concept -- light spice and a subtle crunch from the noodles that made it really fun to eat. The beef sukiyaki was another one -- cool concept and the meat quality was really good. And the fried chicken was boneless, light, and perfectly crunchy. Portions are generous and the price point is very reasonable for what you get. The interior is really warm and aesthetic -- cool vibe all around. Staff was attentive. There can be a wait so plan accordingly. Can't wait to come back!!

During the planning phase, General Manager Mike's experience was extremely helpful when we shared what we envisioned for the party. He advised us where to set up the sections for food, a photo booth, the satellite bar, gift/message table, and where to place the tables that were in front of the stage for our hired entertainment (singer and DJ). We reserved the beach outdoor patio which can have up to 200 people, stage and dance area and TVs to project photos. From the moment we arrived, besides Mike, Kelly was also onsite and the point of contact for our event and was available during the event. The service was nothing short of exceptional. Servers Raelyn and team were attentive, personable, and went above and beyond to ensure a successful event. My husband and I were able to enjoy the party alongside our family with our family and friends. Our event was held during Memorial Day weekend when a chemical leak occurred in Garden Grove and Mike worked closely with us to address our concerns, kept us informed every step of the way regarding any potential impact to the Buena Park location (which, thankfully, was never affected) and made sure every detail we outlined in the layout of the event was in place. His professionalism and steady reassurance transformed what could have been a stressful situation into a seamless and joyful evening. The ambiance was lively, festive, and absolutely ideal for our crowd. And the food? Our guests could not stop raving about it. Everyone agreed it far surpassed typical bar food. The sliders were a massive hit, the pizza was devoured within minutes and generous in portion and incredible in flavor -- had everyone going back for seconds. Multiple guests approached us throughout the night just to compliment the food, which says everything. That night at Rock and Brews in Buena Park will forever be a cherished core memory for our family and friends. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our son's college graduation celebration so incredibly magical! If you're looking for a stress-free venue for your next event, Rock and Brews in Buena Park delivers on every level. While I liked that the garlic sauce was super garlicky, it was a bit too sweet for me. The pasta sauce was also on the sweeter side. It also took a while for the food to come out, but that is usually the case for Korean fried chicken as it takes time to double fry the chicken. The chicken was indeed super crispy and delicious. Sweet potato fries were yummy and the kimchi udon spicy but tasty. The interior was large, spacious, and bright. Prices were fair and portions good.
