The kao soi chicken noodle curry was thick and flavorful... so good! And the massaman beef curry was thick, rich and flavorful as well, with plenty of veggies and beef! Not watered down like a lot of other places. Ended with our favorite mango sticky rice I could have eaten 5 of these! what a nice place! the staff was super friendly from the get-go, and the menu had many enticing items for us to pick from. we decided to go with the goong ob woon sen, crab pad pong garee, and the hoy jor (dragon eggs) - all of which were superb. portions were very generous, so we had leftovers to take home and enjoy. its a great area, so i would highly recommended trying it out if youre ever around! read more

Somewhat "upscale" thai dining with standard thai dishes. I agree with another review I saw about the attentiveness of the host/staff. Their host stand is placed outside the peripheral view of anyone working the bar or other counter. I had to step past it in order to be in the view and grab the host's attention to be seated. The pad thai noodles are very soft and silky and the tamarind flavor was more distinct. I personally enjoyed this dish a lot. The sweet basil clams had a delicious sauce. But my mother and I felt that they did not clean the clams free of sand super well. She also said the chef should stir fry more gently because a lot of the shells were cracked. read more

Tried out this new Thai spot in Tualatin, and while I always love supporting local restaurants, this one was a bit hit or miss. We started with the salad rolls, which unfortunately were underwhelming -- the veggies didn't taste very fresh (the iceberg lettuce had a reddish tint), and the rolls themselves lacked flavor. Thankfully, the peanut sauce was rich and flavorful enough to help redeem the dish. The "golden bag" appetizer, which sounded great on the menu with real crab meat, didn't land for us at all. The filling was overly fishy and just tasted off. We let the staff know, and they were kind enough to remove it from the bill, which we really appreciated. For mains, we had the Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao. They didn't ask us about spice level, which we wish they had, because both dishes would've been perfect with just a little kick. That said, the noodle texture and base flavors were solid -- comforting and satisfying. Overall, the service was friendly and accommodating, and there are a few promising aspects here. But with inconsistent flavors and freshness issues, I'm not sure I'd return soon. Hoping they can work out the kinks as they settle in. read more

Service by Rames was great. Very nice and attentive. The ambiance is comforting and you don't feel crowded in. Tried the Golden Bags, Honey Lime Juice Chicken Wrap (yum) first. Then had Pad Thai and Thai Fried Rice with Shrimp. (Forgot to tell them the heat so the orders came without but then he provided us with the necessary seasonings). First of all, great location as it's next to the 3 mermaids and when it gets too crowded, they can pop in here. That's exactly what happened to us and we are so happy that we did. Very welcoming and spacious. Staff was friendly and understanding of our 2 boy toddlers being a little crazy. We ordered the papaya salad (normal style), green curry (medium spice) and chicken pad see ew for the kiddos. We were more than pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. One of the best green curries I've had and the papaya salad was spicy enough but not too spicy to take a break. Even the pad see ew was tasty and was still good as left overs. But I'm keeping it at 4 stars and not reducing because the yellow curry was very good, but best to get it with *not* chicken. Also, the veggie rolls with the peanut sauce were delicious! That peanut sauce was soooo good, I just wanted to eat a bowl of it lol. And don't forget, the eggplant tofu we had before is as good as it gets! Wow, we are seriously blown away by this delicious Thai meal. Highly recommend trying the pom pom wrap if you're looking for a refreshing appetizer. My BF and I went here randomly to grab some Thai food. The place looked nice, so we thought we'd give it a go. The parking lot was very tight and limited on spaces due to sharing parking with an apartment complex. I was very surprised that as soon as we walked through the door an extension cord ran across the entrance floor. I made a point to tell my partner to not trip on it. He's much taller, so it wasn't as easy for him to see. Other than that the place looked clean smelled nice. The staff were polite, so it pains me to say they weren't as professionally kempt, as I would have liked or as aware of customer needs. The place wasn't busy, and they had ample staff. So there was no reason for the service to be so laggy. I'd love to say the food made up for the other stuff, but unfortunately, the food and even my drink wasn't very good. We ordered the Pad See Ew, Yellow Curry, Summer rolls and one Thai Iced Tea. The pad see ew was over cooked or something because it was super sticky and clumpy. The curry needed salt as it was very bland, but they didn't offer salt on the tables. The summer rolls only came in tofu and were open ended on both sides, so after the second bite all the insides fell out the back. Even my Thai iced tea was bland. Usually, Thai teas are sweeter, but this was watered down. The brighter side was they put this really cute, little dog ice cube of some kind in it which was a nice surprise. But it didn't help with the flavor. Total cost of our meal was about $45, plus tip. So all in all, I really wanted to like this place but was disappointed. I would probably give this another chance in the future, but my BF says he won't go with me. LOL. read more

Extremely Disappointing experience!! The WORST customer service I've ever encountered. Disrespectful staff, especially Sam. He was extremely rude both in person and over the phone. When he took my sister's order incorrectly (his own mistake), he laughed instead of apologizing. When I called to ask why he treated my sister that way, he said, "I'm very busy right now," and hung up the phone. That level of behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. We actually went there yesterday, spent a good amount of money, and came back again today to support the business, only to be treated disrespectfully. Laughing and speaking in another language that customers don't understand while making fun of them is not only rude, it's humiliating! Yin Dee, please train your staff, especially Sam, on basic customer service and respect. Every paying customer deserves to be treated with courtesy, not mocked. To be honest, the food isn't even that great. I don't understand why my sister gave this place another chance, only to be treated horribly again. We came here for dinner, and stood in front of the "Please wait to be seated" sign for several minutes even as we watched at least two young men working at the bar and at the area to the inside right. Not one person even LOOKED at us, acknowledged our presence, or ever greet us as we waited for several more minutes. No one even said, "we'll be with you in a minute" or ANYthing as a greeting that would make a customer feel like they were welcomed! Finally after several MORE minutes, one of the two guys came over to say we would have to wait for a table. We saw two tables needing to be cleaned after previous customers and at least one empty table. After the lack of any greeting and the "you gotta wait!" being the only communication, we chose to walk out and plan not to try again to eat there in the future! read more

I'm extremely disappointed and upset with how I was treated today by the male Thai staff named Sam. I called to order an egg roll and a pancake with condensed milk. I mentioned it twice, yet Sam misunderstood and thought I said crab cake. When I came to pick up my order, he was already visibly upset and talked to me in a condescending, disrespectful tone -- like I was a child. While telling his coworker to make the pancake, they started laughing in Thai and I clearly heard them say "crab cake" and "pancake." It was humiliating and completely unprofessional. He also told me where to sit, and when I didn't want to sit there, he repeated it again in an unpleasant way. We were just there yesterday and had a really good experience when the Thai lady was serving -- she was very polite. But Sam was extremely rude. You would expect some level of respect, but instead, I was made to feel small and mocked. Even if there was a misunderstanding, it should have never reached that point. I even called to complain, and instead of apologizing, he was sarcastic and didn't say sorry. A simple apology could have fixed everything, but there was no apology at all -- just sarcasm and attitude when I called to complain. No customer deserves to be treated this way. Sam's rude, arrogant behavior completely ruined my trust and impression of this place. Absolutely unacceptable and deeply disappointing. read more

Our server explained to us that the curry paste they use was made in house using authentic Galanga Lemongrass- I am no expert in Thai food but I can say that whatever they are doing made a difference! I live nearby and have been craving a good Thai place in the area! I adore Thai food but can be quite picky about it too. But this place exceeded my expectations. Not only is the atmosphere lovely but the food is even better. The staff are kind and attentive, very easy to talk to. The cocktail was lychee deliciousness and the name had me dying (Moo Deng hehe), so creative! The Pom Pom wraps absolutely blew me away though, vegetarian but the flavors were incredible. Really packs a punch, is definitely a new favorite of mine. The Tom kha was also very good, next time I will order it a bit spicier but in reality I had no complaints.
