I took my son to a play place and noticed this restaurant right next to it so I decided to order lunch to go. I ordered through DoorDash for pick up. Note: there is a parking lot in the back. The restaurant is small and has no seating area. I ordered pork tacos, buffalo wings and a chicken burrito (not pictured). The prices were very affordable, such good value. The pork tacos had cilantro and pineapple and came with 2 sauces and radish/cucumbers. It was pretty good, the pork was a little dry and salty. But overall with the sauces, I enjoyed it. The Buffalo wings were also good. My favorite was the chicken burrito, it came with guacamole and pico de gallo. It was HUGE. It took me 2 days to finish and my son had some. And it was only $11. The employees (probably the owners) were SO kind and even helped me open the door since I was carrying my son. I will definitely be coming back next time my son goes to the play place! read more

By far the best most authentic Mexican place in this area of Essex county & I've tried a bunch. Tacos are excellent, nachos are very good & huge (they are literally enough food for like 3 people). My wife always gets the cheese flautas which are great, the salsa verde & pico are fresh & really good. The chips and guacamole were less good: the chips lacked crunch and the guac didn't do much of anything. Stick to carry-out only. We arrived at 5:30 on a Friday, an hour and a half before closing, and inverted chairs already blocked all but one of the few tables, which was occupied. Great little mom-and-pop shop with some wonderful Mexican and American items on their menu. Such friendly staff also. The cookies that they sell are homemade and absolutely fantastic my recommendation is the oatmeal raisin so crispy and chewy on the inside. What a great change of pace for the restaurants in Cedar Grove. A great little Mexican restaurant that also serves some American dishes like salads and wraps. Have been here a few times for lunch and it has been great every time. The burritos are massive and very filling. I have had a chicken and chorizo burrito a few times and it has been enough to hold me over for lunch and dinner. The tacos and quesadilla are both great as well. They seem to have different specials each time I am in but have not tried them as I have always been extremely satisfied with the burritos and the side of guac that comes with it. So happy that we actually have a taco spot near work! Ever since one of my co-worker has told me that there's this new taco/ deli near work, I along with few other co-workers have been going there almost twice a week. Their tacos are so good, I definitely recommend the Al Pastor ( marinade pork) and the Asada (grilled beef), also their tostadas and their grill chicken warp is one to order as well. It's yummy and fresh. Best part is, their tacos are $2 everyday but taco Tuesday. On taco Tuesday all their TACOS are $1 each! Mind blown. But definitely recommend this place.
