Dear Hubby and I have enjoyed froyo at several Yogurtland locations for many years. We had our Sweet Granddaughter with us and promised her dessert after dinner. It was our first time trying this store, and it wasn't my favorite. It was clean and organized, which is in their favor. For me personally, as I don't tolerate cow's milk dairy, there was only one choice of sorbet as a vegan choice. It was a flavor that didn't interest me much, but that was all I could choose. I'd been used to the staff members add the toppings upon request as they were behind glass. Maybe all locations have opened that up for customers to add the toppings. I found it awkward to manage ourselves, especially in helping a 6 year old who wanted to be part of the process. It's not much of a stretch for toppings to migrate from one container to another when amateurs are doing the application. Finally, the flavors weren't as robust as in the past. DH remarked that the pistachio wasn't that great, and it had been one of his favorites. I don't know if they were having an off day, but this visit didn't equal our past experiences. read more

They have a wide variety of toppings and are there to help you. I do miss the taster cups and being able to put toppings on myself but I totally understand the new policy. I would like to say I was very disappointed with the big spoon promotions. I had gone in to purchase some frozen yogurt and as a bonus to get the big spoon. I had not known it was a $12 minimum. I just wanted to get frozen yogurt and the big spoon and the cashier had me go back to get more since I only had a $10 minimum order, so I had my partner get another bowl which ended up being about $18. And as soon as we got back to the cashier, she had given away the last big spoon when she knew that we had wanted the spoon. Luckily another worker said, they had more but it was not in our favor because it was a completely different color. I was dissatisfied with the color. We had driven to another yogurtland to see if we were able to change the color but since the big spoons which can't be used to eat but only for a display was touched, they said no. I always go to Tutti Fruti but since Yogurtland was close to my daughter's house and I was watching my grandsons, I decided to give it a try. I took both grandsons, ages 5 and 8. We went today at 3:00 in the afternoon. The girl who waited on us was not a bit friendly, no greeting, no smile, no words. The only thing she said to us was"Do you want a lid."
