A+ for topping options. This place does not disappoint! Great location, good amount of seating. There's a nice lounge vibe inside and when we went there was some soothing Christmas music playing, love love love!! The place is clean and neat inside. Lots of yogurt flavors to choose from. The coconut and the chocolate were my favorites this time. My hubby opted for pistachio and New York cheesecake. Lots of popping boba flavors. Yum!! Staff very friendly and that's refreshing.

This is our go-to spot for frozen yogurt now. Haven't been to the chain one in years. I think they would have better/more flavors but this one has some good ones just limited selection. I always get cable car chocolate and usually mango if they have mango sorbet. They always have sugar feee vanilla, chocolate, and the original tart. Tonight they also had strawberry, cookies and cream, cheesecake, peanut butter, and they were out of one. Their toppings have expanded, they must have about 12 different candies, fresh fruits, and all kinds of toppings like whipped cream and sauces. I usually get gummy worms, mini chocolate chips, a marchino cherry, blueberries, nerds, and some type of boba jelly. They do punch cards and we also have been getting $5 off or %20 off in the mail.

Okay, Yogurt Lounge. I come here far more often then I really should. The decor is Cali chic, with teals and turquoise, with an open concept sitting area and yogurt bar (Station? Dispensary?). Great place to sit with the family after a sports game or go after a hot day. Yogurts are pretty good, and there is an ever changing, wide variety of flavors. I am a fan of the Strawberry Lemonade, the Cable Car Chocolate, and the Sugar-Free Vanilla. The toppings are fun, with juice balls, mochi chunks, chips of various cookies and an assortment of sauces. The customizability is nearly limitless with all the options. They charge by weight, no fixed prices here. You get exactly what you want, in the amount you want. They offer samples too, so if you're on the fence regarding a type, go for it! They have a pretty nice punch card as well, so be sure to get one if you plan on being a regular. Prices aren't exactly cheap however, but I think it tastes great. (Look around for deals and discounts, they almost always have something going on). Staff is always friendly and helpful, very personable and willing to answer questions. Definitely a good vibe here in the staff. Break down: Decor-3/5, Dessert-4/5, Customizability-5/5, Service-4/5, Price-3/5. Overall, coasting a solid 4/5.

The boba is made fresh daily & they have traditional tapioca pearls as well as fruit based popping boba. They also brew the teas in house. My favorites so far have feen the ube milkshake, matcha chip condensed milk frappe, blended brown sugar chai & blended milk tea with brown sugar. Their boba is perfectly chewy & always fresh. The owner is an absolute gem & also hilarious. Their social media caption game is top tier. This shop also has strong ties to the community. They frequently host drives to put together care packages for the houseless community, support local art, share info for mutual aid & do their best to give back to the community. If the drink variety wasn't enough thats a reason in itself to support this local business! Go treat yourself to something delicious! Support your Asian owned boba shops.

I got a chili dog, my daughter some fries, my husband ordered a chocolate shake and corn dog and I also ordered a cherry limeade. We waited in a little bit of a line leisurely looking at the sticker wall which I enjoyed. I like the Ted Cruz sticker the best but I do also like perusing what everyone has added to the growing collection. Instead of getting that chocolate shake my husband got a vanilla shake with chocolate and it was a happy accident it tasted so good. It was definitely topped with a cool whip and not a whipped cream but it was still a guilty pleasure. My cherry limeade was tasty. It reminded me of Braums cherry limeade from Oklahoma/Arkansas. Pure nostalgia. The pebbled ice was chefs kiss. The chili dog was good. I like the dog itself since it's juicy and doesn't have the Bar S taste I hate. Next time I know not to order it with everything though since I'm not a relish fan. Overall friendly service, guy at the drive thru way all smiles and I got the treats I wanted.

If dining is meant to be an experience, then tonight was certainly one. Not the kind you rave…read moreabout, more the kind you unpack over a stiff drink later, wondering what exactly went wrong. I made a late reservation at Southside Bistro, hopeful for a good evening. We arrived 30 minutes early, aiming to grab a drink at the bar. No dice. It was full. The owner suggested we grab a glass of wine while we waited, which would have been lovely had there been anywhere remotely comfortable to do so. So instead, we went next door to the liquor store and made the best of the situation (hello, bitters, Luxardo's and bourbon for later). When we returned, we were greeted with a blank stare. The host had no memory of us, which was... fine. Mistakes happen. We were seated shortly after. Let's talk ambiance. If "cold minimalism meets cafeteria intimacy" is your thing, you'll feel right at home. Shared bench seating put us close enough to hear the life stories of both adjacent tables. Romantic, if you're into that sort of thing. Now, service. Hats off to our server, Gina. Professional, kind, and the MVP of the night. She did her best to carry the weight of what unfolded next. We ordered two apps: blue cheese custard and clams. The custard was lovely, rich, garlicky, and creamy with a well-made flatbread. Alaska's produce limitations made the wilted greens forgivable. The clams, however, were a different story -- overcooked, gritty, and floating in what I can only assume was salted dishwater. Olive oil? Not even a whisper. Then came the entrées. A filet mignon and a rigatoni. Both arrived lukewarm, but hey, they looked fine. The filet was topped with a slice of cold butter thicker than the steak itself (which is bold, honestly), and the mashed potatoes had already developed that signature "left in the window too long" skin. Veggies? Straight from a freezer bag into a steamer. Nostalgic. The filet was, sadly, inedible. Cold, dry, rubbery. Probably sous-vide then left to die. Meanwhile, the pasta was undercooked and bland. I've had more developed flavor profiles from boxed mac and cheese. Now, I've been in the industry over 20 years. I don't send food back. I don't like making a fuss. But tonight, I politely asked to remove the filet from the bill. One bite in -- that's all it took. Our gracious server obliged. Then the owner returned, and that's when the real magic happened. He approached us not with curiosity or concern, but with a smug lecture. Apparently, because I said the dish "looked fine" when it hit the table, I had forfeited the right to express concern about the temperature or quality. He assured me that everyone else was enjoying their meals, as if that somehow invalidated my experience. Irony: the table next to us had just sent back their lamb for the exact same issue, undercooked and returned twice. It's rare that I feel compelled to walk away from a restaurant, let alone leave a review. But the arrogance displayed tonight was just... disheartening. Anchorage deserves better. The industry deserves better. In the end, I paid the 200 dollar bill for a half bottle of wine and two apps, tipped 20 percent (Gina earned every cent), and left with a story. Not the one I hoped to write, but one worth sharing. Jens, if you are going to wear a white chefs coat in the dining room all night, maybe have an idea of how to act like a FOH manager if you aren't willing to dress like one. Never again.
