Stopped by with my family tonight for the first time, and wanted to leave a review because the worker was incredibly nice to us! He said his name was Jonathan (?). Sorry if I spelled it wrong! Anyway he was super cool and gave us recommendations. I took his offer on the mango lychee tea and my boyfriend got the banana milk tea and they both tasted great. The boba texture is really good too. We also ordered the Thai tea, one more mango lychee tea, and another banana milk tea for my family. They have the standard classics in the most popular list, but their specialty drinks are really what stood out to me with chrysanthemum logan, aiyu lemon green tea, and basil seed herbal tea. If it wasn't for it being 9:00 pm when I got here I would have totally tried their Vietnamese coffee with ube or matcha. Aiyu lemon green tea: 5/5 I liked how refreshing it was and the jelly in it made me feel healthy. Roflll Made me think of those health jellies I get with collagen or vitamin C. Just googled it and aiyu jelly is supposed to help with your digestion! But it contains lots of sugar so bad for people with diabetes. Decided to come here with a friend on a Saturday evening and there were plenty of seating. I'm not sure why but it was hard for us to find this place even when they had a sign up, but if you're like us and is also having trouble finding this place, it is located right next to Hawaiian BBQ Restaurant. Anyways, I ordered matcha milk tea with boba. It wasn't as sweet and you can taste the matcha, but it also has this other flavor I wasn't used to. Regardless it wasn't watered down and didn't completely taste like milk. The boba was chewy and freshly made. Staff was also super nice and patient. I don't come here too often but when I do I can always rely on this place being chill with plenty of space to study (with outlets!). The vibe is cute and well-decorated with awesome oldies music playing in the background. The employee who took my order also had enthusiastic energy which I can always appreciate. I don't recall having a bad experience with their drinks from previous times I've gone here but this time I ordered the Mango milk tea (which is my go-to at most boba places) and I was pretty disappointed. There was no taste of tea at all in the Mango milk tea-- just a very sugary mango milk. It was not worth the $6 at all. It would've been great to be given a heads-up from the employee (who I assume should know what all drinks from the menu taste like) that this drink is on the sweeter side and asked if any drink adjustments could be made (less sugar, etc) so that it would fit my preferences. A few weeks ago, I came with my friend after we initially tried their coconut jelly drink with matcha foam. It was a unique drink and surprisingly good! However, we came back another time and I ordered the strawberry matcha milk tea. It was not good. The matcha was not good quality (about the same level as Starbucks' matcha) and the strawberry syrup was incredibly strong. The syrup didn't mesh well with the drink despite my attempts to mix it. I hate wasting food but it was to the point that I couldn't even drink it and had to toss it in the trash. I've never ever done that with a drink before, and I felt heartbroken doing it. Service was great. There was only one worker and he was super kind and helpful. There was also a jar where if you didn't know what drink you wanted, you could pull a slip from the jar and pick out a random order & they'll make it for you. That was really unique! All in all, service is great, the space is cozy, but the drinks could be improved. With an oversaturated market of boba/tea shops, you have to be different and make your drinks memorable. Customer service has always been pleasant. Their teas are good and seem fresh. Ambiance is nice and they offer some pastries which I have yet to try. The location is easy to find and parking is easy. My only concern, is their boba has always been a little hard, this happened to me twice on different occasions. Wish the Tea was more strong. The grass jelly was great with it though. Took a sip of other drink, not too sweet even though not adjusted I love anything salted egg yolk & this shop definitely made a good one - tasre & consistency is definitely there. The cream is so delicious and definitely unique, not weird at all. Since other boba shops don't have that yet. Cashier is happy to answer any questions to provide you with a happy drink choice experience. Music is relaxing and it's an eclectic set up where board games can be played. If you're hungry, there's food next door. Taste wise.... "Very GOOD"! This location does not discriminate and takes all paying customers, including CASH! Yes, your kids can come here and not have to use a credit card or Apple Pay. However, you have that option as well. They take ALL paying customers. Server was very quick, accommodating and approachable. Definitely would return! At about 6pm there were customers about every 5-10 minutes. Most coffee/tea places in Chino Hills close at 6pm which removes customers who are still working, but this place was smart, they remain open late enough that you can come after work to get a quick wake up, pick me up! We wish you Yin Yang lots of fun customers and it's a great business idea for drinks :) Your corner you could use to have young artist bring in their guitar/keyboard, speaker, mic and have live music night!
