Swing and a miss, I ordered a taro slush with regular boba, spam musubi and kimbop. The drink was mostly ice, unpleasantly textured and I drank half of it before tossing the rest. My daughter loves Boba Tree. I appreciate their convenient, close to home, location. They have tasty pretzel and cheese options. My spouse loves their musubi. I still want to try their crepes with fruit. Boba Trees snacks may be better than their drinks. Their boba drinks will suffice for a quick fix, but there are other places. Very nice service always although it needs new Flavors, 'Papaya', etc. lots of choices for snacks, desserts, korean plates. Give it a try, you'll like it too. Good prices come with a smile. They need to be open later than 8-9 pm or 7 pm on Sundays, so need to hire more workers to satisfied customers. Thank you. read more

I am hooked on boba tree! Their blended Thai iced tea is to die for, their prices are the best in town, and they are always generous with their servings of boba (bubble bear up the road is good, but sometimes they come up short on this). The spam masubi is super tasty and the perfect snack to go, staff is pleasant and speedy as well. Highly recommend! read more

If you're looking for boba in Alaska, you've probably seen a few of my reviews for various places already... Disclaimer, I try to rate on a bell curve for my preferences The milk tea was a standard powder... Not bad, not great (I like real tea flavors), similar to California's Lollicup or Quickly back in the days. Did leave a fake sugar film in my mouth though. The boba was chewy but clumped together (as the guy scooped it in my cup I can tell it was stuck together like they didn't put enough syrup in the container) so I didn't finish it, not to mention he put a decent amount of boba in my cup. So place is standard, there are other options like taro and smoothie. If I was in the area, I'd probably stop by for a boba fix. read more

Visiting from seattle and NEEDED to fix my boba craving. Overall pretty happy with my experience, I got Thai Tea with boba (my all time classic) and it was great. (a little sweet but who doesn't like sweet boba). My only critique is that the boba was blended with ice (typically when i get boba in the lower 48 it's not blended) but I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed it even though it wasn't what i was expecting! read more

I got a iced boba milk tea on 12/2/16 @ 8:18pm. Lady greeted me but seemed like she didn't really want to help me. She wasn't really rude it was more of the vibe she was putting off. Place was empty when I got there. It's a decent location especially in the sand lake area. Tea was okay, it wasn't too sweet which I prefer. The boba'd were a little mushy. I know it's late at night, but that's a big deal for a milk tea drink! My drink wasn't even filled up all the way especially for $5.25. I usually always, ALWAYS give a tip. But for missing an inch if. It more of tea what a waste of $5.25. See pictures attached before a place my straw in. My favorite place is still yogo delight for iced Black milk tea with boba. Top bop has good black milk tea and I would definitely recommend them but unfortunately, they don't have boba's yet in their tea. It I heard they will be doing that soon. Extremely disappointed in this place but then again, boba drinks aren't that popular here in Alaska. So I'm strictly basing my review in comparison to boba drinks that I've had through experience. They're not "that bad" but my taste buds definitely wasn't amazed. It's worth a try if you're interested in experiencing a boba drink but it wasn't worth the 20min drive for me. Customer service was alright, the young lady didn't seem to understand my order. She messed up a couple times by not understanding that I had ordered 2 drinks. And on top of that, when I ordered nachos w/ cheese and chili, there wasn't any chili but she was more than happy to substitute my order with something else in which I got the fruit crepe. read more

Convenient location, friendly staff, but not crazy about the drinks. The first time I think I tried a honeydew milk tea and it was too sweet for my taste. Second time I went in when it was completely empty and ordered a strawberry milk tea but got handed a strawberry tea. I didn't want to correct her so I took it but again, unfortunately too sweet for me. Like it got a really heavy hand of syrup. I put more ice in to dilute it and it turned out fine. Maybe next time I go in I'll try something blended or coffee based. read more

Convenient spot for bubble tea for those that live in south Anchorage, namely in the Jewel Lake area. I came here about a month ago out of curiosity, to see what type of bubble tea they had. I was a little disappointed in their bubble tea flavors. It's this powdery, sugary flavoring that doesn't taste anything like tea. I got a boba smoothie and it was standard powder flavor, and I came into it expecting that so it wasn't a surprise or disappointment. This place is heavy handed with the boba, more so than most places I've been (in Anchorage and out of state). If you're like me, that was a huge plus. Like half of my cup was boba lol. I also got a pretzel with cheese, it tasted like any frozen pretzel. For less than $3 it was exactly what I expected. It was just simply not good. The boba was bad, it had no flavor and the texture was not right. It also tasted like the water they used was hose water. We usually love the boba tree. Usually very polite, delicious boba, clean place. This time though was very poor. It seems that they've hired a new young guy who either had a very bad day or simply hates his job and has no interest in it. One of our orders was wrong, our cups weren't filled all the way, and he barely put any boba in it which wasn't the worse given that this time the boba was so overly cooked it was a mass of slim on the bottom of our smoothies. We would have complained but the young mans countenance made us a bit afraid of how he'd react. We are looking forward to coming again to find that either the young gentleman is having a much better day or is simply no longer there but that our nice ladies are back making their usually delicious boba. read more

The lady working there was pretty rude, I'm really never gonna go back after the way she was acting. We asked for a large boba tea and she rolled her eyes and raised her voice asking if we wanted the smoothie or the tea on ice. I didn't say smoothie at all so I don't know why she got offended, I just wanted the tea not as a smoothie. And then gave us like a cup filled 80% of the way and slammed it on the counter.
