I really like this location because it is much closer to where I live. I particularly enjoy Kayla's and D'Andre's classes. Kayla's sculpt class is simply amazing. She's fun, energetic, always has great music, and every class is different and so challenging. I feel like her sculpt class kills me every time, and in a good way. Her class is honestly the reason why I keep coming back and motivated to continuously level up with sculpt classes. D'Andre's power classes are fun and fast paced! I just tried the one day free trial and it was amazing! The girl at the front desk was so nice and helpful. The place is super clean and has a great relaxing ambiance. And the class itself was perfect. It's not hot yoga but they heat up the room to be very warm so your sweating. I can't join now but when Im able I will be back. read more

YogaSix has truly been a life changer for me. I initially signed up for the basic package, but I enjoyed the classes so much that I upgraded to the unlimited package. Special shoutout to Maddie -- her sculpt and mix classes are incredibly fun and motivating. She pushes me to reach levels of excellence I didn't know I was capable of. I love this place. I always wanted to join a yoga studio, but felt like they were all too far. Was so excited when I saw this was coming to town so I signed up and patiently waited for it to open. I've been coming since opening and the classes are great. Was never intimidating for me as a beginning. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly, there are many times slots available so it works well with my schedule as a mommy and there are different level of classes from relaxing to painful. I like them all! There are days when I regret signing up for a class, but I'll push through and go and I NEVER regret going. Sometimes I'll moan and groan all day about having to go because I'm so lazy, but after a class I feel rejuvenated and proud of myself. If you want to kickstart your fitness or add yoga into your practice I highly recommend. This is the first type of "exercise" that I've stuck with and it's very rewarding. read more

wanted to love this place, the teacher was great and the young lady at the front desk was kind, the place is small and no showers. I had to give it a 3 star because from the minute I walked in to the minute I walked out of the class this guy(employee) was following me around, no personal space almost harassing me to sign up and then seemed annoyed that I was not interested. I have been to many studios and never felt so stressed. his presence was felt in that studio, the poor girl at desk looked scared. It was all really off putting. YogaSix Cypress has been welcoming since the day my wife and I inquired about the studio and signed up. Prior to joining, I have never stepped into a yoga studio before while my wife was excited to rekindle her practice after a long hiatus. It's been a little over a year since we started. We take two to three classes a week and find each class refreshing and challenging. We have taken a few of the workshops that are offered from time to time and those were enlightening. All the instructors, have been nothing but stellar. Each and every one offers some new insight, some new "tweak," or some way to better ourselves and our practice. Adding "options" to poses while in class, even though we may not be able to do some of them today, gives us a view into what may be possible in the future. SarahG and SamanthaD are two instructors that set us up for success from the very start. We appreciate all that they have done and continue to do. Tori, Jency, and now Misty(?) have always been friendly faces when entering the studio. We are definitely grateful to be part of this community. read more

I registered for the Y6 Power with Jill through my Gympass account. I've been doing hot yoga with Ra for a little over a year, and Y6 Power is pretty much the vinyasa style flow. I love how there's so much more space in the room compared to Ra. There's also TRX attached to the walls for other classes. The flows here are a little easier compared to Ra and corepower, so if you're a beginner it might be a good start. The heat is also not as hot as compared to others studios I've been to -could be a pro or con depending on your taste! They also give towels at the end of class which is much appreciated after sweating so much. read more

This new studio is well equipped, organized, and has great team members. The staff is cheerful, informative and helpful. They go out of the way to make sure your comfortable with the Yoga 6 experience. I've been to a variety of classes and appreciate a variety of music choices and instructors. My favorite instructor today is Sheree. I refer to her as my K Earth Instructor. She does moves from the 70s, 80s, as well as current new moves. A few that I've never done. Today, we did good old burpee's as well as many new moves. A particulate new favorite is the side push up. I addition to a variety of poses to keep things fresh, Sheree is knowledgeable on body mechanics and anatomy. She is open minded regarding modifications and maintains a calm and pleasant manner. I highly recommend Yoga 6 Cypress. Another bonus is shopping at Trader Joe's after. read more

I have been a member of Y6 Cypress since they first opened in September of 2023. Y6 is a small studio and classes are somewhat limited but it works out for me. The studio is super clean and does not smell like BO like other yoga studios I've been to. Y6 makes you feel like you belong to a community. All the instructors are super nice and kind. I will be sticking around for awhile since it's so close to my house. Very convenient location. I love Y6!!! read more

God answered my prayers when she put this YogaSix studio in my neighborhood. Hubby gave me an unlimited membership for Christmas and I've been going religiously whenever I can. All the teachers are amazing. I've had classes with Fro, Jill, Maddie, Maya, Sara and more. The sculpt & flow class with Maddie is a fave (Yasa!)... get ready to sweat and feel the post yoga glow when you're done. I also love the hot and slow flow Fro Tuesdays. I signed up almost 6 months ago for this service as a "founding member". When I did so over the phone I explicitly asked what happens if I want/need to cancel? "We'll I guess we let you go" was the answer I received. Now unfortunately I've had to cancel for an assortment of reasons. Suddenly it required multiple steps including a 30 day notice that I was not made aware of at time of purchase even after the question was asked up front. So unless you can see into the future don't bother as they make the process a pain in ass and ignore when you go to sign up for classes in the first place for old white dudes and don't send the notifications they promise to remind you of classes you signed up for either. Attended my very first Yoga class. Y6 Slow Flow with Sarah G.. I must say I was a bit nervous and intimidated. I felt very comfortable once I settled in. I always imagined Yoga would be easy and not get much out of it besides mental stimulation, boy was I wrong. It is so much more than that. I'm a believer. Tomorrow is my 2nd class and I'm very excited to add this to my lifelong lifestyle health journey. I might add, everyone is super friendly and helpful. I would like to one day join one of their retreats. That sounds incredible. I will probable leave another review in the future once I've taken a few additional Yoga classes. read more

I was honestly very excited for this yoga studio to open but unfortunately, my experience here has not been super great. I signed up at $125 a month for unlimited and here's my honest review. 1. The classes were not as difficult as I expected them to be. The instructors are very sweet, kind and informative. This is a decent beginners studio. 2. The cancellation policy is horrible. You have to give 30 days advance notice and they really don't make exceptions. This was probably my absolute worst experience with the studio trying to cancel for the next month. I gave about six days notice before I was to be charged again, and the yoga studio would not budge on this matter. I repeatedly tried to call the manager (more than 3 times) and I asked him to give me a call and never received one call from him. I felt like I was forced to take my last month in the studio. I was so frustrated that a studio treated me like this. 3. The heater was broken the first month here, which means the students weren't getting the benefits of hot yoga and still being charged the full amount. 4. There are not enough class availability. You need to have a very flexible schedule to make the membership worth it. 5. One of the instructors scolded me when I was 5 minutes late to class. I had never had this type of experience honestly anywhere. It definitely discouraged me from wanting to go back. 6. There isn't a sufficient number of lighter weights when the class is full. They usually run out of 3,5 and 8 so sometimes I wasn't able to get as challenging of a workout in because they ran out of weights. The amount of stress the yoga studio has caused me because of their 30 day cancellation policy wasn't worth it. I really regret signing up and giving this studio a chance with how they treated me when I asked to cancel. If you choose to sign up for Yogasix, I would really be mindful of their cancellation policy. Even putting membership on pause requires 30 day notice, which really is so unheard of. I just really don't think this studio treats their customers well. It's a bummer. read more

The studio itself is nice and the teachers are very nice but this studio keeps charging my card for charges I did not authorize. I was charged for two yoga mat carriers and had to call them to have the charges reversed. They said it was an accident and that my card was accidentally charged for items I did not buy at a time I was not there. I had to call to get the charges reversed. Then , after I canceled my membership, and received a conformation email stating that my membership was cancelled, they charged my card for eight classes, once again not an authorized charge. I'm really irritated that they keep just randomly charging my card for stuff. The people there are nice but I would avoid this place. read more

I love this studio so much that I thought it deserves a review. The studio is so accommodating with props, excellent teachers, lavender fanning at the end of class followed my an ice cold towel waiting for us before leaving. The first class is free so I suggest giving it a try and I'm sure you'll be hooked. By the way I'm just a little shy of 65 years old. By far this is the worst studio that I have ever been part of. The classes are just okay. Some of the instructors are very kind...but one of the instructors is so rude to her students. She calls out her students if they are on their phone BEFORE class even starts. In addition to this, the class options are very limited. They keep saying they are going to add more classes, but they don't...so I'm not sure what the deal is there. Also, their cancelation policy is the absolute worst You have to cancel your membership 30 days in advance. I've never been part of any studio that you have to cancel so far in advance. If you sign up, please remember that their cancelation policy is 30 days in advance. My experience at this studio has been the absolute worse out of all boutique studios I've tried. read more

Okay, it's been a month since I've started yogasix. Below are my thoughts. the pros: -clean studio -cold post towels -feminine products in the restrooms -close to home lol.. the cons: -lack of classes. it feels like every class is a beginner's class. -not heated enough (like its heated, but its not heated like other hot yoga chains) -repetitive classes and the structure is not challenging, I don't feel like I had a great workout most of the time. I feel like theres no progression in any of the classes. -I was excited for the trx class. then i find out that every trx class is the same. It got kinda boring, so i stopped going. top fave teachers: Jill, Froilan, and Sheree. haven't gotten to explore the rest of the teachers due to timing or class type. Edit: let's also add Amanda into the top fave teachers. I took her hot class but I think I would like her power class. Pls come to cypress for more power classes. classes: power - the closest thing to a vinyasa flow there is. however, your peak posture seems to be dancers or standing bow. it has never gotten crazier than that. I feel like there's so many missed opportunities to try fun movements. I feel like I'm slowly forgetting the movements and moving backwards with my yoga practice. hot - i thought this would be a semi bikram style of yoga where the room is super hot and you're holding a lot of movements. but it seems like you get 3 awkward poses and the rest is a mixture of a power class. the heat feels about the same as a power class sculpt - personally i wasn't a fan of the structure and i kind of fell off going to sculpt classes. i used to take sculpt classes a lot in my past at other studios, but the soft music and the style is just not for me. sculpt was supposed to be a hyped up class, but you'll find me yawning 5-10x trying to stay awake lol. Restore - I've only taken this class was Jill, and it's super relaxing. I'm guilty of falling asleep in here. the pillows are a plus. i know there's another teacher who does sound baths, but she teaches around the time where I have work. all other classes i haven't really cared to try just because i don't think I'll have fun in a 101 class or so. Overall, i took off 2 stars for 1. the lack of classes and 2. the lack of progression in all classes. read more

This location has been open less than a week but so far I really like it. It's clean, everyone is polite and helpful and I enjoyed how accessible these classes felt compared to other yoga studios where it can sometimes feel like everyone knows something you don't. The instructors only occasionally use the traditional pose names so it's a great way for beginners to build confidence while learning yoga basics. Despite that, I found there was still lots of room for more advanced folks to add challenging variations to the poses so you can still grow in your practice. read more

This is such a great studio! Every instructor I've taken has been so easy to follow and I always leave class feeling that wonderful combination of wrecked and relaxed. I love the staff - they all know me by name and make me feel special every time I walk in. The studio has so many small touches which make it such a great experience- everything you need in the restrooms, towels and water for class, mats available if you forget yours, blocks and other props, and (my favorite!) ice cold towels with essential oils for cooling off after an intense class! My favorite instructor is Froilan. His voice makes you feel confident and calm, and he has really fantastic flows. Other instructors I really enjoy are Jill, Sheree, and Dana - all so amazing and each with different nuance. I have always struggled with what I call "intentional exercise" meaning I have to go to a place on a schedule and pack things, but yoga has been my first experience where I don't feel any of that dread and truly look forward to going. Everyone on staff is great and the owners are very much involved and present, which makes me feel happy about supporting a local family in the community! I was so excited to sign up for this yoga studio, only to be so disappointed by them. After 2 months i've being a member, I realized that there wasn't enough classes for me to take based on my schedule. I contacted them to cancel my membership. They told me I have to give a 30 day notice which means I was going to be charged for the next billing cycle. I've never been part of any studio that requires such advance notice to cancel a membership. If you're thinking about signing up, I would seriously think about this cancellation policy. Their app is also not the best. It doesn't notify you when you get off the waitlist. So there have been times where I got into a class and didn't know and ended up being charged. Again, i've been part of other studios, and none of their apps were like this. In terms of classes, there's a good amount but there's really not enough of the strength and trx classes. Majority of the instructors are kind and informative. I just don't know if the workout is as challenging as another hot yoga studio like RA Yoga or Core Power. Overall, I think YogaSix is a good beginner studio, if you're okay with their strange cancellation policy. read more

This new studio in Cypress is a wonderful addition to the community. The studio is clean and refreshing (*cold face towels after each class). The staff are ALL uplifting and happy to help. The instructors are all very eager to help you with your own personal yoga practice. Fun music and personalities. I'm pretty new to Yoga and I'm really enjoying all the classes. My favorite is the TRX class. It's challenging and a really great class to find more flexibility and stretch. The sculpt class is another challenge both physical and mental. It's also got some great cardio included. As for me personally, I've already grown leaps and bounds because of starting my practice here at Y6Cypress. I started in Sept '23, due to two surgeries in the past year, I had limited range of motion or strength in my shoulders and upper body. In less than 2 months of attending regularly, I have full range of motion now and everything is getting stronger, I'm leaning up and feeling really good. Oh, and I never really understood how much yoga can do for my mindset and self love and acceptance. That may be the hardest part for me... turning my brain off and allowing myself to grow. I originally gave a 4 star review regarding a few items I felt could be improved. Since then, I've noticed a few more good things and even one change I was hoping to see. Now, I feel this is a 5 star business. We are treated quite well, it's super clean, the instructors are wonderful with all levels and I am super happy to have a membership. Yes, it is pricy. It is a private gym that gives first class service in mostly every case. My workouts are a major stress reliever for me- I go in to a dark/specially lit room, get super instruction, workout as hard as I choose and leave feeling amazing. The aromatherapy is a big plus for me too. Keep it up guys. read more

Studio and instructors are fine. Hot yoga and yoga sculpt are my favorite classes; they get my heart rate up and make me sweat. Front desk staff was helpful when I misunderstood the monthly billing cycle and lost a credit for a class. Location is great. Love love love this place! It's super convenient to my home and they have a lot of options as far as times go as well as different types of classes. I loved this place so much it inspired me to get my yoga teaching license through yoga six. Yoga sculpt and flow classes are my favorite! I love the intense work out with Maddie on Thursday nights she really kicks your butt in a good way and gets you motivated to keep going. I started off coming here only once a week and quickly after a month upped it to two- three times a week with a membership. I really enjoy this place, everyone is super knowledgeable and friendly.
