I've visited here on a few occasions and while it has the basic workings of a great self serve yogurt chain, it leaves a lot to be desired. My biggest issue about this location in particular is the overwhelming mechanical smell, which I am surprised no one else has mentioned. I've worked at a large yogurt chain and the smell makes me concerned that the machines aren't being cleaned or maintained properly. The unappealing smell combined with the lack of decor creates a very unappetizing store front. The topping selection is great; however, the fresh toppings are kept in such small containers that the employees can't keep up with demand, so most of the time there's slim pickings left. Meanwhile the dry toppings go stale when the huge bins are filled up and not rotated properly. The chain could benefit from a redesign with a softer color scheme and some promotional photos *shameless photographer plug ;). I guess the unfortunate truth is there are so many other chains offering the same product, but delivering it in a much more desirable way. Good thing yogurt time is open late. read more

Self serve frozen yogurt and you can mix- they have up to 10 flavors including non-fat versions and sorbets-- and an entire toppings bar! I tried mint with brownie pieces topping and a mango sorbet with fruit on top - tried to keep my portions small, but beware- the cups are big and they charge you by weight! I would love to see smaller cups.....I think......we all enjoyed our trip and I would definitely go back when I'm in the area again- definitely a treat! read more

The yogurt is fine as is the selection of toppings. My complaint about this place is that when I asked if I could have some tap water and a napkin to clean my 2 yr old's face they told me they didn't have any water and I could only buy their bottled water. I would have given it 4 stars when I could eat anything. Now that I'm sugar-free, not so much. Mostly, I am frustrated by the difficulty of getting information as to what's in the yogurt. They have one flavor billed as "No Sugar Added" which seems to always be strawberry. (And, I would like to know where that lovely pink color comes from.) Last week, I asked the clerk if they change the sugar-free flavor, and she started talking to me about the chocolate fudge which doesn't say anything about being sugar-free. When I mentioned the strawberry - she said no, that's "no sugar added." I gave up with her, but returned a week later to see that strawberry was still the only option. So, I asked the other clerk, "Is the no added sugar flavor always strawberry?" She screwed her face up like I had just asked her how Pi is calculated. "Well, I think so. Unless they change it." No point even asking where the color comes from. Or going back, for that matter. read more

I love love love yogurt time!!! If I could go there every day, I would (and have). I used to go to places like this in San Diego, and was ecstatic that one opened up here. You get to sample any of the flavors. You can make your own concoctions w/o judgement, and at your own discretion. Other stupid places charge you extra for toppings, and you never get the right blending. Here its all done by wieght and you can get as much or as little as you'd like. Always taste new flavors first to make sure you like them before you take a lot. Always, Always monitor your child when there, because I've seen many a child fill their cup up with candy toppings, add a little yogurt to the top. If you've shopped in one of those candy stores where you fill your own bag and pay by weight, then you won't have any trouble when you visit Yogurt Time. This brand new shop operates the same way. You grab a cup and fill it with your choice of frozen yogurt (today they had the basic vanilla, chocolate and strawberry, along with NY Cheesecake, cookies and cream and several other fruit flavors), then top it off with cookie dough, brownies, gummy bears, nuts or any one of a dozen other toppings. Then you take your cup to the counter and put it on the scale. They charge $5.00 per lb, which seems like alot but actually it's not bad. The containers are large, and one full cup with toppings usually weighs half a pound max. This is a fun place for kids, and a convenient place for dessert after enjoying a delicious Papa Lido's pizza next door. read more

I like this place when I am in need of a fix. It is close to my house and easy to fulfill my yogurt need. Not a fan of the look inside, very bright. I also don't think it's a good idea to have young girls working here at night alone. read more

Ok, so after experiencing another FROYO place I've come to realize this place wasn't as awesome as I first indicated. I do however still like that this place offers a decent variety of toppings but I wish they had more frozen yogurt flavors to choose from. I've visited other places and they seem to have more flavors and are constantly changing things up. The decoration was lacking sooooo much. It had color schemes of yellow and green. It looked like a 5 year old designed it. The location was built inside a space that looks like it was for an office and still has the office feel to it. The furniture was all wrong and not even posters to make things look appetizing. It tried to do the self-serve thing which is always good. Except, the machines made so much noise that it was the only thing you can hear when you get in the store. The toppings were very American. Lots of chocolate, caramel and very sweet but I like that they had Nerds. That was interesting. They tried the fresh fruit thing but failed miserably. The fruits were definitely not fresh and no mochi to go with it! I was surprised that the original tart was pretty good. It tastes like the Korean yogurt that it is suppose to mimic. The other flavors were pretty good as well. Most notable was New York Cheese Cake and Cookie N Cream. read more

Great frozen yogurt and toppings. Friendly staff. Why only 3 stars? Flimsy plastic spoons that bend and cut your lip. If you like your fruit at the bottom of a cup, so that the yogurt freezes it, good luck getting to the bottom of the cup with these spoons. read more

I wanted to like this place, as it is on my daily route home and I love self-serve yogurt places. Unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. The place is presentable and there are plenty of options for flavors and toppings. The girls at the counter were marginally friendly. The main problem was the quality of the yogurt, which I found to be quite poor, and I tried three flavors. I really almost didn't finish it because it just wasn't good, but, you know, I had already spent the money, and the toppings were good. I regretted finishing it though by the time I was done because I just felt gross. Next time I'd be better off just buying a bag of M&Ms if that's the only part that will be tasty. I would not want to go back here even if someone else was treating. Waste of calories and money. To be fair, other reviewers seem to like this place so it could still be worth a shot. I gave Yogurt Time 2 stars primarily because of the poor quality of the yogurt, if it even was real frozen yogurt. They had about 6 different kinds of yogurt if I can remember, and a bunch of toppings. The place was kind of dirty / messy and pretty uninspiring. Yogurt from Yogurt Farms or Honey Moon Frozen Yogurt is of much higher quality, fresher, and tastes better. read more

wanna say it's more 3.5 stars?? the yogurt was standard, but giving them the bump is the fact that they have warmed caramel sauce (first time I've seen that!!) it was good yogurt, not great. to boot, the lady cashier wasn't overly friendly. not to mention this shopping center sucks as far as layout and parking, nothing strikes me to return. the flavor offerings were average and just not exciting at all. hoped for more on my late night treat, but oh well. read more

I like the concept of this shop. There are about 8 or so flavors of frozen yogurt with several dozen toppings to choose from, all self served and weighed at the end for a price. Most of time when I visit, some of the machines are not working so you really should be prepared to get your 2nd or 3rd choice of frozen yogurt. I have been here about 8 or 10 times and it is pretty clean and organized. Seating can be limited during peak hours, but generally not a problem. I went to this store and got yogurt for my son and I. As I was trying to pull through the parking lot which was full of cars I was stuck between people fighting to get out, the owner comes up to me saying I need to leave and I cannot be stopped there and was calling the police that I was there yelling at me in front of my three year old son... I was distraught and it was very disrespectful to treat any kind of customer that way. I informed her I was a customer and she said I don't care I don't need your business. RUDE business attitude I think. I will never go there again for I would never treat a customer that way and the yogurt wasn't even tasty for having to deal with that! read more

Today my two kids and I went in to Yogurt Time as a treat for them behaving. One of my kids asked for a spoon to try the Salted Carmel special. He then gave the spoon to his 5 yr old sister to taste the Mango Sorbet. While we were standing at the counter to pay the teenager behind the counter told my 5 yr old in a snippy tone, "um excuse me, you aren't supposed to eat it before you pay." It turns out the 5 yr old took a bite while we were standing there. I expected she was kidding but from her nasty tone throughout ringing us up, it was clear she was not. My little one ended up apologizing over and over to me as she ate her yogurt. While it was not the crime of the century, I'd rather drive a few extra blocks to Cold Stone if she's working. Someone needs to have a talk to her about customer service and attitude. It was unfortunate because my kids go to Riebli down the road and we are regulars.
