Sooo. As I sit here at the bar I wonder if it's really worth it to take MY TIME to write a review today... but you know what! I'm annoyed so here it goes. I remember this place before it burnt down I was new to the area and stopped in for a meal. That meal was so disgusting I never came back! But then they remodeled it and I said, you know what, let me give it a chance and my husband said hell no. I had to come several times without my husband before we finally convinced him to come and try it again. All of my experiences in the dining area were great. I brought my mom and friends when they came into town. I loved how they kept coming out to manage and monitor the salad bar and tidy it up and replace as needed. The food was mediocre but always cooked right and the Wait staff was wonderful, always attentive and always friendly. Fast forward to my day today... so apparently there's this guy that's the bartender who's an older dude wobbles like a penguin and apparently when his bar is packed and people walk in, he whispers underneath his breath please go to a table go to a table. I'm thinking that's probably what he said when I walked in the door. I sat very politely and waited ... and waited... and waited... Then when he was close enough I said hi, HE immediately cut me off and said I'll be right with you hun! HUN? Ok cupcake! As I watch him fix cups and put other cups in the dishwasher area I'm saying to myself really? You can't quickly ask me what I would like to drink and give me a menu while you do that shit? It only got worse I continued to stay patient because apparently he's so friendly with everybody else that was at the bar (the regulars... )and I guess you don't want new clients... actually I'm pretty sure the owner wants ALL business not just regular business! I've spent a lot of money here before and this area is being built up by new homeowners and I love the fact that it's growing however people like him need to be way more open minded when it comes to new clients! I wasn't one but I didn't expect him to know me since I was sitting at the bar and not in the dining area which is where I usually sit at with family. Someone next to me said that he was heart of hearing and he wouldn't hear when his back is turned but I spoke louder and he always heard everyone else except me lol. Crock of shit. I had been coming here for years, and finally after the last visit, I said I would come no more. Yesterday's used to be really good, back before the fire and renovation. While the place is indeed beautiful and clean, the food and service is sub-par. The menu has not changed in decades, and while it is not exactly an Italian restaurant, per se, Italian dishes dominate the menu. Most entrees are not exactly bad, just bland, below average, and lackluster. There's really nothing worthwhile to order, though I do love the salad bar which also comes with two choices of soup, fresh baked rolls, and mussels. Drink prices are also really cheap, but $5 cocktails still are not enough to get me to come back here unless they get a new chef who actually knows how to season and cook food flavorfully. The lunch specials here are abominable. I ordered a chicken and cheese quesadilla which literally tasted like dirt. Service can also range. Some of the younger ones are nice and pleasant, while there is an older one who is a bit snippy and doesn't smile until it is time to place the check on your table. read more

$21 for a shrimp scampe dinner that had 6 shrimp and very little pasta. Parking is horrendous. Would come back to try a different dish as the meal was good, just very small for the price of a dinner at a restaurant that has a salad bar. read more

I ate here with friends from the area on Satuday and I have to say....I was impressed!!!! I got the chicken eggplant parmigiana and it was excellent. Both items were fried perfectly (I hate anything over fried)....and I loved the tomato sauce at this restaurant. Wasn't overly spiced or overly garlic'd.....was sheer perfection. My friends ordered Sagrea which I never had before and loved that too. I was also shocked that with the dinner I got a full salad bar, two choices of soup, homemade warm dinner rolls and mussels.....all for $12.95!!!!!!! The waitress we had at the bar was extremely nice too.....cute little blonde girl....if I knew her name I'd mention it. All in all you can't go wrong with this place....if you rate them under a 4 maybe they were having a bad day or night.....everyone does. I'd definitely go back again. Went there with a group of about 10 (including a few kids) and none of the adults were blown away by anything. Everything was just okay, bland, etc. I don't imagine myself rolling back here any time soon. read more

Not to happy with the new Yesterday's My family and I ate there last week, and I don't know what was worse the FOOD or the SERVICE, I can tolerate the service but the food BAD. There were 5 of us and I can maybe see 1 dish being bad but all of them were ,and all of us got something different. The worst was my poor daughters Salmon it was so overcooked, over a box of watery frozen spinach! Wasted a lot money after Christmas!!! Thank God for the salad bar!! read more

Found this restaurant because it was close to the Best Western where we spent a couple of nights. It's a good Italian family restaurant that is reasonably priced and generous with portions. Although you probably won't find anything more exotic on the menu than shrimp Francese, they are diverse enough to offer everything from pizzeria fare to catering wedding banquets. All entrees come with a salad bar that includes soup, mussels and dinner rolls in addition to the usual salad fixings. Some folks here complained about the service but we found the waitstaff to be friendly and efficient. They weren't terribly busy when we were there because the dinner rush was already over but that's also when waitstaff can cop attitude about customers walking in when they would rather finish filling the salt shakers- and we got no such attitude from them. Love the food, but the front end leaves tons to be desired. Ate here quite a few times, then it became busier and the hostesses are the pits. The last three times I have been here, I have walked out of the place angry - before even getting seated! They tell you 15 minutes and then seat people who arrive after you before they even acknowledge you. 3 times is a loser in my book. They tried to seat a party of 8 at two tables before the party of 8 turned it down. We (party of 2) had been there 20 minutes before them! When we asked about our chances of seeing a table, the girls tried to seat another party before us! This place is a joke - no doubt. Sorry guys, you lost a customer for life.
