    C4. Beef Noodle Soup

We came for the beef noodle soup and it hit the spot! Seasoned just right and ordering it was very quick at the counter. The ambiance felt like I was walking into a small, cozy mom and pops restaurant. We'll come again!

Marinated seaweed and tofu gan - authentic and good!

This has been on my list for a long time to try and finally came in tonight for dinner. The place is very casual and frankly kind of dumpy but those are the best places for good authentic food! My family is from Taiwan and so I was looking forward to coming here and giving it a try. Now granted, I am picky when it comes to Taiwanese food, so if not made right, you will know about it. We ordered the ground pork over rice and Taiwanese braised pork over rice combos. Both dishes were pretty good. I dont have high expectations here in Phoenix and I was pleasantly surprised! We also checked out their cold case and lots of comforting dishes like Taiwanese pickled cabbage, marinated pig ears, marinated seaweed and tofu gan. We got an order of the seaweed and tofu gan and it was good. Also had a boba tea to go and it was as expected. Boba was chewy like it should be and for $3.35, pretty good deal. Overall, the food was good and there is a specials daily menu by the cash register but its written in Chinese, so you probably need to ask the owner what specials they are having or bring me with you! When we came tonight there was eel over rice, 3 cups chicken over rice combo and papaya milk and green bean sweet soup. I'd definitely come back here again when Im in the mood for Taiwanese food but I would skip dining in. I felt like I was in some school cafeteria, zero ambiance. But the food was legit!

We have been here many times but it's been a while. It was hopping tonight, so busy but the food was still quite fast. We had ground pork noodle soup, fried tofu and the Taiwanese pork bowl. It was very good. The portions were good size. We also had 2 drinks, a strawberry milk and a red bean snow. This is the only place that makes a good red bean drink! I love this small mom and pop place with authentic Taiwanese food.

Upon walking in to the store, you feel transported back to Taiwan a bit. Feels very cozy and the mom and dad working there and most likely the owners are super friendly. There is a good amount of table seating if you choose to dine in and it's order at the counter style. Lots of drink options from milk teas to fruit teas to slushes. We've been a few times now and always get the popcorn chicken, absolute juicy and big chicken pieces. I love the portion sizes. The braised pork rice is also the perfect amount of umami and very tender with just the right amount of fattiness. Soup dumplings were good too but takes about 15 mins to get ready. The drinks are worth the price and the boba is nice a chewy.

Yes yes yes for me for Yes Cafe! This is considered one of my comfort food place. A cute little mom and pop vibe with tasty traditional Taiwanese food. My go to here is usually the popcorn chicken and Taiwanese pork combo and the papaya milk smoothie. I love the sauce that goes with the rice and also the brown tea egg, cabbage, tofu, and yellow pickled daikon. It makes a complete meal for me. The popcorn chicken is always a fun and flavorful snack to have. The beef roll is another classic that's delicious too. Recently they had a really good boneless pork chop. Tastes like the popcorn chicken. You can order most anything and it'll come out pretty fast. The staff are all so nice and work efficiently.

Small hole-in-the-wall spot. First of all, the boba tea is cheap (about $4), but it's made with powdered milk tea, and the boba was overcooked, sticky and soggy. The beef noodle soup had great flavor, but the noodles were a bit too soft and soggy, and it only came with four slices of beef. The pork chop combo was decent. The pork chop itself was good, though slightly powdery and had a big bone in it. The pickled cucumber was tasty, but the simmered egg and tofu were bland and flavorless. Our favorite item was probably the beef roll. The sauce was delicious, but the portion was small and had very little beef inside. There's no real table service, you order at the counter, find your own seat, and they bring the food out to you. They'll clear the table afterward. There's a self-serve water station and to-go boxes available on the side, so you help yourself when you're ready.

Small place located in a plaza! Staff is friendly. The best Taiwanese popcorn chicken I've ever tried! I ordered a snack size and it ended up being way too much food for me on top of the ground pork soup. All super yummy! Next time I will instead get the chicken with rice meal. I'm sure that will be filling enough. It was my first time and so I wanted to try as much as possible. I will also have to try one of the drinks! So many flavor options.

I come here exclusively for their fantastic pork chop rice combo! The pork is always crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The sides--steamed cabbage, pickled radish, and a perfectly seasoned egg--really complement the pork. You can even add an extra egg for about $1.50. The place has a homey vibe, with a TV playing a Taiwanese news channel. There's always a steady stream of Taiwanese customers.

Nice variety of Taiwanese food. You order and then they bring the food out to you. Service was slow and they forgot about our orders, but they gave us fried squid balls while we wait for our items to come out. My favorite was the beef roll! It wasn't oily like other beef rolls I had before. Spicy beef tendon came in a togo container. After you order, they grab it from the fridge. Soup Dumplings were juicy, but the skin was thicker than I would like. Beef Noodle Soup broth was good. Popcorn chicken had a lot of breading. Many tables to choose from. Overall this place was okay.

Had high hopes but was felt somewhat average imo The order: Popcorn chicken Fried squid ball Beef noodle soup XLB Beef roll Spicy beef tendon The good: The manager/owner came out with a double portion popcorn chicken due to a missing order They also came out with squid balls to apologize for a slow order I like that it's cafe styled eating The bad: Spicy Tendon came in a to go box, which made it look cheap. Soup dumpling was "so-so", good flavor, but not juicy enough. They completely forgot about half of our order and we had to awkwardly ask where the food was at.

Had never been here, but my son picked this place for his birthday dinner. You order at the counter and then your food is brought to your table. The food is made to order. They have many options to choose from. I ordered the pork chops combo which I really enjoyed. My son ordered popcorn chicken as an appetizer and the beef noodle soup as his entree. I had a taste of the popcorn chicken and was really good. Also the honeydew milk tea is really good. The lady at the cash register was pleasant and friendly. I would definitely go back to try other options.

5/30/26: this was our first visit. We have been back twice already. The environment is very chic…read moreand pristine, extremely well decorated. There are usually a couple gals behind the counter, watching the screen while you place your order ... waiting patiently as you peruse their many choices, trying to decide which tea to order. They are super friendly and very helpful. This visit we ordered the ginger chai, vanilla bean cream latte. I preferred the ginger chai, but my sister thought hers was betters. Our second visit we ordered the orange bianco, along with the cream earl grey milk teas. Both also wonderful. Today we ordered the raspberry chocolate milk tea and cocoa cream matcha. I may sound like a broken record, but yes, they were wonderful. It is NOT a boba tea shop; it was, but no longer. Incidentally, if you come the "back" way, entering off Warner vs Dobson, the signage on the back side still says Ni Hao. :-) Since we've already visited them three times, I think it's pretty clear we would highly recommend their teas.

TeaMakers & Company is a fantastic new addition to the locally owned small tea shops in the area…read more They're a Korean owned cafe and definitely exude that Korean cafe style in their operations, decor, and menu. Every detail is thoughtfully curated and you'll feel comforted and welcomed by the employees. They have fantastic tea quality! If you love tea, you will not be disappointed. The croffles are also great. Some other cafes bog down their croffles with toppings and sugar, but here they put just the right amount. They're not cloyingly sweet. I highly recommend getting the sugar on the regular croffle. It caramelizes and adds a pretty sheen and crunch without taking away from the croissant base. It is very clean and quiet inside during less busy hours. TeaMakers has a medium-small amount of seating featuring both hard table tops and a comfy couch sitting area. With their current setup, you can fit a group of up to 4 at their biggest tables. TeaMakers & Company excels in everything already despite being so newly opened. I truly do not have any constructive criticism to give at this time, and I've been there multiple times already.

Discovered this new little spot online and definitely enjoyed!…read moreThe menu has a good amount of options and I was feeling like trying their soft serve as well as their Matcha tea so I opted for a drink that had both! They don't have a ton of milk options if you're looking for skim or non-fat, but the options were either the whole milk or oat milk I believe. There was only one girl working the counter as well as the kitchen, but our drinks came out super quick despite there being a good handful of people! The Uji matcha with the soft serve had that nice smooth flavor with a slight bitterness at the end definitely had a strong matcha taste. I didn't have expectations for the mango sparkling water but wow, was it good! The mango really came through and did not have an artificial taste whatsoever. It was one of the most refreshing drinks I've had and something I would definitely order again!

Came here for a little sweet (but not too sweet) treat while we were in the area…read more We ordered the earl grey milk tea with tofu pudding and mochi balls, the warabimochi sundae and the Gozen Shiratama bliss. Our favorite item was the warabimochi sundae, it was not too sweet or bitter; very light and refreshing with lots of complimenting textures. Their soft serve isn't too creamy, and the matcha wasn't too strong. Sometimes if matcha is too strong, I end up feeling unwell afterwards, but there was none of that from this place! The other two items were good, but nothing outstanding. Overall, service was fast and friendly. The shop may look quaint from the outside but there are plenty of indoor seating options.
