two cups of ice cream
Zoe S.

I was shocked at how expensive this place was. I haven't been to a frozen yogurt place for the longest and decided to reminisce on good old days when frozen yogurt was affordable to the common man. For two cups it cost us $28. I was shocked when I heard the price. I'm also realizing that there was no signs of the price anywhere. It's more expensive than any most expensive ice cream shop, including Jeni's. Under no circumstances 2 cups of yogurt should cost more than 7 gallons of gasoline.

Semi-private room.

Yogli Mogli is everywhere in metro Atlanta. Today, there are over 20 locations. This one is located in East Cobb at the Market Plaza shopping center (opened 2009). This shopping center is next to the popular Merchants Walk shopping center, which has fellow frozen yogurt competitor Pinkberry. Other businesses at Market Plaza include Mediterranean Grill and Red Sky Tapas. The store is big and spacious, perfect for large groups, families, and school kids. Consistent with the Yogli Mogli brand, there is a cheerful, bright green and orange motif. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. There is a private room in the back, enclosed with glass, which is pretty cool. I haven't seen any other froyo shop in Atlanta with a private room. Just because of that, I'm giving this business an extra star. The room is available for private parties and events. When it's not reserved, anyone is welcome to use it. There are 16 self-serve flavors. During my visit, they were: New York Cheesecake Very Strawberry Cake Batter Toasted Marshmallow Green Apple Sorbet Kiki Strawberry Sorbet Outrageous Orange Fancy French Vanilla Birthday Cake Cookies and Cream Peanut Butter Dutch Chocolate Wildberry Tart Original Tart Very Raspberry Luscious Lemon Mostly sweet flavors, ideal for the suburban crowd. Free samples are available, though the samples are not self-serve. An employee "chaperones" you through the sampling process. I tried several of the flavors and some of them started to blend together for me. For example, it was hard to differentiate between Cake Batter, Toasted Marshmallow, and Birthday Cake. Generally, the sweet flavors tasted fine, but the tart flavors (Wildberry and Original) were overly tart. Froyo consistency was smooth and a tad on the icy (as opposed to creamy) side. Over 40 toppings are available. There are 24 sweet confectionery toppings (e.g. nuts, cookies, sprinkles, coconut, etc.), 12 mostly fruit toppings (e.g. kiwi, strawberry, mochi -- rice cake, cookie dough), and sauces like hot fudge, assorted flavored syrups, and whipped cream. The kiwi I had wasn't ripe. It was hard and incredibly sour. Blech. Altogether, froyo + toppings is priced at 44 cents per ounce, which is reasonable. Yogli Mogli now has a customer loyalty program which does not require a customer to carry around a card or download an app. There's a touchscreen at checkout which you can enter your phone number into. The system keeps track of your purchases purely through your phone number. More businesses should use this system. 10 froyos = 1 free froyo. Service was fine and the store was clean.

None of the flavors were good, they all taste extremely artificial. Also, the tart flavor tasted like rotten milk.

I just had a great meal here. I had the mortadella sandwich. I was apprehensive because a few of…read morethe reviews mentioned a small amount of meat on the sandwich. I can tell you they were wrong. The sandwich contained a great portion of meat. You can see from my photos that it was a substantial portion of meat. The meat itself was tender as can be and was good Italian mortadella that almost melts in your mouth. It also had excellent pesto sauce on the sandwich and some of the best cheese around. I just got back from 2 months in Italy and this sandwich was as good as anything I had there. While I was there I had to try one of everything so for pastry I tried a sfogliata which is a multi layered pastry filled with a vanilla custard. This was either brought in directly from Italy or made by an Italian chef. It tasted just like it should. Then I tried the gelato. I had the stracciatella which was very good. Just two notes here though 1) the gelato temp is too cold. You need to let it warm a little before you eat it to get the full flavor 2) the pistacchio gelato served is bright green. This is not a sign of good pistacchio. Good pistacchio should be more of a khaki brownish green color Then I tried the espresso. It tasted great It was very nice inside. Simple setup looking like a gelateria. The service was friendly , fast , and efficient. The best that can be asked for. The highlight of the visit was actually running into Mr. Gio DiPalma that owns the establishment and other restaurants around town. He sat at a table and watched operations. It was nice to to see him personally checking on performance at his establishments

While this sandwich admittedly was very expensive (over $20 with tax), it was definitely delicious…read more And it was a healthy/large serving size. The Panini bread with some of the best I've had in a long time... soft, yet crispy-ish on the outside. Everything about the sandwich was fantastic with one exception: there was a slightly fishy taste on some bites. Needless to say, with the only ingredients being fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, prosciutto, and arugula, not sure where the fishy taste came from. The shop is average looking. I did not eat the gelato, but it looked very good. Service was efficient, but not overly friendly or personable. Person at the counter was more of an order taker, but there were no social greetings exchanged. The bread was so good that I would definitely go back if I had a craving for an Italian sandwich.

When we walked into Jeremiah's Italian Ice shop, I expected it to be warm and inviting. Well I was correct about the warm part, but in a way that I did not expect. The Air Conditioning was NOT working at their shop. Felt bad for the young man working the counter because it was about 85 degrees outside the store, and it felt about the same inside. Ambiance was definitely 1 star because of how hot it was. Also the place needed some tidying up. Tables needed to be wiped. Oh well. At least the product that they sell is nice and cold!! They sell many flavors of Italian Ice. He said that we could sample the flavors so we tried a couple of them. We decided on 3 flavors which were the Mango, Strawberry, and Watermelon flavors. All of them tasted refreshingly delicious. Got them all together in one cup as a Jelati as they call their concoction. A Jelati is "the perfect layering of any flavor (or flavors) of Italian ice and their rich and creamy soft ice cream". We picked their Vanilla flavor for the soft ice cream. The Jelati tasted yummylicious and it looked terrific as well. There are so many options available on their menu. Would be fun to try something new each time. If I lived in this part of Atlanta, then I'd probably be a regular. Actually, I should say that I'd be a regular if their A/C worked on hot days.
