I showed Natalie my nail inspo, and she did a really great job bringing it to life. I can understand why some people may not like their policies, but I also think they're fair for both the salon and the customers. The salon is small, neat, and only had three staff members working on the weekday I visited, so there may be a bit of a wait. They also ask you to pay before the service, which makes the pricing clear upfront and probably helps avoid awkward situations iykyk. The vibe isn't overly sweet or super welcoming compared to some other nail salons, but they clearly know what they're doing and do it well. Personally, I didn't mind at all and actually enjoyed my experience.

I paid $120, I would normally pay $65-70 for this, sometimes even more of designs for $65-70 - Attached are pictures and also prices for the pedicures. Paid $20 deposit when booking online. You also pay your total before any service is done. Area was right off the freeway, door was closed so the place looks closed and almost abandoned. They do have a bathroom and a separate sink for nails.

So if you can't do your own nails and you want to splurge then this is the place to go to. Original review: After researching nail salons for a couple of weeks, I decided to book with The Nail Salon. I scheduled my appointment through text and was asked to send a $20 deposit through Zelle, which I did during our conversation. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told I didn't actually have one scheduled. I showed the text messages and proof of the deposit transaction. She explained that because I didn't specifically tell her the payment had been sent, she didn't realize the deposit was from me and never added me to the schedule. At that point, I probably should have left, but since they weren't busy and I had already paid the deposit, I decided to continue with the appointment. The pedicure was honestly very relaxing, and the massage portion was excellent. Unfortunately, the manicure experience was much different. I requested a full set, showed a couple of inspiration photos, and trusted the tech to choose the best products. During the application process, I noticed the nails were crooked and mentioned it. I was told they would be fixed, but the final result still looked uneven and nothing like the inspiration photos. What made the experience more uncomfortable was that multiple times during the manicure, the misunderstanding about the appointment was brought up and framed as entirely my fault, with no acknowledgment of the communication issue on both sides. I'm admittedly not someone who likes confrontation, so after bringing up the crooked nails once, I stayed quiet, paid, tipped, and left. I left disappointed because I had really hoped to find a salon I could return to regularly. The pedicure itself was great, but between the appointment confusion, the interaction during the service, and the quality of the manicure, I unfortunately won't be returning. My second visit for an overlay wasn't quite as perfect, but I decided to give it another try, hoping for the best. Unfortunately, this most recent nail appointment really fell short of expectations. The overlay itself ended up being much shorter than I had anticipated, and to my dismay, several nails chipped within just three days of the service. I also found the filing process quite uncomfortable; it felt rather aggressive and almost like a burning sensation at certain points. On top of that, it seemed like my cuticles weren't properly cleaned up during the process. For $60 I expected more. Given these last two experiences, especially this most recent one, I'm feeling a bit hesitant about getting my nails done here again. I do want to say that I think your salon truly excels at pedicures - those have always been wonderful!
