So I'm updating my review after going to Yogaurt more and really learning about their ingredients. I love soft serve and I had a lot in Portland, Oregon. They're good but all sugar. Not the healthiest even with it being vegan but nice treat once in awhile. Anyhow, Yogaurt on the other hand is actually is beneficial because it's probiotic which is good for your gut/digestion. They offer a sugar-free flavor, "Ganesha's Sweet Greens" which is one of my favorites. I still can't believe there's no added sugar in this flavor. It's so good and refreshing. Salted Caramel flavor is everyone's favorite, I always see people ordering that as well as myself. Lol! My new favorite flavor is their newest, Radiant Golden Rose. It's amazing! It has rosewater, tumeric, cardamom, & saffron. It pairs really well with the Ganesha's Sweet Greens flavor. It's also good with pistachio & cacao nibs! Yummy! As for the prices, it's still the same but I've realized that the quality of ingredients and the process it takes, it's all worth it. Plus, it's a way better deal for your wallet & belly compared to, let's say Kind Kreme. I got a soft serve cone at Kind Kreme once and it was $7.00!!! With NO toppings. Such a rip off. I gladly go to Yogaurt knowing it's made with quality ingredients and love. read more

My vegan friend suggested this place the other day. The weather was BOILING hot and we were in the area so we decided to give it a try. I sampled 6 flavors: Strawberry Salted caramel Vanilla Chocolate The sweet greens Peanut butter Wow, are these really vegan??!? I was surprisingly impressed and had a tough time choosing a flavor. I ended up doing half strawberry and half salted caramel. I chose mango and mochi toppings to go on top of the strawberry half and waffle chips to go over the salted caramel half. After a few bites, a realization hit me: I really, REALLY liked the strawberry flavor, A LOT - it paired wonderfully with the mochi. I immediately made a mental note to just get strawberry next time. Beep boop beep, stashed in the memory bank for next time. Yes yelpmigos, there WILL be a next time! A few more deets before I end my review: -Street parking -Outdoor seating in the front and a small back patio -Indoor seating (very limited) -Venue itself is somewhat cramped, you have to shuffle around other patrons -It was pretty warm inside, granted it was 111 degrees or something crazy hot the day I went -Staff was friendly and happily obliged to giving samples I can't speak on pricing as my friend footed the bill. Spectacular. If you're looking for hand-crafted, unusual and delicious frozen yogurt (that happens to be vegan, made from cashews and almonds), look no further than Yoga-urt. I tried all of the flavors they had that day (they'll give you small samples of all of them) and loved the "salted caramel zen", "peanut butter prana" and "chocolate bliss." That said, the green tea flavor and the strawberry were also great. You can mix-and-match and also get nice toppings such as shaved dark chocolate, almond slices, turmeric granola and more. Yoga-urt also has a lovely back patio and a good selection of tea and coffee. They also make their own almond milk (unsweetened!). I'd love to see Yoga-urt do more unusual flavors, such as black sesame, taro or carob. At the very least, adding carob chips would be a great addition. I will be back to Yoga-urt probably on a weekly basis. This place rocks. read more

It's froyo that tastes like rich soft serve that's actually vegan and my mind just exploded. Peanut butter/chocolate is my most favorite flavor combination, and when I had a craving, I knew it was time to check out Yoga-urt. When I got there, they had just ran out of peanut butter prana, but I said I could wait until they froze a fresh batch. I was given a sample of the chocolate/vanilla swirl to tide me over. How sweet! I didn't love the vanilla, it wasn't rich enough for me, but the chocolate bliss was phenomenal. It was thick with an incredible mouth-feel, and I knew I'd made a good choice ordering it along with the peanut butter. When it was finally ready, I was treated to a tower of peanut butter and chocolate, topped with dark chocolate chips, for $5.60. I knew people had complained about the size of the small, and I knew I wasn't being charged the full amount (should have at least come to $6 with a topping), so I was bowled over by the generosity. I had no complaints about waiting, but to be given a discount and a very generous serving left me feeling very happy. I took my treat to the back patio to enjoy while reading a book. It was quiet and lovely, complete with a bubbling water feature. I couldn't get over how thick the fro-yo was, and so satisfying! The peanut butter prana was definitely worth waiting for. It was the perfect combination of salty and sweet, and I loved every bite. Great customer service, great soft serve, cute place to hang out - what's not to love?! read more

Somewhat dissappointed. I am so glad I found a vegan froyo place because I love my froyo. The flavors were interesting. Hit or miss. The "green" ones is my only complaint...tasted like grass icecream (I am assuming it was kale or spinach of some sort.) I ordered the sea salted caramel and chocolate. Odd flavoring and not a "true" sea salt and chocolate taste. For some reason, it did not sit well with me which is odd considering there was no dairy. Not bad, but I have had better. The toppings, however, were amazing! Dried mulberries, vegan gummy bears, vegan graham crackers, etc. More than just your typical froyo place toppings which I really enjoyed! All I can say is WOW! I wish there was one like this on the west side. This place would thrive in Santa Monica or Venice! I drove all the way out to Glendale to try this place and it was well worth it! The gluten free waffle cone was sweet and crunchy. Since going gluten free, this is the first time I've been able to enjoy a cone with ice cream and feel like a kid again. I really wanted to try their coconut chai but today's flavors included others one which were just fantastic. Their salted caramel was delicious and packed with tons of sweet flavor with just a hint of salt. The vanilla was not overly sweet with the perfect amount of tartness to it. This all organic, natural soft serve place is definitely worth going out of your way for and to feel like a kid again. Note -if you do have a nut allergy, there soft serves are based with almond milk and cashews so just beware. This small cute quaint place in Kenneth village just makes you feel squishy and happy at heart and puts a smile on your face. read more

I have been coming here since they opened, and it continues to be my favorite ice cream shop. Their peanut butter flavor is unreal. With chocolate shell, it tastes just like a peanut butter cup. This yogurt shop is the cutest the atmosphere is positive, warm and inviting! Not to mention the yogurt! Vegan ? And Organic?! I got the peanut butter w/ bananas and graham crackers perfect combination :) I love that the yogurt doesn't get mushy and melts after like 3 minutes like it would at Yogurtland or Menchies. Overall: 4.5/5 After seeing this little all vegan soft serve and smoothie shop being promoted all over Instagram in the vegan community, I knew I had to try them out. Located in Kenneth Village, a quaint little street up in the hill parts of Glendale, filled with mom and pop stores where I'd venture past as a kid to visit friends or racked up some of the most fruitful candy hauls during Halloween, it surely brought back a lot of fun memories. Getting back to the review now... Haha... I got the Strawberry and Greens (self explanatory flavors) option as a swirl in a cone, and topped it off with fresh strawberries and mochi. Every bit of it was delicious and creamy - on par with, if not better than Ben & Jerry's and So Delicious's (just the cashew-based ones), which are my recent standards for good vegan icecream/soft serve. It didn't taste artificial, and their almond/cashew blend for their soft serve has no nutty odd aftertaste, while still remaining rich... It even has added probiotics and is gluten free, soy free, and dairy free, so it's even more GUILT-free ;D (if one is trying to justify that ice-cream is healthy XD) I'm utterly shocked. The cone has a gingersnap color and texture, but nothing too memorable other than it was made in house, allergen friendly, but a bit too sweet for me, especially if I had gone with the sweeter ice-cream flavors. The mochi (the only thing that has gluten) was also a bit too gummy, but still good. My only issue is their pricing as it's ~$7 for the ice-cream & cone, + $1 for the first topping, $.50 cents there after, and $2 for "deluxe toppings" such as granola and brownie bites, which is quite steep. If I had built it to my heart's content at similar places, I'd probably add granola and one more fruit, but I didn't think it was worth $10+ for icecream! Mine came out to ~ $8.50, which is still a bit pricey (for me), but I guess I can just reserve it for the occasional sweet treat. Although my family's home is nearby, I don't live here anymore which is a good thing, as this can be dangerous... They also have a lavender and green tea flavors which I really wanted to try, but wasn't in the rotation the day I went. I also sampled the caramel flavor, and it was really good and fragrant, but I abstained from getting it as I prefer fruit and tea flavors over confection-sweet flavors. If these guys are also winners, I'll be forced to raise my rating, especially since specialty vegan flavors are very hard to make. I parked on Grandview street which had some residential parking as it was quite difficult to park on the actual street the store front was located. read more

I opted for the mini size and squeezed in two flavors: strawberry serenity and sweet greens. The sweet greens flavor had no added sugar and was sweetened with medjool dates. Ever since I became a lactose intolerant I've been on the search for dairy free, soy free desserts. This place is a gem for vegans and dairy loving folks alike! I got the pumpkin spice with vanilla bean swirl and it was the perfect blend. The pumpkin spice isn't sweet at all so the vanilla added the perfect amount of subtlety with sweet. The sea salt caramel and the peanut butter are a bit sweeter if that's what you're looking for. The flavors are strong and I recommend trying them out. He allowed us to sample many flavors and toppings and explained everything to us since it was our first time. While it is not cheap, the portions are incredibly generous and I love supporting a small independent business. I had the peanut butter, chocolate, and salted caramel flavors. I also tried the key lime, but it wasn't my favorite. They mentioned that the daily flavors are posted on their Instagram story for each location. In addition, one of the girls said she could make my banana split after she made a phone call, ummm what? I worked as a waitress for years in college and this would never fly. when the banana split finally came out I asked for it to go, Oh we don't do that, well no one told me that when I ordered and I spent $11 on a banana split and there has to be a way to take it to go, then she basically split it in half and gave me one half to go. The two women were not friendly and kinda rude. My first and probably last time here. I'm so happy I came across this on yelp now I'm already thinking about when to go back. I've been coming to this location for years because it's on my way home from my walks. During these difficult times I still wanted to provide my business to the small businesses around me and I have never been so disappointed. They have a sign outside that says pick the flavor you want and call the number and they'll bring out your order I stood there and called them nonstop for 10 minutes I see them picking up the phone and putting the phone down but they never answered my calls I opened the door and told them I've been calling and they said yes you have to just keep calling until your call goes through And I said ok I went back outside and just kept calling I LITERALLY SEE THEM LOOKING AT ME call them and they're just ignoring my calls I just wanted one cup of yogurt and just wanted to support a local small business during these difficult times Instead I got ignored and when I was looking into their shop waiting for a reply they were looking at me like I was crazy Horrible service very rude people. I can't believe I haven't reviewed before now. Yoga-urt is soooooooooo freaking delicious I drive over 10 miles (which you know can take forever in LA!) just to have this frozen deliciousness! Sometimes I won't eat dinner just to drive here and have a large cup of some Chocolate Bliss!!! Their chocolate is by far my favorite. You can tell they use really good quality chocolate and the creaminess and chocolate flavor is just so good...I am always sad when I'm at the end of the bowl! My second favorite is the lavender. Especially when it's on soft serve. Since their base isn't milk based, I think that makes for a great balance with the lavender flavor. It's an acquired taste for sure, but I love it! Peanut butter tastes EXACTLY like peanut butter - along with the thick texture. It's really good too and goes great with chocolate, strawberry or vanilla. Strawberry is another flavor that tastes just like strawberries not like anything fake you have elsewhere. It too has a great creamy texture and tastes fantastic with chocolate or peanut butter. It's like having a PBJ without the bread hee hee! The rest of the flavors change every so often and I can pretty much leave them for others to review as they just aren't my faves here. I absolutely LOVE and APPRECIATE the yelp check in discount, any little bit helps!!! At one point they had a frequent stamp card but I always forget to use/ask for it when I'm there. I haven't tried any of the other menu items but I'm sure they are good because their main product is so good. Patio seating in back, plenty of street parking, great hours, free water, eco friendly packaging, and some freaking delicious dessert! Yum, I love any types of dessert that won't give me stomach aches, aka vegan desserts! It was our first time there, and i ordered the radiant gold rose yogurt. This is my type of flavor and I really enjoyed it for those who like that rose/flower taste. Toppings are $1 extra, which is pretty pricy, but they have plenty of toppings that will enhance your yummy dessert. Parking is pretty available on the street, as it is located on a small street. I'm a regular customer and yoga-urt lover. Once my pb&c pint runs out, I have to go back for more immediately! All their flavors are fantastic, and I bring vegan and non-vegan friends alike to enjoy this amazing vegan froyo. My personal favorite is tart, so I always come visit in-store for a soft serve when it's in rotation (it doesn't freeze as well in a pint as the chocolate does). Please be considerate during these times and don't ask for a sample unless you're taking it home to try. Also, definitely sign up for their rewards program and ask to claim your rewards before you pay (if you've visited a few times.) Make sure they don't forget to enter your number after the transaction! Make no mistake, this IS the best froyo in all of Los Angeles, possibly the country tbh. Besides the fact that they don't taste as good as ice cream, they give me intestinal discomfort. This frozen yogurt tastes exceptional and it even seems like it's healthy to eat! Soft serve that's vegan?! Whoa, count me in! This place has been on my radar for quite some time now and am finally glad I got to check it out. Walking in, you can tell that the shop is quite simple and can definitely feel that earthy vibe most healthier food places gives off. They have smoothies, teas, cookies and of course their vegan soft serve. I got their Chocolate Bliss and Peanut Butter in a small cup and loved it. The Chocolate one has this decadent cocoa flavor to it and is more on the darker side (which I personally love!). I also thought that the Chocolate flavor lived up to its "Chocolate Bliss" name. The Peanut Butter flavor is not like the PB ones that you would get at Yogurtland. It has a more organic and distinct taste to it- similar to the flavor you would get in a Guatemalan ice pop. I also tried their Strawberry and Rose flavor. Their Strawberry is quite sweet without tasting artificial. Like the Peanut Butter flavor, their Rose flavor is not like your typical rose flavor you will find at other frozen dessert and tea places. It has a distinct rose flavor to it and I think it might have a hint of tumeric. For a small cup with no toppings, I think the total came out to less than $5 (with 10% off Yelp Check-in)- which is alright in my opinion for a higher quality and healthier frozen dessert option. They have some seating inside and outside the store + there's street parking all around!
