This is the second or third time I've had ice cream from this place. They had plenty of flavors and the salesperson was kind enough to let me have a few tastes of some flavors. To be honest, none were great but I was REALLY in the mood for ice cream so I ordered a small cup anyway. The ice cream (soft serve) was too soft. It almost had no form. The absolute best frozen yogurt!! There are always 3 no sugar, nonfat, non-dairy flavors and you don't realize they aren't regular. Our favorites include blueberry, wild berry, chocolate peanut butter, but so many more are excellent!! My mom says the ice cream is also excellent...and she's picky about ice cream! Family owned ice cream and frozen yogurt shop. Ice cream, frozen yogurt, and Italian ice. Regular, sugar free (with Stevia instead of artificial sweeteners!) and dairy free options. I really liked all the options as well as the fact that they had flavors with mix ins and ones that were pure ice cream. I had the Kona Coffee and it was one of the best pure coffee ice creams I've had. I'll definitely be back to try other flavors of ice cream and soft serve frozen yogurt. I was also very happy with the amount of indoor seating since I would rather not have my ice cream melt faster than I can eat it! They also have outdoor tables for the few days of cooler weather. Great little spot. I was craving something sweet at work and I remembered that this place was right next door. They lots of different flavors of ice cream, sorbets and soft serve. I decided to get the soft serve cappuccino and peanut butter with peanuts. They are not stingy on the small cup at all. It just hit the spot. I will definitely be back. read more

When we arrived, there was a line but the man behind the counter was "knocking" it down very quickly. He was efficient while being both friendly and patient. He answered our questions about the different sizes and even filled my request for a sample. I normally will order ice cream (see below) over frozen yogurt but after sampling the "healthy" version of the pistachio frozen yogurt, I was sold! I enjoyed the rich taste of pistachio throughout and perfect smoothness, while experiencing no "low fat" aftertaste. Portion sizes here are very generous and put those other places that charge by the ounce to shame. Topping are available and I even looked over the moderate selection of bulk candies and other goodies. I would have given "5" stars, but some of the ice cream selections were 'sold out" with the empty tubs still being offered for sale. And because of this, I changed over to frozen yogurt and still enjoyed my evening treat. read more

Wonderful yogurt. They have all sorts of Choices. There is regular hard ice cream and also frozen yogurt machines. I've never had the hard ice cream. The soft stuff is fresh, tasty and reasonable as far as calories etc. It is a family-run place and so there is always a family member there behind the counter. I had a non-fat southern strawberry yogurt topped with fat free caramel sauce and white chocolate chips. Mmmm! I posted a review below for Yogurt Emporium. I wanted to add that I recently purchased a six-pack of fat-free and sugar free yogurt filled sandwiches that Brendy's also has. However, even though both items were exactly the same, Yogurt Emporium only charged me $8.00 for the same thing that Brendys charged $15.00, and I am not kidding. I don't know if all offerings are as discounted compared to Brendys; however, if you are thinking of getting one of these packages of ice cream sandwiches made of fat free yogurt, you are MUCH better off buying it here ( Yogurt Emporium) over that of Brendys. I should also note that Yogurt Emporium also has some flavors that Brendys doesn't have such as a fabulous Blueberry and almond Joy. I walked in here overwhelmed by all the frozen yogurt flavors. And the ladies working were very nice and helped me out with the decision making. I tested out the chocolate marshmallow and I was definitely shocked by how tasty it was. We went on the recommendation of our friend's 17 year old son. The staff (one guy) was very friendly and ran the counter in an efficient manner. We had many different items in our group of 8 which isn't hard to do with over 50 flavors to choose from. The yogurt appeared to be fresh and all had handwritten signs denoting the flavors of the day. The decor was ok. The walls needed to be repainted and there was a broken cooler by the front door. The restroom was clean although it was next to an old recliner. The local artwork on the walls was a nice touch as the shop would have had no other highlights to focus on. Now on to the low points. Some of the toppings seemed to be sitting around for a while. (The butterscotch had a film on it and the cookie bites were dry). Some of the ice cream flavors looked to be sitting around for a while. Overall a decent place with friendly staff. The hours are 11-11 and they are open most holidays. It's still froyo and ice cream, how bad can it be? Enjoy! read more
