Simple and basic but done very well. Seasoned well and not too salty at all. I've only tried beef soups but it's tasty, and huge portions.

This is located in a plaza with plenty of spots in the parking lot. Love the idea of the prepackaged meal, especially the frozen soups. We haven't tried the meat or side dishes yet. I wish they had smaller portions of the side dishes. The staff was friend We've been here multiple times. Tried the Clam Kalguksoo and Spicy Beef Soup. Not all of the frozen soup comes with noodles (on the side) so you'll have to buy it separately or get it across the street at 99 Ranch. It's enough for 2 portions, even 3-4 if you add extra noodles.

They have Spicy Crab available. It's spicy, sweet, and the texture is like softer raw scallop. I enjoyed it quite a bit. It gets pretty messy, so I recommend using gloves when eating this dish. I'll have to review the meat and frozen soups after I try them.

Coming across Angus The Butcher Shop on Yelp was such a gem!! I searched up Korean spicy raw marinated crab on Yelp and this is what popped up. Angus The Butcher Shop is a Korean butcher shop, they offer a broad variety of freshly cut meats, a whole lot of banchan, and even some frozen food items too. We originally just came for the crab but ended up walking out with some spicy fish cakes, seaweed salad, and their spicy pork belly too. They take spice SERIOUSLY here - we went home immediately to try everything we got because we were so excited, and the spicy pork belly and the spicy raw marinated crab nearly had us tearing at the eyes but in a good way haha. The crab here was so fresh and is honestly the best raw marinated crab that I've had in the Bay Area. For a little less than $25, the portion was absolutely gigantic - it came with 8+ pieces of half crabs. Eat this with rice to help with the spice though lol! The spicy pork belly was also amazing (and very spicy haha)! The pork had the perfect amount of fattiness. It was generously sauced up so every bite had a whole bunch of flavor. The fish cake and the seaweed salad were only $4 each and we can never resist this, and they were also so good! This initial visit was great, the person who helped us was also really welcoming. We'll definitely be back!

    Spicy Pork Lunch Box

We ordered some of their lunch boxes as well as some meat later for shabu shabu. I got the spicy pork lunch box, while some of my family ordered the bulgogi lunch box. I have to say, everything was delicious! I've had lunch boxes like these at other stores, but this one was by far the best I've had! The spicy pork was just the right amount of heat. It was soft and pulled apart really easily. The banchan included pickled radish, mushrooms, spicy bean sprouts, kimchi, cucumber kimchi, and egg. It also came with a small portion of rice that I thought was just the right amount for me. It was a really satisfying meal both flavor- and appetite-wise. I will solely be going here for the lunch boxes as they were well-priced and delicious. Another thing to note is that these lunch boxes are only available from Monday to Wednesday between the times of 11am and 3pm. Make sure to get them when you can!

My family really enjoy their cabbage Kimchi, fish cake and marinated bulgogi. The meat is very juicy, tender and marinated thoroughly.

I had ordered a fish from Barons and I went to pick it up. I asked is it deboned and head off? The guy sais to me you talked to me and you didn't ask for that with an attitude. Well I had spoken to a few people and had asked. Then I noticed there were several bills in the tip jar which is not near the staff. I said you should really cover that and he said oh were fine once again with attitude. I don't appreciate being treated badly and I won't be going back.

[From the web] "A Denver steak, also known as Zabuton, is a relatively new, well-marbled, and tender cut of beef from the chuck primal section under the shoulder blade. It comes from the serratus ventralis muscle and is prized for its rich flavor and buttery texture, similar to a ribeye, despite being from a traditionally tougher area of the cow. It is best cooked using high-heat searing methods to fully develop its flavor and tenderize it. After cooking it, it wasn't as tender as we had hoped. He said you need to braise it. D'oh! We enjoy looking at the customer's dry aged beef sitting in the display case. Support your local business.

I ended up stumbling upon C & H Meat and read their reviews and seen some pictures so I thought we'll give it a try. C & H Meat is inside Lake Chabot Public Market and there are a few restaurants in there as well. We looked around at what they had to offer and got what we wanted. They already have them prepackaged, so that was nice. I forgot what kind of meats we got but everything was just delicious! I'm glad that there is a place closer by in case we do last minute hot pot or kbbq. Will be back here again in the future.

Love that there is a closer place to get Korean meats and basic items without having to drive all…read morethe way out to Oakland or the H Marts in San Jose. Bulgogi and Chadol Baegi (thin sliced beef brisket - a staple at KBBQ restaurants) are excellent. I used to have to get the thin sliced beef eye round at 99 Ranch if I wanted to KBBQ at home. Brisket at C&H Meat is a 100x better in terms of flavor and quality for the same price compared to 99 Ranch - $12.99/lb. They have a pretty cool market section that includes craft beer and basic refrigerated/frozen korean goods on the left wall. There is also a small produce section to the left of the butcher counter - not the freshest produce I would say, but not bad if you need to grab something like soybean sprouts and don't want to make another stop. I'd recommend you come here earlier in the day as they do run out of meats towards closing time. Went about 1.5 hours before closing on a Saturday and they were practically cleared out on meats.
