The first day we planned on eating at Yesterdays, we pulled up and Oops! It was a Tuesday- the day they are closed. We therefore returned later on in the week for brunch after hiking at Diana's Baths and their food was perfect for after a hike. Like usual, I ordered a hot chocolate since I don't drink coffee and it was great- especially since it wasn't the "fake" whipped cream. Luckily for me, one of the specials that day was a panini- I LOVE paninis so I had to order it, but believe me- it was very difficult to decide what to order since their entire menu sounded appetizing. All of their sandwiches/wraps are served with chips and a dill pickle, and served on your choice of bread. The panini was delicious. It had mozzarella cheese, tomatoes and pesto. I was apprehensive only because you never know if the pesto is done to your liking but this was perfect. It was also piping hot- I had to cut it with a knife and fork in order to eat it, it was so hot- it was amazing. The fries were sweet potato fries which I appreciated since they are tasty and also make you feel healthier for eating them. Our table was also served: 1) the Countryman's special: Two eggs any style, home fries, French toast or pancakes, bacon or sausage. $10.99 and it was a hit. Their pancakes were served with your own individual bottle of real maple syrup and the bottle was heated beforehand so the maple syrup stays nice and warm. It was super cute and something I had never seen before. 2) Hunter's Hash -Shaved sirloin with mushrooms, peppers, onions, tomatoes, and cheese served over homefries. $7.99 For that price, the amount of food you get is AMAZING. The portions are huge and you also have the option of adding two eggs and homemade toast for another $3 but it would definitely be hard to finish. Look at how big the portion is and that is without the possible extras! 3) Huevos Rancheros - Scrambled eggs, cheddar, salsa, jalapeños & home fries on a tomato tortilla topped with a smoky black bean puree. $10.99 The tomato tortilla this is served on alone looked great. While the salsa was a bit spicy, it was delicious and jam packed with flavour. It is honestly so hard to choose what to eat here- it all tasted amazing and it makes you want to try everything on the menu at least once. I would definitely go back here again and again. The restaurant itself is very cute. It can get loud with all of the other happy diners, but it shows that it is a popular spot. Everything is very clean, including the washrooms. There are two rooms that are both "all gender friendly". The service is quick and the servers are very polite and helpful. Overall, a very good restaurant! read more

Stopped here on a whim for lunch and had a really nice sandwich, chicken club with home made molasses type bread (forgive me I don't remember the specific selection but it was really nice). The bread is all made on site and is really tasty. We also had the turkey gumbo and again really tasty. The server was incredibly attentive and kind, and was definitely hustling making sure all her tables received the same exceptional service. We had such a good lunch we stopped for breakfast the next day and had a very similar experience. The breakfast wrap with feta and basil and eggs with home fries- really satisfying. Manager was extremely rude. The restaurant is mismanaged. The wait staff was not properly trained. They missed a part of our order and we kindly asked for it to go and the manager told us it was our fault and called us assholes in front of children. I swear we were kind and polite the entire time. I believe she was stressed bc they were short staffed and maybe we added a bit of stress to her plate bc we needed to go and kindly asked for the missing part of our order to go. Built an omelette with feta, american, bacon, and mushrooms..... along with the home fries and toast (ohh yeah, even the toast) that came along with, it was one of the best quintessential breakfast combos I've had out in a long while. Fantastic! There are few breakfasts that are memorable a week later but this is a rare gem. The number of specials was really nice. They offered a hash special that included roasted beets. It was late morning & I happened to be driving by from looking at the wonderful displays of pumpkin people on Main St. And I noticed this restaurant had the Jack and the bean stalk on the roof. We had lunch here on Monday. Very distanced and we felt safe there. The homemade bread is amazing. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed laughing and joking with them. There is a one star review from a Lauren D. on here that is quite negative. My family was there to witness the issue she and her party experienced. Lauren fails to mention how rude she was being to the server and owner Sarah as she tried to explain they would need to wait a few moments for an indoor table. There were empty tables that, to my understanding, were within 6 feet of other guests and thus could not be used for immediate seating as part of obvious safety measures. This was apparently unacceptable to Lauren and prompted her to initiate an altercation with the owner. Lauren at one point loudly instructed the owner to "read the news," as if the owner wasn't completely complying with the actual up-to-date recommendations and guidelines from Govenor Sununu. The owner made it very clear to Lauren and her accomplice that they would not be welcome at Yesterday's if they refuse to comply with the safety measures put in place to help protect customers and staff alike and she was absolutely right to do so. I wouldn't want to serve Lauren on the grounds of her attitude alone, not to mention her disregard for the safety of others. Having your boyfriend or whoever swearing at restaurant workers as you are forced to drive off because you wouldn't wait to minutes for a safe table isn't cute. Despite witnessing Lauren's whole ordeal, we had such a great experience here! This review is posted late summer 2020, so health and safety was very important to us and Yesterday's was very conscientious about the safety of their staff and their customers. Sarah's got a good thing going here. An egg for a logo. A moniker forever in the rear view. A plate called Hunter's Hash... What? Yes. I'll have a double. Pro tip: Don't be surprised when something that stirs imagery of an exploded steak bomb with a couple of eggs comes out looking exactly like that. Shaved steak, melted cheese, peppers, onions and 'shrooms piled atop soft homefries, and served with housemade toast. It's a dirt cheap feast at $10, but protein packers beware, I did get a serious case of distress almost immediately upon eating. I've been full - this was not full. Prices are proper, and the diner is old world. Service fluctuates, even through the course of your meal. (Oddly, we were one of two tables, and there were stretches of 10-15 minutes when nobody flew by for coffee toppers or quality checks. It was... eerily quiet.) Fits the bill for a quick brekkie before packing pow, and I'd happily swing back by. I'd just know what to expect. read more
