I talked about what brought me in and she explained to me about Pilates and what it could do for me. It all made sense! Katia's first question on every session is: "what does your body have to tell me today" and we focus more on that area. After a few visits I could see and feel a difference in my body. She would make suggestions on things I could do at home and day-to-day to enhance my workout. Her knowledge of the body and the one-on-one attention to me made my Pilates experience in person and online the best. The longer I have been under Katia's care, the more evolved I have become with other services she gradually offers as needed, such as Reiki, Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Cupping, Ear Candling to name a few. All of which have been extremely helpful to me and my healing. One day we were talking about how affected I was by the loss of my mother and she suggested some Coaching Sessions. I've been with them for almost a year now and I haven't been to anywhere else after. I feel the difference in my body, mind, and breath. I really enjoy the mindfulness and endurance I have practiced from their classes. I genuinely look forward to coming here throughout chaotic and stressful weeks. My body gets the deep stretch and strength it craves. I feel a connection to the muscles that normally stay dormant. Plan to arrive early in case you have to park across the street. My main issues are with the strict membership policy and the crowdedness inside the studio. Most instructors are talented not only in their practice but in teaching their students. I learn and follow best by seeing a demonstration not just listening to a lecture. I had an instructor that just used the mic to give directions without showing us. One class resembled a karaoke session which was fun the first couple songs but it was dark and I couldn't see beyond the bodies next to me (they're closer than you think btw). I wasn't sure if I was using the correct form, where the instructor was, or what we were supposed to be doing. Fine for the advanced yogis but leaving us beginners lost. Overall I enjoy attending most classes here. A big issue is it's so crowded. During class you're almost on top of each other so much so that they have to stagger who bends where. The walkways get so congested and I didn't even take a chance with the locker rooms bc the people in there looked like sardines. I see so many studios other than Ra popping up left and right that it would probably benefit them to open up more locations.

They have a good amount of classes to take, and they also have 1-2 weekly affordable community classes taught by a new yoga teacher. My only suggestion (and maybe it's different since I've last been there) is to have wipes or cleaning sprays and towels available to wipe down equipment at the end of class.
