I love that they're a small owned local spot. The owner was really nice. But I do question the expertise a little bit. I explained how I wanted my dog groomed including a good sanitary trim. He wasn't trimmed at all in that region, so I'm not sure if it was an oversight or if they weren't experienced/familiar with what to do. I'm torn on returning. Like I said, the owner was really nice, and I appreciated that they stayed in touch with me about when my dog would be ready so that they didn't have to put him in a crate. I'll consider coming back! I have a shih tzu that is extremely nervous and growls his previous owners were abusive do it was hard for me to find someone to groom him he now has his favorite woman there and only allows her to groom him plus they were gentle with my senior Yorkie I really appreciate them read more

Frankly disappointed with Yogi's playhouse. We had scheduled a grooming appt for my shihtzu a week ahead of time at 12pm. We got there on time and expected to pick her up in an hour or two but four hours later they still haven't started grooming! We assumed that they probably finished the job a while ago and that they just forgot to call us but was surprised to see that she hasn't been groomed yet and that they don't even remember what kind of cut we wanted her to get. It's very frustrating and it stressed out our dog to be overstimulated in a cage with other barking dogs for hours. They said that they were busy but it's just unfair to have waited four hours (especially since we called ahead). If it was THAT busy they could've told us to come back another time instead of keeping our dog for that long. We couldn't finish the grooming that day and had to come back days later which is inconvenient and a waste of our time. When they finally finished grooming on the second day we noticed that they didn't even cut her nails! How disappointing! read more

I love Yogi's playhouse and grooming took my four month old Yorky, and although they couldn't fully cut most of his hair, they bathe him, cut his nails, cleaned his face and trim all his practice areas and finally bushed him perfectly. My Yorky never looked better. Alfredo was the best. Thank you so much for taking care of our doggy. Ohh and did i mansion it only took him 30-40 mins to finish my pup. Alfredo has groomed our puppy twice and I cannot begin to explain how great he is with her! I was weary of taking Storm to the groomers after all the horror stories we've heard from friends with other groomers. After a bunch of research we stumbled across this business. I am SO happy we found Alfredo/Yogi's! She clearly loves him and even likes to stay for a minute after so he can give her treats and pets. This speaks volumes to us. We really do NOT trust any other groomer with Ava. We have tried many places before yogis and the results were always bad. Sadly we have moved a little further away so we can't hear as much as we usually would, but we still do not trust any other groomer with Ava. Nobody takes care of her like Yogi's! This spot was recommended by a fellow Yorkie owner. We have a 5 month old puppy that is not used to grooming yet. They were great with scheduling and we told them she might not be cooperative quite yet. They called about 30min after drop-off and said they cleaned her up but said she's not ready for the full groom. They were super nice, our sweet Rosey smelled like a dream, her fur was so soft (we're terrible at trying to comb her), and she so cleaned up. We'll keep going back to get her used to it and we can't wait for her to get a full cut. I highly recommend! read more

This is a family owned business and they are so great. There is always a few pups there at a time so my guy comes home so tired from the play time! They listen to exactly what you would like but I have also come in and said "whatever you think is best for his breed and size" and they did an amazing job on my Doodle (Brodi). They are well priced, $50 for a full groom/bath on a medium sized dog is great when the quality is so great. I will be coming here with my Brodi for as long as I live in the area! read more

I came here for the first time and I really loved the experience. I took my dog here on a recommendation from my neighbor (I live down the road). They asked a lot of questions about how she should be groomed, how she got along with other dogs, and what would make her most comfortable for her session. For my dog (who is skittish around others), those sorts of questions are really important and made me feel instantly like she was in good, loving hands. I brought her in with a lot of bad matting and they completed her grooming in record time. She looks so good and clearly feels great. I also appreciated that they were very conscientious with their Covid protocol. I have three dogs, one large choc lab, one medium mutt, and one miniature schnauzer. To say the least , they do a fantastic job with all three dogs !!! My dogs stay smelling amazing for days after their wash and don't release as much hair! I also must admit that all three of my dogs are a bit scandalous but they always manage to control them with ease.
