Their guide KC guided us for our first guided instructional / coaching fishing trip to the San Gabriel River where we caught loads of bass, sunfish, Rios, Warmouths. KC introduced US to popper dropper fishing with nymphs, which yielded great success!! We attended their free Saturday class on introduction to fly fishing which included hands-on casting instruction and tips on where to fish, tackle to use and solid common sense conservation information. Living Waters conducts countless classes free to any and all who register. These classes are in part funded by federal or state grants awarded to qualifying organizations that DO NOT CHARGE for the classes. This is like gold for newbies like me. Inasmuch as I apparently like to decorate riverside trees with colorful flies, they have sold me countless flies to replace them. Once when I broke the tip of my 5 weight 9 ft TFO rod, they partnered with the rod manufacturer and arranged for a replacement tip to be on hand at Living Waters when we were passing thru Round Rock to go fishing on the San Marcos. Thank you TFO and Living Waters!!! I recently went on a guided float trip on the Llano River with guides Jim and KC lost count of the fish I caught and released and among those, countless Rios, which I LOVE to hook and fight. I am in a lather to float the Llano with them again as soon as they arrange another trip. (I've asked them to grant me first right of refusal because I'm so special!!!!). Check out their beautiful videos of fooling fish with fly rods and tackle! So go see the folks at Living Waters already!! You'll thank me!!

They had quite a variety of sporting goods relating to baseball, football, and disc golf. It would be nicer if the store would be a bit bigger. There is decent parking in a shopping center area. Pricing of the goods seemed reasonable. If you are looking for disc golf equipment or accessories and/or baseball as well, come check this place out. I will definitely come back.

Both make very well made shoes, and those who do run, have said they are the top two they would choose for marathons. I don't run. But, I was taught, and I have since believed to, even if just walking....get a running shoe! More cushion then any walking shoe! Also, I used to show customers, by how they walk, if they "pronate" or "supinate" (walk on inside or outside of their foot), or "neutral". So, I know the difference on shoes, when they have the "gray bar" on the shoe, that is for pronaters, like me! :) When I came into the store on 12/29 (just discovered this Outlet mall in general and was walking around), I was greeted by two happy associates. I wish I caught their names. But, it was one male, and one female, and both were very nice! The lady came up to me as I was looking at the shoes, and explained all the above, and I was impressed that she knew about judging the walking as well. (* I have been to a LOT of stores that sell athletic shoes, and they don't know the difference). I ended up with the Kayano, as it just felt like "butter" when I slipped it on. Plus, it was on sale, so couldn't beat that! When I approached the cash register, the gentleman behind was very nice as well, and asked how long I have liked Asics. I replied "Over a decade now". He told me about the rewards program, so I signed up. I will recommend anybody to this place! Very knowledgeable and very helpful!

I never thought I'd be on the lululemon train, but…read moreafter buying my first pair of shorts just around a year ago, I've been converted and absolutely love their clothes for athletic wear. The location is Round Rock is extremely new and functions like their pop-up locations. There is a ton of deals on great clothes at markdowns that you cannot scoff at. I left with a pair of shorts for myself and a top for my girlfriend that she wanted at less than $100 which is rare for lululemon products. Since the place had just opened it was absolutely packed to the brim and the line almost wrapped around the store. It felt like I was fighting with people to look at merchandise because they would hog up areas. I think it's just a kink with the store just opening. It's cool to have a place like this nearby because I think a true lululemon (not an outlet) would be extremely successful in Round Rock because so many people in Hutto, Georgetown, and Round Rock would go to it vs having to drive into Austin for their athletica.
