Food was really good and very nicely priced. Drinks were also cheap compared to other places. Everything tasted fresh and was really good. Need to try the ice cream. Ambiance was good. Went for lunch and it wasn't super busy. They played nice music and had board games to play while waiting for food. Highly recommend trying. There's board games and coloring books and crayons for the kids. I love when a local shop like this makes it welcoming for families with kids. I know I don't do well with gluten but the heart wants what the heart wants. As a reminder of the before times, I keep a list of different pizza places to try. It's a bonus if they offer gf pies but if they don't -- and I won't have much going on after indulging -- I'll make it a point to dive in and see what's what. I don't get down to Crieve Hall much. The last time I spent a good amount of time in the area is when Nashville had an epic Muse-A-Palooza (iykyk). Suffice it to say, it's been a long time. Yogi's is tucked away in a shopping plaza with ample space and parking. I learned to drive (and park) like a video game character in Philadelphia so I am used to tips and tricks when it comes to accommodating car traffic and small businesses. That said, it's so nice to not have to prepare for Mad Max just to go out and grab a bite. I'd called in my order ahead of time (delivery is not offered where I live) so all I had to do was go in, pay, smile, and grab my pizza. I thought about trying the ice cream but no way it would have lasted in the car ride home and that's just doing way too much. Maybe next time. I arrived a little more than an hour before close time on a late-Spring Saturday. The place wasn't packed and I recognized the polite disinterest of teens (relatives?) working on a weekend night. I paid in cash, grabbed my food and left. Everyone was appropriately smiley. I got home and tore into the pizza. I ordered a large deluxe pizza and an order of garlic knots. If I was doing the gluten thing, I was going on all. The knots were a little doughier than I prefer, but they were slathered in butter and garlic. So, good. The pizza was very good. The deluxe (pepperoni, sausage, onion, green peppers, and mushrooms) was well-made. The ingredients were properly spread out and abundant in quantity. Of particular awesomeness was the sausage: crumbly, seasoned and textured. I found the crust to have a nice snap and anchored the slices so there was a structure, not a mess. Yogi's is worth putting into your routine. Indeed, it's worth traveling for. It was, even, worth the trouble of gluten. What are you having for dinner this Saturday evening? read more

Needed a good slice of pizza while on a road trip, and Yogi's was excellent. We called ahead, and our pizza was hot and fresh when we got there. A table was available, so we ordered drinks and sat down. The dining area is not too noisy, with family style tables that are first come, first serve. Yogi himself checked us out and got us drinks. Was in the neighborhood at dinner time and decided to stop in for pizza to let the traffic on the interstate die down. For me, if "5" is perfect, "4" is great, and "3" is good, Yogi's is a strong 3 with potential of being a 4. I didn't try the ice cream, perhaps that would have kicked them up a notch. We started with some cheesy garlic bread--basically a thin crust pizza without the marinara, some buttery crispy crust and cheesy garlic topping. Good. Maybe a little seasoning of some type would knock it up to great. Then we had a large "Mo'roni" pizza. This was huge, thin crispy crust with great marinara and cheese. My only complaint is that for a pizza promising "mo'" pepperoni, there was not really very much pepperoni on it. I wonder how few 'ronis you get on the standard pepperoni? Anyway, no complaints we had leftovers and it heats up great. If this were my neighborhood pizza joint I would order delivery often as it is much better than any chain pizza place. read more

Want to update my previous review. Got a Pizza last night and was very underwhelmed. They boast on the website that a Neopolitan pizza features more tomato sauce than usual, I couldn't even taste any at all. I would put it above the Chains and in this area Sal's, but doesn't compare to Nicky's, Dasano's, Basil Garden, etc. read more

Never realized what a gem this place was until I saw Instagram Influencer "Frecklefaced Adventures" post about it. She shares all the amazing kid places in Middle Tennessee. The pizza is SO GOOD. The Hawaiian is our favorite. Crust has the perfect chewy texture. They also have delicious ice cream. Salads are also very good. Love their house with their house Italian dressing. Staff is very friendly and they are set up for families to dine in. We have come here weekly since discovery. I am sad I didn't find this place sooner! read more

Cute little neighborhood pizza shop. We live pretty close by and are super excited about Yogi's since we get pizza around once a week. We ordered a large pizza with pepperoni, onions, and green peppers the other night and I drove to pick it up. They do deliver but to select streets that are listed on their website. No biggie since it's a short drive. I waited just a few minutes for the pizza and the cashier came out to hand it to me in the dining area where I was waiting. By the time I got home, my partner had gotten a phone call saying they gave us the wrong pizza and were on the way with the correct one. Unfortunately we don't like olives and the one I brought home was covered with them. I was able to give the olive pizza to a neighbor to enjoy and our correct pizza was delivered just a few minutes after I arrived home. The crust is thin and tasty -- which I liked because sometimes pizza can be overly greasy and this was not. The sauce was really nicely flavored, and the cheese and toppings were yummy. Overall, I was really pleased with both the taste of the pizza and the great service. We'll definitely be back to support a neighborhood business! read more
