Tre Colore' is consistently a really great place to grab a casual slice or a more elevated Italian meal. They have a really big and impressive pizza case - so many slices to choose from. Pizza is sooo good. I just haven't found a pizzeria this quality by me. It reminds me of Mancini's in East Brunswick, which I consider to be the best. The vodka slice is a must get. They also make a vodka pepperoni slice - perfection. There are some fun premade sandwiches in the case, and I loved the chicken parm sandwich on a pillowy garlic knot slider. They also have a full grill / sandwich menu for things like burgers, cheesesteaks, chicken fingers and Italian sammies. There is a big casual dining area in the front pizzeria section as well as a back dining room area for a sit down dinner. Overall it's pretty standard for a strip mall Italian restaurant / pizzeria, but the IMO the pizza here happens to be some of the best.

Bread comes out piping hot each time, service is prompt, quick and friendly. The spicy rigatoni vodka was very spicy but definitely delicious!

Bada Bing Bada Boom. That's how I felt when I went to Tre Colore. My parents wanted to stop here because they had dined in last year and really enjoyed the food. We came in around lunchtime to grab a couple of slices to eat before we met up with family members. You can't beat their selection of pie's. We went with the tomato, pepperoni, and Mama's special sauce pizza. Cashier was very efficient in taking our order and our pizza came out fast. The VIP of the pizzas we order was by FAR mama's special sauce. The cashier advised it was a little sweeter than most sauces and it was. It's not overly sweet, but jsut enough to get you to lick your fingers. We originally got the slice for my 7yo daughter, however, we all were using our leftover crusts to soak up what remained of her sauce...SO GOOD!

When I picked up my pie, we ate our first slices outside. The pizza was warm, and I wish it was scolding hot. This was phone order that we picked up in 25 minutes. So I don't know if this pie was one that was already made. The pie was well done. I like my pie with some white mozzarella cheese still on the pie. The pie was kinda orange when you look at the pictures I posted. Some of the crust and slice underneath was burnt. Plus when you look at the pie, it was not a perfect circle. One slice was out of place. As for the pizza slice, it was a bit on the salty side. The pizza base crust was a little on the heavy side. It was not thinner or on the lighter side. This reminded me of the way Vermont pizza is made, well done. The pizza was ok, and people's opinion is very subjective. What one person thinks is a 9.4 out of 10, could be an 8.4 by another. I couldn't test if the crust held up the cheese and sauce since I picked it up warm. From what I gathered with the underside crust, I would not flop since the crust was on the heavy side. Overall, I would try it out again and eat in so I get the great experience of the pizza pie coming right out of the oven!

This year the theme was reclaiming my peace and after a filling brunch and midday nap, I rallied for patio beers at Flounder Brewing. Testo had their food cart there so we decided to split a truffle white pie. You wanna talk about a perfect ending to a perfect day?!?! Easily top 3 pizza of my life. My girlfriend and I recently visited Albivi Brick Oven in Millstone for the first time, and…read moreunfortunately, it will also be our last. We typically enjoy an early Saturday dinner so we can spend a quiet evening together. When we arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty, so we were looking forward to a relaxing meal. Unfortunately, our experience started on the wrong foot. Our waiter greeted us without a smile and seemed unfriendly throughout the evening. We ordered appetizers, but no appetizer plates were provided. We had to ask for them because it appeared we were expected to use the small bread plates. After finishing our appetizers, the dirty dishes remained on our table for quite a while, even though the restaurant was empty. We ended up drinking our wine while looking at dirty plates waiting to be cleared. The biggest disappointment came later. A couple arrived with two young children, and despite the restaurant having plenty of empty tables, they were seated directly behind my girlfriend. One child was running around on the floor while the other repeatedly banged on the booths and walls. We have children ourselves and truly enjoy being around families, so this is not a complaint about kids. The issue was that there were many other seating options available, including another dining room with other families, yet they were seated immediately next to us in an otherwise quiet dining area. When the noise continued to escalate, I politely spoke with our waiter and explained the situation. His response was simply, "What do you want me to do?" I then asked to speak with the owner, but the owner never came out to address our concerns. By that point, we had eaten only about half of our meals. We asked for the check, and only then did the waiter offer to move us. Unfortunately, by then the evening had already been ruined. We paid our bill, left the rest of our dinners behind, and left the restaurant. This wasn't the children's fault. Children will be children. The disappointment was in how the situation was handled. When customers are spending well over $100 for dinner in a restaurant that is nearly empty, they expect a pleasant dining experience and attentive customer service. A simple decision to seat the family elsewhere or a willingness to address our concern promptly could have completely changed the outcome. It's unfortunate because the restaurant itself is attractive, and the food was good. However, good food alone cannot overcome poor service and a lack of consideration for the overall dining experience. Sadly, we will not be returning.
