They didn't taste that good. They we're definitely frozen and just deep-fried from there. I like mine hand rolled. The service could've been better. The cashier at the front was pleasant. She did very good on referring me as to what to get to eat. The woman that was wiping cables was rude. A new customer came in and was waiting for someone to take her order. When she asked her if she could take hers that lady said Yep, I'll be right there. However, she kept on wiping down tables and gave no more attention to the lady waiting. The woman taking orders had her back to her the whole time. She should've said I'll be right with you. The ambience is very casual. But not that friendly. It hits all levels of marketing customers. This is one of my favorite places for a chicken and rice bowl. I haven't been in here in a good while but was craving a bowl today. As always. Great customer service as soon as you walk in. They made sure and asked if I wanted extra hot sauce or anything like that when I ordered. The food came quick and was great. If you are eating there. There are plenty of tables, along with a bar style seating looking outside. Then if you are feeling like sitting outside. There are some tables for that as well. This was the worst service I've ever had. I walked in first so hungry after a long day at work both me and my mother. I ordered and was charged twice. Almost 70$ for a sushi roll and some dumplings. I was appalled when I looked at my bank statement I'm so glad I checked while I was waiting for my food. Once I realized I went back up to speak the the clerk who had previously rung me up, I told him my problem, and he insisted that I was only charged twice in that it was impossible to be charged multiple times. I was given a receipt and in the heat of the moment I didn't even look at the receipt. I just took it and went to sit back down and assumed that it would be charged back to my card as he told me. Moral of the story if I hadn't called my bank and found out that I was actually charged twice and if I had listened to the clerk that had rung me up, I would have been charged $70 for a sushi roll. I'm glad I checked. And I don't recommend this location at all. Yogi's is usually a tremendous place but this location feels like they don't take care of their customers first. read more

We popped in here today and they were busy but the line moved quickly and the guy at the counter was friendly. We ordered a beef bowl with veggies added and a chicken bowl with veggies. It's only one dollar more to add veggies and well worth it! The beef had good flavor, but was kind of chewy. I came here for a late dinner after a movie at Harkin's. I was immediately greeted by a professional & courteous gentleman (maybe the manager-Kaiden?). He advised me that he had menus at the register so I didn't have to review on their wall. Once I was ready to order, he was very friendly and attentive. I opted to go for the veggie bowl and a caterpillar roll. This is a medium size location with ample seating on the inside and 2 tables on the outside and everything appeared clean and orderly. Once my order was ready, the gentleman was kind enough to bring me my order while I was sitting outside. While the veggie bowl was fairly basic, it was cooked to according to my liking where the veggies still had a bite to them. The caterpillar roll was fairly large and had a good amount of ingredients. FYI...if you want sauces for the roll, there is a $.50 cent charge for each item. Unfortunately, while I order 2 sauces (spicy mayo & eel sauce) and got charged, I didn't remember or notice that I never got them; but that was my fault for forgetting until I got home after eating. You will not go away hungry. When I took my tray of empty plate inside to the trash, one of the employees actually thanked me for bringing in my tray and emptied into the trash. Guess folks don't regularly do that :). I would highly recommend this location just for the positive customer experience. read more

I do agree that the price is semi-high for being a casual order-at-the counter-restaurant chain.Our total came out to $28.96 (pre-tax) which isn't terrible for 2 people and leftovers. But adding a sushi roll (or 2!) would have brought us to $40+ which I would rather go to a sushi restaurant. Instead we placed our order online through their website: Salmon teriyaki bowl: Starts at $11.49 with white rice. Brown rice, no rice (all veggies) and half veggie, half rice, are all an additional .99¢. I chose the latter although I wish there were an option to specify half veggie, half brown rice (maybe in the comments?). I asked for a side of spicy mayo, .50¢. This brings the total to $12.98. In the comments I asked for a side of jalapenos although I was not expecting to actually get it. I was SOOO happy to get the side of jalapenos, lol! The pan seared salmon was DELICIOUS! Nice and crisp but still moist on the inside! The spicy teriyaki glaze was a nice touch and definitely "spicy" for most (I'd compare the spice level to regular hot cheetos or a medium sauce from BWW). It was a rather small size for being $13 but I was able to portion it into 2 servings! Chicken & beef yakisoba: $9.99, comes with 2 scoops of rice which is not depicted in the picture on their website. Yakisoba is fine, lacks wok hay. Also a little scarce on veggies except for some big pieces of zucchini. The beef was a little dry. Bf enjoyed it although I'd personally skip the yakisoba. Gyoza, $5.99/8 pieces: We can never resist gyoza! So beautifully crisp, so satisfying to bite into! The soy-ginger sauce is a nice touch! The ginger flavor is definite present. The Chicken was ok but neither meat was seasoned & the only flavor was the char from the grill. The noodles had a cinnamon sweet flavor that didn't quite fit the dish. The California roll was good, simple and fresh. I won't be returning, it's not worth the cost, our two dishes and CA roll cost us $35.21, no drinks and I gave a $3 cash tip at the counter. My favorite Yogi's location is no longer open on Sundays. Mr P and I were craving some Vegas rolls and teriyaki bowls. (Hey, look ma! I rhymed!) I ordered online (like I am known to do), and headed over to Tempe Marketplace. The restaurant was small and bright, but it wasn't very clean. Tables were dirty and everything was a bit sticky. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt with the floors, because it was rainy outside. The menu board was in a really awkward place on a side wall, and had a really strange blue lighting that made it really difficult to focus on the menu. I felt like I was looking through a haze. I got to the front counter and was greeted immediately. I was advised that my order was still waiting for a sushi roll. I grabbed a seat and I waited. And I waited. After about 5 more minutes, I approached the front and a gentleman, who appeared to be the manager, told me that my meal was not done yet. I asked for my beverage cup and had just checked in on the ol' Yelp machine, finding there was a check in offer for two free egg rolls. Eureka! After reading the offer on my phone like he had never seen it before, he said it would take just a few minutes to fry them up. Cut to 20 more minutes... Many people are streaming in and waiting in line at this point, and I feel awkward edging my way to the front. When the cashier is in between patrons, I asked if my meal happened to be ready yet. He looks at me and says "it was for Kat, right?", and hands me a bag that had been on the counter the entire time I'd been waiting! He smirked at me as he chuckled out a "have a good day". I'm frustrated, but I take my food and head home, where Mr P is about to wither away to nothing without his teriyaki bowl. My Vegas roll was good. I could have used some more teriyaki sauce drizzled on the top, but it was okay. My tempura vegetables and shrimp was terrible. The vegetables were humongous and we're not cooked it all. There was no steam venting in the box either, so the shrimp that were underneath these giant vegetables were soggy and gross. Mr P got a beef teriyaki bowl with brown rice and extra onions. When I opened the box, there were no onions. I had to add my own when I got to the house, lest he be disappointed (because I'm an awesome wife, that's why). My two little free egg rolls were soggy and cold by the time I got them. I had been so excited for my free little perk-olas! In my bag, there were also no napkins nor utensils. There were none out on counters to grab any, so this is confusing to me. I will not go to this Yogi's Grill again. As far as I believe, they are an embarrassment to the brand. read more

Got takeout and was pleasantly surprised! The food is so fresh and high-quality. For such a casual place, the place is unusually high ($40 for the below), but maybe that's because of the location. Loved what we got. My spicy tuna bowl was delicious, especially the perfectly done avocado, and the edamame was so unusual. This was a pleasant surprise that hit the spot for a quick and delicious meal. I am normally all about sushi but I just had that for lunch so I ordered a half chicken katsu and half chicken teriyaki bowl with extra green onions and extra sauce. I like variety so this was awesome because I got to try a little bit of everything. The chicken katsu was juicy and the breading stayed crunchy throughout the meal! It wasn't too thick and doughy either. The sauce was really good. Actually, all the sauces were good. I love spice but I actually liked the flavor of the regular teriyaki sauce more. The heat on the spicy version was on point though Another pleasant surprise! The staff was really friendly and super hospitable as well. Teresa brought the food out to me and took the time to explain how everything was made fresh in-house. And she did not flinch when I asked for yet another sauce, haha. In fact, she cheerily replied, "Of course! No problem at all!" They require masks inside except when eating and their staff was diligent about cleaning and disinfecting often. I love Yogis and on Saturday we made it our spot for lunch. I used to always come to this location and I remember it being good.. We walked in and it was starting to get busy. The cashier quickly helped us out and took our order. We ordered two specials that consist of a bowl and a medium drink for $8. We also ordered one miso soup! (The miso soup is delicious) Th soda machine was having issues. They only have one soda machine so you have to wait your turn. They were out of more then a few sodas so we had to improvise our drinks. The ice was also having issues and when it would come out, a while avalanche would come out.. We sat in the corner and our table was very sticky. The inside of the restaurant was very warm and the floors were dirty. The tables are so tight together that it feels like your sitting on top of other people.. Our number was called out and so we picked up our food at the front, after trying to walk through the maze of tables.. The miso soup was delicious and piping hot like it should be! My friend had the chicken and beef teriyaki bowl in which she said the beef was very chewy. My chicken bowl was sadly very dry and flavorless. The chicken was super dry :( This is sadly not the location I remember it used to be. The food was not the same and the dining area wasn't clean. read more
