This is mainly a review of their Chicharones. As a store, it's definitely smaller than what I am used to but it does have the essentials if this is your neighborhood store. What brought me to this place is their chicharones aka fried pork skins. This is something you should not be eating on a regular basis. Moderation is key. If you are a fan of chicharones, this is the spot to get it. I've tried them from a lot of different chain markets such as Chavez and I honestly have not found any place that makes them this good. This is only for the chicharrons. They were too salty for us. And it hurts our teeth trying to eat it too. It's too hard. Not crispy. I came here Saturday around 11am or 12pm. It was busy. I'm glad I got lucky and someone was just leaving the parking lot. It seems like at busy times, it'll be hard to get parking spot. There's a parking lot but it's probably shared with other stores too. It's located on a busy Main Street. I saw they sell tomatillos and fresh salsa too. So they were frying up a new batch of chicharrons when I arrived. It was my first time there and I didn't know there was a short line already waiting for it. Be careful they sold me arrechera, but it was some pot roast. I asked the butcher to cut the arrechera in small pieces, and it seemed he didn't want to do it. I had been referred to this market by various locals. The market is on the smaller side and has a big meat department. Yayo's market is known for the meat department, I did see that the meat is kept wrapped, and there was a person buying a big order. However, I didn't think there was a big difference from other grocery stores. The meat was more expensive. If you need a quick grocery run, Yeyo's might be good. read more

My uncle always comes here to buy groceries but today it went all bad he went in to buy some cheese and once he got home he noticed it was EXPIRED!!! so he went back to return it but sadly lost his receipt and they disrespected him in many ways all because he wanted to return an expired cheese they sold to him and for him not having a receipt. Though it's no fault of their own, but more a testament to their popularity, sometimes the butcher can get quite backed up. Last week when I visited in the early afternoon, before the evening rush l, someone was buying a couple hundred pounds of meat so it took a bit to get service. This happens mostly on or near the weekends, But with that said, the store is packed from floor to ceiling with fresh and marinated meats, cheese, fresh salsas, chapulines even! They sell tlayuda tortillas that you don't see often, huarache tortillas, unmarked bags of tortillas stacked in boxes(yes they're yummy) and a small produce section on the far side of the store. They also sell hot tamales and packaged Chile rellanos to take home and throw in the air fryer. The parking lot may be small so during busy times you may need to park next door or in the neighborhood (please be respectful of the neighbors if you have to park outside of the lot) read more

Usually I have good experience getting my prepared meat here.. Unfortunately this past weekend they mixed my order with lower quality cheaper costing meat on the bottom of the bag.. Once we began grilling it we noticed the meat was not what we ordered.. We went back the next day to complain about what happened, we had pictures and also brought the meat back. I know the majority that shop here are Latino's/Spanish speaking but I was in line (the first due to COVID-19) and the woman who was monitoring the door asked a question in Spanish (like HELLO - I don't speak Spanish) which I though was rude. I just had a terrible experience and I really would like Yeyo's to know because with all the restrictions it's a bad idea to have a person do BAD customer service. This is one the the best spots to get the most fresh cuts off meat. I recently found out that most small Latin business around get there meats from here. It's a very small store but it's packed all the time. The lines to order meat are big most of the time but it's well worth the wait. Also they have a special seasoning on the meats if you ask for it it delicious and all you have to do is throw your meat on the grill and not worry about adding anything on it. At the meat counter they speak Spanish, so if you don't - you will be looked over and not helped unless you are keeping your eye on who was there first and speak up for yourself. Meat is good. Ground beef used to be better but now they put too much fat. It's ok but the service needs to include the non-Spanish spiraling people. Parking is horrible and the customers will cut you of to take open places. Get the Mexican bread wher it is fresh as flies hey in the enclosed case. I go in for coffee in the morning when I am in the neighbor. As it opens early. Haven't tried the meat but the place smells great in the afternoon. read more

Halloween Saturday and nice day to start up grill outside so searched for meat shop and found Yeyo meat market. George the butcher behind the counter was really nice and told us where and when their meats are coming in. Quality of the meats are excellent and some stuff (like flour tortillas and tomatoes) cheaper than Big supermarket. Front of store, They sell Mexican hotdog and tamales and we bought one each to snack and end up buying more tamales for home. Definitely coming back again!!! read more
