    cake batter with rainbow sprinkles

decent shop, very small. has some cozy seating, arcade machines, & (sometimes) 2 sizes for froyo. the flavors are decently vast, they tend to change every once & a while. good amount of toppings from sauces & candies, but careful because it adds to the weight that you can only see at the end when paying - per lb ! - of your froyo; which adds up fairly quickly, fairly fast,,,not a major fan, not super worth the price. they also sell coffee, boba, & ice cream but none of which i've tried. an upside is they do have a rewards program, but the downside is it takes forever to get anything from it. if your looking for a good treat, this is an okay self serve yourself froyo pkace, but be ready for the expensive price

So tasty with tons of choices. I really enjoyed the cake batter and egg nog froyo. The toppings are endless. Occasionally they have fill your cup for $6... That is a definite take advantage of night. Otherwise you are looking at an easy $10+/cup depending on how glutenoues you are feeling.

The closing time was 9:30. My husband had the ultimate cookie blizzard. He said it was ok but he would not get it again. My daughter had the confetti cake deep cone. She loved it! I had the banana split. It was better than I expected. Plus the banana was fresh and hard and not old and mushy. Restaurant was clean and the staff was nice. I would come back and also recommend it.

I did not get a receipt. I was in the drive-thru lane so going back inside was out of the question as there is no parking access from that drive-thru lane. The young person working the window was curt at best. Zero personality. Why would you put a face like that on your business? Not a thank you. A look. Smile. Nothing but a bag of food stuck out the window. Upon pulling into an adjacent parking area to eat my lunch I noticed that both of my hotdogs had no condiments on them. None in the bag and I was not asked if I wanted any. I did assume that they'd have the basic ketchup and mustard. And lastly, what is it with the fast food places lately when you order a small drink and you get a much larger one? What a waste. Other revues have commented on the cost of a blizzard and I agree. My wife and I buy a small blizzard each and it's north of $10 or more. Forget asking for extra butterfinger or something like that...you are charged for it but really don't see anything extra in there. Probably going to be done with this place. Previous owners were friendly at the window and when you came into the dining room. New owners...not so much. The hotdog without anything on it was hot, I will say that, and the bun appeared to be steamed which is a good thing but a hotdog without toppings? Seriously? Who does that??

Ice cream flavors are a mixture of classics, and things like cardamom and matcha, providing interest and not just oddball spices for the sake of quirkiness. As far as I can tell, Always Summer isn't part of a chain, but the look and feel of the space is very polished and coordinated. Between their merch display, and the forest of ice cream scoops hanging from the ceiling, the design aesthetic stands out. The people behind the counter were friendly and efficient, just what you would hope for in this type of establishment.

They even had a gulab jamun inspired ice cream, which really caught my attention. There were four of us, so we ordered a sundae with a brownie and two scoops of ice cream - it was generous and easily enough to share. It was my first time having a brownie served warm with ice cream, and I absolutely loved that touch. The fruit flavors were especially enjoyable, particularly the mango and banana chocolate chip. The cardamom flavor was a bit overpowering for my taste, but the mango was definitely a standout. The staff were incredibly patient and let us sample as many flavors as we wanted, all with a smile. I'll definitely be coming back!

Our group of five stopped in, after visiting the nearby lavender farm on a Saturday afternoon, with all of us loving it. It was a beautiful afternoon in the Pacific Northwest, and our son-in-law drove us to this shop when my wife's mom suggested we all go for ice cream (her treat). Nobody disagreed (duh). It is located in downtown Woodinville, with non-metered street parking being the norm. Serviced was great and it wasn't too busy, which was a good thing since the unusual flavors required a bit of sampling. My daughter and her husband got a 2 scooper ($8.95). The rest of us shared a flight ($13.95) which is a choice of SIX flavors in a banana split type dish. Quite a few of the offerings are Vegan (relying on pea proteins), and are very serious about eliminating cross contamination (dedicated scoops for these ice creams that are stored in a different freezer). There was outside seating, so their dog was able to sit with us as well. Out of the six flavors chosen (Vegan Soursop Sorbet, Pickle, Vanilla, Espresso Bean, Strawberry Balsamic, Death by Chocolate), I really liked the Espresso and Strawberry. The Pickle was definitely worth trying, and one could clearly taste the diced/minced pickle pieces throughout, and could actually taste the pickle juice squirting out a little bit as you bit into it. It's unusual and a seasonal flavor. After visiting, I learnt that the owner had graduated from the dairy program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which made me happy. Both my wife and I went to school there, and we raised our daughter in the Madison area, with many happy memories of eating both Babcock ice cream from the University Union and the Chocolate Shoppe (which is HQed there). I found it interesting that this store is located so close to the University of Washington, which I've always thought of as the second 'UW', to the primary UW in Wisconsin. But in reality, outside of the old Big Ten country (i.e. the Midwest), it looks like UW is thought of as Washington, with the domain uw.edu belonging to it, as well. Oh well...
