The staff is friendly, the place is clean but the yogurt is icy! What happened to the delicious creamy yogurt?

Usually love going to yogurtland but about an hour ago when I visited the young man and young woman working were looking at teenaged girls in barely nothing/bikinis on their phone when I was walking in. I got my yogurts and asked the young woman for a topping and she was very rude with her response. The young man welcomed me and rang me up, he was friendly. But I was very put off while he was ringing me up the young woman showed him another picture of a young female again in barley anything. I understand they're young/teenagers but just found it disrespectful to myself and other customers. They were closing in 15 minutes, it could've waited. read more

This review is written in particular for the owner- Sung Ok. My wedding took place in San Juan Capistrano June 2, 2012. My fiance and I both love Yogurtland- it has a special place in our hearts. We thought it would be amazing to have yogurtland cater our wedding. After calling around to dozens of locations, I finally found one owner that was even remotely willing to work with me to fulfill such a lofty wish of mine. He had only catered a few small events previously, nothing as grand and upscale as a wedding. With a lot of trepidation on both our parts, we decided to venture in this project together. After numerous phone calls, emails, and a personal meeting with me and my groom, we finally worked out the logistics and I trusted that he would make things happen. My wedding coordinator was also in contact with him and asked him a million questions in how things would be run. He very patiently answered all our questions and concerns. Come the day of the wedding: he showed up on time, with all necessary equipment and everything prepared ahead of schedule. I cannot express how wonderful everything turned out. I had SO MANY compliments and people amazed how we got yogurtland to cater our wedding! The yogurt and toppings were delicious (from feedback, I didn't even get to try it :(((! ), the setup was impeccable, and it was great our catering staff was able to serve it. Our wedding was a test run for him, so he was able to offer a great price. Relative to other things we paid for in the wedding, the value of having yogurtland beats out almost everything else. I highly recommend this location, the owner here is so wonderful! I also recommend contacting Sung to any brides out there that are looking for a unique & fun dessert at their wedding in addition to the boring wedding cake. read more

DAMN YOU YOGURTLAND!!!! Let me just say that I have been anti yogurt places for a very long time. Mostly due to the fact that I grew up in L.A. with Thrifty ice cream for less than a buck for two scoops. I just never understood what was so great about these pseudo ice cream places. And then came Yogurtland. I couldn't resist all the pretty and happy colors inside. That's when I first tried the lemonade passion fruit and cheesecake. A most heavenly experience; soft, velvety and flavorful! And all that sensory overload for $.30 an ounce? OK, so it's not Thrifty ice cream, but then again Thrifty never let me make my own cone much less add any toppings. And the toppings? Don't even get me started on the toppings! They have all kinds of fruits, chocolate chips, mini peanut butter cups, gummy candies, chocolate syrup, caramel syrup and on and on and on... I think I'm hooked. This is the best Yogurtland in the area. Something unique about this location is that they have blueberries as a topping! YAY! This is what keeps me coming back to this specific location even though I have 2 or 3 others that may be closer to my house. Try the pistachio yogurt and the Sumatra Coffee. read more

Have been patronizing Yogurtland for a few years, have 2 homes, 1 across Golden Lantern. Had a very bad customer service experience recently. Arrived with my family of 3 to get frozen yogurt holding our small dog in hand at the door ( have done this 100 plus times) when we were shouted at by the teen at register- "No dogs allowed in here!" WOW and yikes. This is not what we've experienced before and if it's a rule it should've been enforced before today. If a new rule - the employee should at least be polite. Seriously. We left yogurt land and spent our money at Golden Spoon. Very poor customer service experience here. This is Orange County come on. read more

Love this Yogurtland! It's a pretty good sized location, so they have a good selection of flavors. Plus, YL now has an app so you can check what flavors are at each location before you go. This helps me immensely as the question of "Golden Spoon or Yogurtland?" frequently incites anxiety (what if I choose wrong and miss out on a great flavor?!?!?!). I love Yogurtland and this is one of the better locations I've been to. It's always crowded, especially on weeknights. I enjoy the selection of flavors and the reasonable prices (as compared to Pinkberry). My current obsession is their Dragon Passion Tart topped with yogurt chips...nom nom nom. I always get at least two (usually more) flavors in one cup. Otherwise, I feel like I'm doing an injustice to the self-service. My usual routine is a massage next door at Massage Envy, then froyo to go. My husband never minds when I need to leave for a massage appointment, because he knows he's in for some yogurt yumminess afterward. Of course, there are frequent visits in between massages too. I love this place, and I admit to being addicted. We visit this location a minimum of twice a week. It is de-licious!! The place is always clean despite the throngs of people who visit. Sometimes there is a line outside the door. I appreciate how quickly the employees clean up after everybody. That said, sometimes I miss Golden Spoon just for the fact that the employee is the only one handling the toppings and yogurt machines. Today at Yogurtland I saw two young children manhandling the toppings, licking the communal spoon and sticking their fingers in the strawberries, licking same fingers and then, sticking them back in the strawberry bin!! Mom was casually wandering around not doing anything about this at all. I was appalled as I suddenly wondered how many times during the day some youngster sticks his/her fingers in the toppings or since their little faces come right at nose level to the bar, I wonder how sanitary this can be. read more

Our family loves Yogurtland. This is our go to place for treats. We prefer this location to all others. We're here about once a month. I love the salted caramel or pecan praline type flavors. My kids love chocolate, birthday cake, red velvet... My husband loves it all. read more

My son's frozen yogurt spot! Lots of favors to choose from, tons of toppings! It's well maintained and the staff keep the yogurt and toppings area pretty clean! Also, they have sample cups in the front so we can sample different favors... Slightly pricy though, but you can get the gift card at Costco to save some $! read more

Yogurtland is great, they have nice staff, many flavors, and allow you to sample everything. They have a large range of toppings, including hot sauces. They have frappes, smoothies, and sorbet. They do not charge much per ounce, and the yogurt is very affordable. It's located right next to Dana pointe beach, so if you're visiting it's a walkable distance. Self-serve means you only pay for what you want. But what your eyes THINK you want is probably more than your stomach can handle, especially after you add all your toppings... The quality and variety of toppings is great and there are a lot of flavors of froyo to choose from. A lot of high schoolers came in while we were enjoying our desert, which was a little off-putting because they were loud and rude. They don't advertise it, but they will give you small sample cups if you want to try a few flavors. read more

Used to love this place, but last time I came the vanilla ice cream was grainy and the whipped cream was complete liquid. When the employee saw it drip out of the machine into my bowl, she simply looked at me and said nothing... kind of disappointing. read more

On 7/8 8:14 pm a friend and I decided to take a journey to our local Yogurtland as we have received a gift card from someone who worked at Menchies. Once we entered the doors we were immediately greeted and served with a friendly smile ( which was hidden behind a mask of course!) Due to our lack of experience with the product we asked our server for any recommendations and she kindly offered her knowledge on each flavor and helped us narrow down which flavors we were most certain to like. She filled our cups with great precision that left us greatly satisfied as we hit the bottom of the yogurt cup. The wide array of options for toppings left us speechless and she made sure to show us how much she was serving so that we could measure it to our liking. Once she measured our cups, we were happily surprised to see how affordable it was. She finished ringing us up and kindly wished us a good evening. We will be coming back to this location read more

i am completely obsessed with Yogurtland. Being a total foodie, taste is essential to my general well being. After several stints with golden spoon (too sweet fake tasting), pinkberry (not a fan of tart), & velvet yogurt (second place contender with their coffee flavor), yogurtland had me at red velvet. The deal was sealed with devil's food cake, yum. I am not shy to admit that we have a passionate affair & I will gladly trade dinner for 10 fabulous ounces a few nights a week. read more

I'm at this Yogurtland quite often, when I find myself hit by my froyo craving. Pinkberry has better quality yogurt IMO, although you really get more bang for your buck here. There's something about having control over the amount, kinds of yogurt, and toppings that is liberating and nice, something you don't get at Pinkberry. The variety is fantastic, and new flavors are cycled in regularly. My personal Yogurtland ritual is to get a couple of sample cups, try the assorted flavors I'd never have the courage to get a full serving of, and then settle on the plain tart. I top the plain tart yogurt with yogurt chips, and a bunch of lychee. An absolute delicious treat that is especially refreshing in warm weather. read more

Came here on a Saturday night around 8:30pm and this place was full, non-stop customers. The fruits were fresh and yummy.

Pretty impressed with both courtesy and cleanliness. Immediate greeting from 3 very young employees who were all smiles and attention. The toppings were well stocked and the counters were spotless and crumb free. I love that the flavors change, though sometimes it's a bummer when I return and can't get more of the flavor that brought me back. Problem solved every time I find a new favorite. I have been waiting months for this Yogurtland location to open. First of all, I am a huge fan of the "do it yourself" frozen yogurt idea. Secondly, there are so many flavors and toppings to choose from, and the yogurt is excellent quality. I went with my family tonight and we all enjoyed our custom yogurt. I highly suggest this place, my only complaint is that it is so close to Golden Spoon and I feel that it will hurt their business...I have always loved GS and will feel bad if they end up going out of business! read more

First time @ this Yogurtland location and it was good. The place is well kept, clean and many flavors to choose from. I went with Vanilla Bean & Double Cookies & Cream. Yogurtland's flavors are the best. I've been to at least 10 Yogurtland's and this location consistently has the best quality yogurt. My husband (who worked at a Fro-Yo shop in High School) says that its because they clean and maintain their machines and keep them at the right temperature. Some Yogurt shops don't clean/maintain and the yogurt ends up drippy or too hard. This is a must-visit for fellow yogurt connoisseurs. My only complaint is that they rarely have mint... only during the holidays and St. Paddy's. read more

Love this place! Try our recipe for 'Coconut Delight'. Put coconut yogurt in halfway, then put on almonds, chocolate chips, and shredded coconut. Fill the yogurt the rest of the way, put on more of the same, and top with chocolate syrup. read more
