You are always met with a smiling face anytime you enter the studio. Always a great way to start a workout!! There are no bad coaches by any means, it's all about preference. Take advantage of the promotions and try out a few classes before committing. If you enjoy a workout that is challenging but doable, all the coaches will be there to push you that extra mile. Overall would recommend OTF Tarrytown to anyone! The memberships are flexible so you can start with one and always upgrade or downgrade based on your lifestyle.

The owners are the most caring and nicest…read morepeople that you will ever find at a crossfit gym and if you think that you can find owners who watch their athletes and focus on safety as much as these guys then I challenge you to do so ( you will fail so don't waste your time) . Do you know how many people travel out of their way to come to this gym? That right there just proves that not all crossfit boxes are created equal. The workouts are challenging and kick my butt and the people that I work out with have become some of my really great friends. To top this all off how many other gyms have mobility built into their programming. Fair warning: Crossfit is a commitment (you need time and a consistent showing to succeed)...The programming is well thought out and scheduled and requires you to show up regularly. You get out what you put in. One last thing: it's frustrating to see the post from Colette H especially because she has knocked the gym without ever stepping foot inside or trying one of our classes. Without knowing any context I can guarantee the owners were not rude. Unfortunately, programs fill up and are first come first serve and I'm sure they were just suggesting that you consider joining the next program. Chris, my trainer, is extremely personable, focused, and on top of all our objectives. I've always thought the best customer service experience is one where the client feels like they're the only client in the universe, and that the party providing the service is devoted to the singular task of addressing the client's needs. Obviously, a bit of a fantasy given a business with multiple clients, but some businesses pull it off: they create an environment where you feel like you're truly cared for, as if you're the only client. Evolve Athletic Club has accomplished this with me. The staff here are extremely competent, supportive, attentive to detail, and prioritized all my personal objectives. Every question has a good answer and every workout is challenging. A lot of care is put into recovery and nutrition. The space is very clean and organized. The staff has done a great job to build amazing rapport and trust. On a side note, you know the expression, "zero fucks given"? It's this attitude where a person literally does not care about a single thing. Plants need watering? No. Need to pay rent? Nah. Clothes getting dirty and need washing? Whatever. Failing school? Ite. Evolve is the opposite of this. In fact, I think they're the opposite of this plus more. Not only do they do everything you think that's required of them, they also do stuff that you don't consider. They take the initiative to say: "hey, this is cool and could be beneficial to you. Why don't you try it?" But, but...you're reviewing a business. Aren't corporate entities "it's" and not "they's"? Sure. However, I stopped thinking of Evolve as a corporate entity as soon as I started working out there. All the staff members look organically happy and engaged, and everyone has a great sense of humor. It genuinely feels like the people here are part of a family. Perhaps I'm just happy that I'm in much better shape. But, at the end of the day, results are results. Not only did I get results, I got them with a process that was fun and engaging. I'm more encouraged than ever to work out and be healthy.

I travel to Westchester frequently and if you are looking for an excellent place to workout and do…read morecardio exercises like boot-camp, this is the best place I have found so far. The staff is very friendly and motivating and the new facility they are at is very upscale. The size of the groups range from 4 to 8 and they require you to register one day in advance to ensure the classes do not get larger. Unlike some other boot-camps that require you to workout on street payment or at a park with wet grass, this facility has an artificial football field turf indoors. It's very soft on your feet, ankles, knees, legs - your entire body! They have plenty of medicine balls, stability balls, weights, excise mats, etc. As far as pricing, they are priced the same as other boot-camps. If you have kids, they have separate fitness classes available (you can even watch your kids through a large window to monitor them if needed). If you can afford it, you won't be disappointed by the results if you push yourself! Happy exercising!

Initially they sounded professional and made a great pitch as to all of the "behind scenes and predatory work" in their analysis with the planning of the work out. That was a bunch of bull... We haven't been able to get in for weeks to train as they keep saying they do not have an open spot to train. Typically gyms are open 7 days a week and the private trainers are readily available. Not here!!! I got a great pitch, billed my credit card, and its been impossible to get in to see the usual trainer that was initially provided. There are a lot of choices in Westchester, and we decided to go elsewhere. Do your research VERY carefully. I have seen a lot of bait and switches with youth sports club teams, and now this. Unreal!!!
