Located on the makai side, 1st floor, a few steps away from the food court. Friendly smiling faces greet you with a hand menu to review with some of the more popular choices. You do have the option to mix and match however your heart contends. Tasty, fresh & satisfying! Price is reasonable. Clean counters.
This place is so good! The frozen yogurt had a nice tart tang to it. The strawberries were perfectly ripe and the honeycomb was a nice addition. There are too many toppings to try. Also, the strawberry tanghulu had a nice sugary crunch. I need to try the other fruits.
The frozen yogurt here comes in a really good portion, especially for the size and convenience. I do wish the yogurt was a bit more tart, but the flavor is mild and pleasantly sweet. I really enjoyed the slice of honeycomb and the strawberries. Overall, a solid spot if you want something easy, satisfying, and not overly heavy.
I've tried the Tanghulu before and thought it was great, but recently I tried the yogurt ice cream and omg it was delicious! I got the Yoajung Signature because I really wanted the honeycomb and then added strawberries and the fruity pebbles was the free topping of the day. It was so addicting! I didn't want to stop eating it. We also got the strawberry tanghulu and that was good as usual. I think I prefer the mandarin orange one though.

This place has lots of fresh fruits on a stick along with a honeycomb that you can add to your yogurt. They also sell honeycomb all different weight and prices . Service is fast and friendly and always a line . If in the area try the yogurt and see if it taste like Yami Yogurt natural flavor . Support local
I tried Yoajung's Signature and really enjoyed it! The yogurt reminded me of Yami Yogurt; it came with the free topping of the day; fresh strawberries plus a drizzle of honey and a piece of honeycomb. At first, I thought the honeycomb looked a little skimpy, but it ended up being just the right amount since it was so rich and flavorful. We also got a strawberry Tanghulu and a grape Tanghulu, and the kids devoured both;they loved them! I did buy an extra piece of honeycomb to take home ($18.90), but unfortunately, it was a letdown. When I opened it, it had a moldy smell, and after tasting it, that same moldy flavor came through. The packaging was cute, but not airtight--it came in a paper-like container with a plastic lid. Since honeycomb can mold if exposed to moisture, they may want to reconsider how it's packaged. I was really looking forward to enjoying it, so that part was disappointing. Overall, the experience was mostly positive, but I'd be cautious with the take-home honeycomb.
So happy to finally get a chance to try this yogurt shop. It's usually busy with line and I always wonder why. Now I get why it's so good! Ala Moana was doing a promo that day and was excited to try something here. I got a regular greek yogurt with granola and added on honey comb topping. Surprisingly, the honey comb was sooo soft. It was perfect along with the greek yogurt. Sooo good! Frozen yogurt was so smooth and soft. Not overly sweet. I'll be back for dessert here. Love greek yogurt!
Frozen yogurt and other desserts like ice cream and Tanghulu! Yoajung is located on the bottom level of Ala Moana so there's parking all around the mall. We did not see any places to sit but there is a food court nearby that has seating. The service was efficient and they explained the types of tanghulu they had. We tried the frozen yogurt signature tart with honeycomb and the topping for the day was fruity pebbles. I got it without the topping but it was still good. The tart yogurt and the sweet honey made for a great combo. It was a bit pricey for me but still good to try. Next time I'm hoping to try some of the tanghulu!
You should know that the store front is literally facing the ocean. It is not located inside the Makai Food Court, but outside along the walkway to the right of the food court entrance (by Mrs. Fields and the Curry House). Friendly service is provided via a walk-up counter, so we bought our treats and grabbed a table inside. We thoroughly enjoyed our yogurt and tanghulu! The yogurt is tart (but sweeter than Yami Yogurt's natural yogurt if anyone remembers that), so the slice of honeycomb and lychee popping boba with the strawberries were perfect together! The orange tanghulu did not disappoint! I was worried about the "candy" coating being too thick or sticking to my teeth, but that was no problem. I took the honeycomb beeswax home in my teeth instead. I definitely see myself going back to try different flavors and different fruits. They also sell honeycomb to take home. (Don't forego the honeycomb just bc it stuck in my teeth)!

The sugar I made was too hard and ended up cutting my mouth when I tried to eat it. So much better I just buy it here offered at Yoajung. They come in red or green grapes, strawberry, blueberry, tangerine (my favorite, definitely get that one), and pineapple on the weekends. They are $4-$5 each skewer. They seem to be super popular, possibly from exposure on social media. Their line was long. Good for them!
Came by today after donating blood since they gave a discount coupon :) they're located makai side by the food court street level. Service from everyone, including the owner, was super friendly (as usual)! Definitely a perfect refreshing sweet treat on a hot summer day!! read more
Stopped by for a quick dessert. No topping, just plain frozen yogurt. Sweet, tart and nostalgic of Pink Berry. It is a popular chain from Korea and to be able to try it in Hawaii was a nice experience. It is located right by the Ala Moana food court, on the outside part. Friendly and quick service. I also tried their dubai chocolate mochi. A bit of an overspend on a little item. read more

What is tanghulu? I was quite curious. I had seen videos online of how to make these skewered fruits, but had never tried any... Let's get some! Located on the ground level of Ala Moana Center, outside of the Makai Food Court, between Curry House and Yomie's, Yoajung, opened in September 2023. It features Korean style soft serve, but none of the flavors are non-dairy. The gal at the counter was very sweet and helpful. She rang me up and put the skewer of green grapes between the Mandarin oranges and strawberries... and let me take a photo of her hands! LOL! Thank you! At first, I ate right on the sidewalk near Yoajung... until a sketchy lady tried to talk with me. I thought that I should escape to safety in case she started asking me for money... haha! Sitting in the air-conditioned Makai Market Food Court was much cleaner, brighter, and pleasant! The fruit skewers were interesting. The sugar coating was crunchy and a bit messy. My face was getting sticky from trying to bite the fruits off of the skewers and sliding the fruits down the skewers. The sugar coating stuck to my teeth, too. Hmmm... It was fun in a way, but I wouldn't rush and do it again. Hee hee! It was a learning experience! read more
Found in Ala Moana Center, they have lots of tasty desserts for any sweet tooth lover! The cream itself is tart which pairs well with the sweet honeycomb and topping you receive as part of their signature! We were sad to hear that somisomi had closed at the Ala Moana mall, but we were excited to hear that something new popped up in its place...and that they may have tanghulu! We visited this small shop outside the food court area, and it was delightful. The service was very good here. It was our first time, and the nice girls behind the counter thoroughly explained the process. Almost everything is made to order and you can watch them make your food! When I say almost everything is made to order...I mean except the tanghulu! Apparently, they make the tanghulu each day, but it isn't ready until around 1pm...and we were there in the morning when they opened...so bummed! We did share the Li hing and pineapple version. It was very light and refreshing. Dont take this the wrong way, but it tastes healthy! Airy and with a slight tang...this is reminiscent of yami yogurt...according to my wife. She isn't a li hing fan, but she loved the yogurt...so we went back so she could order her own with berries. We will be back to try the tanghulu....after 1pm... read more

Honestly I've tried tanghulu in multiple places in Honolulu and this is the only place with consistently perfect fruit with tanghulu. Absolutely worth every penny. Go here for tanghulu!! Yum! Great prices & great customer service. read more
I am not sure if you remember, but I definitely remember the frozen yogurt craze back in the 2010s. There was frozen yogurt everywhere and they randomly shut down. I have never fully recovered from that crisis, along with somi somi(the predecessor of this location)'s closure. So to preface, Yojang had a lot to live up to. So it ended up being a pretty disappointing and let down experience. We got the signature regular. The size was fine, as expected. This was my first time trying honey comb so I was quite excited and pretty pleased with it. If you like honey you would definitely enjoy it as a topping. The texture is fun but some may not enjoy it. The froyo was fine, tart and slightly creamy. Much lighter than regular ice cream of course which I enjoyed after a big meal. The free topping was the gummy bear, which I didn't realize till we already ordered, not a fault of anyone else's but MINES. To preface, I've never had gummy bears as a froyo or ice cream topping. To be honest, the gummy bears fully ruined the experience. It hardened and made it extremely hard to eat. It also started to melt into the froyo and made it extremely sweet towards the end. This review may come off a bit harsh however, I am a big sweet tooth girly and this was so disappointing that we couldn't even finish it and threw it away. Though, I do not regret trying it at least once especially for the (overpriced) honey comb. At its price point, I would at least expect something more visually appealing LOL. read more
I passed by this place at Ala Moana a few times and finally decided to try it. They're where Somi Somi used to be. I didn't want a full meal and knew the frozen yogurt would hit the spot. I was so happy that I came here. The Korean yogurt ice cream was delicious. If you remember Yami Yogurt from back in the day, that's what it tastes like. I got the Yoajung Signature $8.99 (yogurt ice cream, honeycomb, free topping of the day). The honeycomb was so good and went well with the yogurt ice cream. You don't find real honeycomb at any other yogurt place. They rotate the free topping of the day, so be sure to ask. The day that I went it was free fruity pebbles cereal. This is now my favorite dessert place. I can't stop thinking about their yogurt ice cream and have been craving it since I came here the other day. I will be sure to stop by tomorrow. They also do stamp cards to redeem for free items after it's filled. Don't forget to get yours. read more
Located at Ala Moana Center, this place is pretty easy to spot if you're walking outside the mall's food court. It was busy on a Saturday night but we were able get our order fast Ordered the frozen yogurt with some toppings. The yogurt flavor is more on the tart side so if you're not used to this flavor, it might be a surprise for you. It was great Only recommendation is if they can add more toppings as you have to pay $1 for each option. This place can be pricey for most people, compared to other yogurt stores where they weigh what you get. The tanghulu was yummy It has the perfect crunch, not too thick of a coating. All in all, will definitely come back when I get my yogurt cravings. read more
We were deciding between Meet Fresh and Yoajung tonight. Yoajung won! Initially I was going to order the plain yogurt with honeycomb. But the owner suggested I try today's special with pomegranate seeds. I asked for the seeds on the side because I wasn't sure if it would be really tart or not. The pomegranate seeds that were recommended by one of the owners proved delicious! The owners are always there working hard to support the business. Yes, the price of the special is $8.99 is a bit high, but it really is delicious. I think it's worth the splurge. The counters are well lit and colorful with so many toppings to choose from. I always enjoy the fresh honeycomb and honey drizzle. I'll be back. Don't forget to stamp your card. I almost forgot today and they reminded me by asking if I had one. Wanted to try this place out after seeing that they had tanghulu. The froyo was definitely more yogurty than I'm used to but it was still delicious and not too sweet. The portions were actually quite decent even though at first glance they don't look like it. The froyo itself wasn't too heavy though so I was actually able to finish almost all of mine. As for the tanghulu, I have never had tanghulu in Asia so I can't compare but the sugar coating was nice and thin and not too hard and paired well with the fruit. One cool thing they do is that they have a random free topping everyday that you can add to any item for free which I thought was nice. In order to get here you have to go out through the doors in the food court on the side of where Jollibee and the garage is and then take a right. I was surprised Somi Somi was gone and no more of my favorite crispy taiyaki but willing to try this new dessert place. At first I thought it was with regular vanilla ice cream, but it's actually yogurt. It didn't seem appealing but I decided to try it, since it was yogurt. I missed Yami Yogurt that used to be here at Ala Moana and it kind of reminds me of Yami Yogurt! I got the Yuzu syrup with the honey comb! Wow it looked simple but the yuzu sauce on the yogurt was so yummy and refreshing with the honeycomb! I just loved it and was willing to get it again. When my friend and I came to have dinner at Ala Moana another day, I mentioned about coming here for dessert and she didn't seem excited until I told her it's like the Yami yogurt but a little different. She also like Yami yogurt so we both took the Yoajung signature yogurt with the honeycomb and added Yuzu syrup. This time I took the free topping since it was passion fruit jellies. As I ate the honey from the honey comb, it just flowed from it. I eventually chewed on it. My friend also had a change of heart and said really liked the yogurt! Believe the hype. Visited Yoajung after seeing it on Instagram. I've never been a big froyo fan, but that was about to change. Yoajung is located just outside the food court, facing the beach park. Exit next Jollibee, turn left, bam, prepared for the goods. The yogurt comes in various sides and includes the free topping of the day. Additional toppings range in price. We got a chocolate shell and blueberries. Considering it's Ala Moana, I was impressed by the price, but even more so by the flavor. It's got a good tartness and the berries are SO fresh. Even better than the yogurt was the service. I don't recall the girl's name, but her customer service was exceptional. We've been back several times since and will continue to do so. Yoajung opened outside of Ala Moana Center's Makai Food Court about three months ago and I finally gave it a try twice in the past week. They are situated on the street level, Makai (ocean) side, in between the two ocean (makai) side entranceways/exits. It is a Korean frozen yogurt eatery. I believe it is a franchise. They offer regular and large bowls of soft serve froyo that is, as perusual, on the tart side. Their signature bowl comes with a piece of honeycomb and the free topping of the day. The honeycomb provides a light sweetness to offset the tartness of the froyo...just the right balance. My initial visit: I requested a signature regular bowl...$8.99...which came with a free topping of granola. Very refreshing even though it was a rainy day. Yes, it is wintertime in Honolulu - a cool 70 degree day. Second time, I got a signature large bowl at $11.99. The free topping was crushed peppermint candy, which I passed on and got an add-on of Yuzu sauce. Yoajung offers additions of syrups, powders, and your typical froyo toppings from $.50 to $1 - fruit is $1.25. Their Yuzu syrup went well with the frozen yogurt and honeycomb. Honeycomb is offered as a separate portion for $2.50. Boxes and bowls are also for retail sale; $169 and $35, respectively, as I recall. They offer candied fruits on skewers...Tanghulu, don't ask me to pronounce this or spell it without reference. It looks good. If you like froyo, you have a new spot to visit in town. I may have to try yoajung with Matcha powder and condensed milk...also the strawberry Tanghulu. Sevice is quick and excellent. read more

I knew I made the right choice when the first spoonful of froyo went into my mouth. Tart, creamy, and perfect for a sweet fix after Kbbq. The froyo was so smooth too, gliding on my tongue. The flavor reminds me of the Beijing yogurts I sip on from time to time. The classic tart flavor pairs well with many toppings so I decided on strawberries, which ended up being the perfect tangy combination I craved. My friends got the Yoajung special which came with honeycomb on top! The honeycomb was so subtle but added a lovely sweet flavor and sticky texture to the contrasting flavor and texture of the yogurt. I loved both so much but I would definitely try the Yoajung special because it's so unique and you can always add more toppings on that of that! They also do a free topping of the day and I was skeptical of the granola at first but it had the perfect crunch with the froyo!! I was taking awhile to order and the cashier was very sweet and respectful, not rushing me at all during the process! The man serving me also gave me a giant smile that melted my heart. I enjoy yogurt desserts and drinks. Their signature yogurt soft serve was not tart enough and pretty icy. It was pretty plain tasting. I opted out from their topping of the day. There was not enough honey. It would taste better with more honey drizzle around the soft serve. Very pricey for a small cup of soft serve. read more

Is froyo making a comeback?? I was excited to try this place out. I miss yogurtland and menchies. The honeycomb intrigued me. I like honey and I've seen honeycomb on charcuterie boards but I've never like eaten pieces of it. The signature comes with the froyo (only 1 flavor: tart) and then it comes with a piece of honeycomb and whatever the topping of the day is. Captain crunch was the flavor of the day today. I'm not a fan of captain crunch so I asked for the signature omit the captain crunch. For $9, I think it's very expensive. I didn't actually like chewing through the honeycomb. You get little pieces of was coagulating in your mouth while you eat it. I ended up trying to like suck out the honey from the comb and dissolving the water soluable sugar while trying to hold the non soluable wax on my tongue. It was tricky. The "yogurt ice cream" on the menu is confusing. Is it yogurt or ice cream? Is soft serve the same as ice cream? So this take out counter set up took over the spot of somi somi and opens up to the makai side parking lot. There are no tables, and standing down in the parking lot basement of Ala Moana isn't the most pleasant place to be. You can wlak into the food court and enjoy your froyo soft serve yogurt ice cream in there. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be back. The yogurt flavor is good, and idk where else you can get froyo anymore, but I definitely won't be getting the honeycomb. Which is what this place is known for. read more
Something cool is served here... Yoajung is a new Froyo...no wait Yogurt Ice Cream...is it the same...!? Well whenever there's something new and I ask some questions like this the answer is basically nowhere near the answer I usually am searching for so I just went for it and decided today was it. Located on the Ala Moana Center street level right outside Makai Market on the beach side the menu is really plain and simple...Yogurt Ice Cream or the Signature (Yogurt Ice cream with honeycomb and today's free topping) paying the additional $2 is basically the honeycomb so unless you want that and like the free topping of the day go for it...today's topping...Gummy Bears! Ewww that was a sign I should've turned away since I didn't feel like looking at the ridiculously massive small print topping menu is insane! What I really wish is they create a suggested combination menu as trying to decided is like staring into the abyss. I did get the Yoajung Signature and the yogurt is very good and wished I just got it plain instead though the serving is so painfully small for $8.99 is just too pricy for me I ate some of the honeycomb and none of the gummy bears a few bites of the yogurt ice cream and I was done. Came here for the tanghulu! I saw someone post about this place on instagram and I had to try their tanghulu. I did the strawberry and grape. I will say I like the strawberry better bc it's like a sour sweet well balanced flavor. The grape was more of sweet sweet if that makes sense lol. But overall both were delicious! I did cut my mouth on it once but I don't know if that's due to user error v the actual product. Price was reasonable as I was too lazy to make it for myself. I was so focused on getting the tanghulu I didn't try anything else but after reading reviews I will be back for yogurt (and honestly probably more tanghulu)! read more
