All the campsites had cool Halloween decor

We had a great time at the JellystonePark park in knightstown. It may have been raining and cold (we went for Halloween 10/29-10/30) but i feel like they helped us make the most out of it. I love that they had kids activities every hour on the hour. Comfort station was so clean, our cabin was clean, quiet hour was quiet. I don't have many complaints about it. I feel like the pricing s fair as well for all they have to offer. We painted ceramics, made paper animals, did tie dye, gem mining etc. and fishing!

A few cabins allow for a covered camping experience.

There is a great pond to walk around that offers catch-and-release fishing, great playgrounds, a nice swimming pool, and lots of room for the kids to play. The bathroom and shower are nice and clean! When I made my reservations, I had to do some revising and they were so accommodating. While I asked for a pull-thru, I did take a back-in spot and they had someone spot for me. I would have liked a 50amp and sewer hookup, but again, I needed to make changes. They offer both RV and tent sites. The tent sites are in their own section, a nice green grassy area! If you decide to stay here, I found that a 30amp will run one of my A/Cs just fine and because of all the shady, I really only needed the one A/C. I did need to have my tanks dumped while I was there. They offer a dump service so I didn't need to move my RV nor even be there. It was a nominal fee compared to the savings from a full hook-up site!

The only issue we had was most of the site was sand which was very annoying trying to keep out of the camper. We had a good experience with the staff at the office, the bathroom/shower was nice, but as with any campground a mess towards the end of the day. I did see that they cleaned the shower area but with all the traffic in and out I realize it would be hard to keep clean and some kids/campers are inconsiderate. The weekend we was there was full but evenings were quiet. Being on the river we did have to contend with preteens walking through your campsite to get to the river, which I blame on no camping etiquette, lol

Lots people from Indy area come here. Having golf cart would be nice & they do rent them. We always bring our own drinking water & only use site water for showers flushing. (Some bad reviews complained about water) Kids 3rd grade and shouldn't have any trouble swimming in quarry, It's loaded with inflatable to climb. Water is very calm to tube. I can see Thursday night place started filling & people were beginning to let there hair down. If your seasoned camper you won't be let down.

Are you looking for fun and safe activity to do with friends or family while staying socially…read moredistanced from others? This is an awesome activity that checks all of the boxes! We visited Morgan's yesterday for the second time this summer. It's a great meeting spot for friends that live in Cincinnati and Indianapolis. Our first visit was on a Thursday and the second was on a Sunday. There was a big difference in the amount of people when going during the week versus the weekend. I would highly suggest a weekday visit if you would prefer less people. After a brief safety talk, you grab a life vest, paddle, and boat and you are off! We did kayaking on both of our visits, but saw a lot of people out on canoes and rafts. It is about a 7 mile trip and both times it took us about 3 hours doing a relaxing trip down the river with minimal paddling and a lot of floating. We packed a picnic lunch and pulled our kayaks out on a shady spot and ate lunch. This is not a technically different kayaking route. There are a few sections that are rocky, have some tiny rapids, or tree roots that you need to navigate, but all in all, it is a beginner level trip perfect for the novice and fun for all. The equipment is good, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The price is also good for a budget activity ~$30 per person! Let's talk about COVID-19 precautions: Morgan's takes this seriously! They are by reservation only and have designated checkin times. For our weekend checkin when it was busy, a man greeted us when walked up and directed us to an empty table to fill out our group's waiver. Once done, we took to a table with one staff member to checkin. All of this was outside. During the week, this was done in the building, but we were the only group. There are social distance markers on the ground, limit to 3 people per the changing room/restroom, social distance on the bus to bring you back, and all staff wore masks. Thank you for keeping us safe!

Rating: 1/5 Stars I honestly can't recommend S&H Campground…read more Between the run-down facilities and the way the staff interacts with kids, it was a huge disappointment. To make matters worse, they double-charged us for our stay. I have already notified them and provided proof of the error, yet they still have not returned my money. If you want to read a more in-depth review of why we won't be back, I've posted the details below. First off, booking was a nightmare, they were incredibly hard to reach, and when we finally got someone on the phone, they acted rushed and annoyed. We had requested a specific site and were told it was confirmed, but when we checked in, they put us somewhere else. We didn't make a deal out of it because we just wanted to get settled, but it was just the start of the issues. We chose this place specifically for the "Family Fun Park," but it didn't live up to the hype, most of the equipment looked like old, second-hand carnival rides. The staff's behavior toward our kids was just bizarre. They were incredibly aggressive about enforcing odd rules, even when no one else was waiting. They told us our 3 year olds had to get off the bounce house because of a 5 minute timer when nobody was even waiting or wanting to get on. Later that night our 3 year old was told to get off a bounce house after 5 minutes, and later, a staff member actually ran right past her dad to yell at my daughter that the bounce house was closed, which just terrified her. It was not a welcoming environment for families. As for the billing issue, I've been in contact with the owner, Jay, for weeks. He even asked if I had Zelle so he could refund it, and I said yes, but I still haven't received a dime. It's unbelievable that a business would make their customers go through a formal bank dispute (which takes 60-90 days) instead of just doing the right thing and sending the money back after being shown proof of the mistake. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

Will not return calls, will quote you a price and charge double. Do not do business with these…read morepeople.
