Very busy during the weekends, but the staff does the best that they can to keep up. They have a decent selection of drinks (mostly on the sweet side) and the bunny theme is very cute!

This may be one of my new favorite boba shops in the Bay! I don't know how I've never heard of them before, but I came here after a hike in need of a refreshing drink. I was enticed by their topping options since there were a lot of unique ones I hadn't seen before. I opted for the jasmine tea with taro and sticky rice. I LOVE sticky rice and this one did not disappoint - it was so chewy and well cooked and paired so well with the taro paste! I also liked the flavor of their jasmine tea, as you could really taste the floralness. I will be back!

This is the second Ume Tea in Fremont . It is located in the same parking lot as Pearl Bay restaurant and CHICHA San Chen 吃茶三千。 The inside decoration is very cute . It has displayed of some of the toys that you would get from purchasing a particular type of drinks . You could order in person or order with the kiosk machine . We got the pop corn chicken this time. It tasted excellent, fluffy , tasty and very tender inside . Portion was large boggy for 2 people. I have bad drinks Freon Ume tea before . Their recipes are more on the sweet side and It felt like a dessert more than a tea . It was not my favorite type of recipe. But I enjoyed going there with friends , chat and eat snacks .

This is the best location that serves local pop-ups on Saturdays. So far, the events are more anime theme and aimed towards teens and adults in their 20s. The Pinkalicious car show had cute pink sports cars, yet it was only a two hour event. I also encountered a cosplay event with a few small vendors selling handmade prints, keychains, and jewelry, which were a bit expensive as SJMade. Overall their Guava Yogurt Series are so good, so does their popcorn chicken and fries combo. They even offer a loyalty program to earn points for a free drink or snack, which is free to sign up on the kiosk. Remember to apply your loyalty membership every time you order. Expect to wait in line for the kiosk for 20 minutes, then your order for 20-25 minutes, and park farther during the weekends. While you wait, it's best to walk around the plaza until you receive a text of your order pickup.

Cute boba spot! Their snacks and drinks are solid. Happy to see they're opening more locations!

Plushie from bunny surprise cup. Not very cute / not worth the extra $4. Other locations have full size / cuter plushies.

I just moved to the area and was excited to see they had Ume Tea available. I placed my order online and it was ready in minutes. Seems like they have quick service (though it is a weekday around noon so maybe because people are at school / work). The interior looks new and clean. I was excited to get the Bunny Surprise Cup where there is a little plushie hidden in a compartment under your drink for about $4-5 extra. I was pretty disappointed with the one I received. Looks like an animal face on a green ball. Very small and not cute. At other Ume Tea, locations, I have received a full size animal plushie (sometimes even Sanrio). This made my experience not as great. The drinks themselves are good! I recommend the Mango Yogurt Smoothie (comes with mango topping and crystal boba). Very nice for a summer day if you don't want caffeine.

    Dubai chocolate shake
    Sydney J.

I was in the area and decided to try their Dubai chocolate shake, 30% sweet, standard ice (they don't allow any modification on the ice), medium (which is the only size they offer for the shake). The pistachios really taste like they took the plain nuts and grinded them up into a drink, which is interesting and not necessarily bad, I'm just used to places with pistachio drinks having a very concentrated and sweet pistachio flavor. I was expecting a stronger chocolate flavor though, the chocolate was disappointingly rather muted. I'm not too familiar with how Dubai chocolate is supposed to taste but nothing particularly stood out to me about the chocolate part of it, and I figure Ume was just trying to hop onto the Dubai chocolate trend. At the bottom of the drink, though, the nuts were more concentrated and I thought that was fun and savory so that was the good part of the drink. I wouldn't get this drink again especially given it's one of their most expensive drinks. This location does have a few tables outside, and they had a dispenser with oolong milk tea samples inside. I also appreciate that their speed of making drinks is fairly quick compared to other Ume locations. It took about 9 minutes based on when I got the text notifying me my drink was ready. When I went to the other Fremont location, it had taken nearly twice as long for my drink, and when I've gone to the Cupertino location in the past, it has often taken around half an hour.

Cute, clean location with a parking lot. There's indoor and outdoor seating, self ordering station, as well as ordering from the front. They also have a sample station for you to try a milk tea flavor. Lots of variety of drinks to choose from and an ig spot for photos.

Coco Mango Jasmine Bloom and Grape Green Tea w/ Tea Jelly
    Fiona T.

My friend and I got the Coco Mango Jasmine Bloom and Grape Green Tea w/ Tea Jelly. The Coco Mango Jasmine Bloom was good and the toppings all worked well together. I sipped on it throughout a wedding and it still tasted good. The Grape Green Tea w/ Tea Jelly was refreshing and had the perfect amount of sugar. A lot of people at the wedding also had boba. Safe to say people were enjoying their drinks

I've frequented the Ume Tea location on Stevenson and was excited to see a new location pop up in Fremont. This was previously the Green Bubble location (another boba shop). My first time at this location was during their opening week when they had various giveaways such as totes, stickers, bogo deals, etc. The location is larger than the other Fremont location. It has more tables and chairs, bar stools, and a cute backdrop for photos. They also have seating outside, which a ton of people were using and enjoying their drinks. I went again for the second time and it was a different experience. If you haven't been to an Ume Tea before, you probably wouldn't know what to get unless you spend time looking through the menu at the kiosk when you're about to order or crowded around the screen near the cashier. They definitely need more menus on their TVs, instead it was showing Ume tea advertisements. For some reason, they didn't have their AC running so it was very warm in there. With the crowd of people inside and outside waiting to order and for their drinks on an already warm summer day, it did not feel great waiting in there. Luckily, I ordered an iced green tea with lychee jelly and got my drink fairly quickly.

    Mango Pomelo Sago
    Michelle N.

Overall rating: 5/5 Came around 8pm on a Wednesday night and there were quite a few people grabbing drinks and hanging out. Ume Tea is a bright and pink boba shop with cutesy decor. It's located in Pacific Common so there's ample parking. There's seating inside and a small table outdoors. I ordered: -Mango Pomelo Sago (5/5): very well balanced and a must try if you're a mango lover. I loved how the drink was not too sweet and the taste of pomelo also came through. The sago gave the drink nice texture. Would I come back? Yes, it's a cute spot to grab boba Would I recommend? Yes!

Coco Mango Jasmine Bloom Large ($7.25) sitting out for about an hour

Not the greatest experience todI came to this location with an online order to pick-up ahead today at 2:30pm. I placed my order an hour early and got the Mango Jasmine Bloom. It's like a mango slushie so the consistency shouldn't be watery. But when I picked up my order around 2:45pm, the drink was so watery. I looked at the drink tag/receipt and the drink was made and sitting around 1:44pm. When I asked the cashier in the front, she confirmed it was made over 45 min ago and I double checked my tag that said to pick up 2:30pm. Logically when you order ahead of time, places dont make drinks until closer to the pick-up time. So I requested if I could have it remade since the drink had been sitting for an hour and it's all melted. The girl in the front gave me like a "what do you want me to do about it" face and looked reluctant to help. And then said that I would have to wait a long time since they have other orders. I just took my melted drink bc it didnt look like she didn't have the means to help me remake my drink. But honestly, what I really didn't like was the way the girl looked at me like I was unreasonable to make the request when the drink was sitting out for a while. Not to group all the other workers, but I think customer service could've been better from her.

This is another Fremont location of Ume Tea, which is at Pacific Commons. The atmosphere is quite different compared to the one that's near Newpark Mall. I actually didn't really know about it until I walk past by it when I was getting coffee. I really like how boba tea comes in few different sizes compared to other boba shops, which usually serves boba in taller cups. There's not much plentiful of options here, but not every boba shop needs to have that. This is a convenient location for me if I ever to stop by at Pacific Commons and want to get boba here.

Long overdue review since I've seen my NorCal and visiting SoCal oomfs post about Brian Black Tea…read moreand thanking Brian for his service. This is the only singular franchise location in the United States (at least as I'm writing this and has been like this for awhile), which is insane to me, considering that it was quite hyped back then and remains a favorite to many. Hopefully one day, they'll be more locations, but it's literally been years. In that case, I'll have visiting SoCal friends with me try. Simple and casual appearance. Love the wood accent on the counters and tables, along with the green walls and descriptions of the tea. There's a bit of it that reminds of what the old XFT location looks like from the RH location, but only just a little bit. You can order ahead for pick up and they're quite efficient. The only times there was even a semblance of a fisted wait, at least when I've gone, was due to orders of like 10-30 drinks for catering or an office boba run. Solid tea that's steeped really well. If you adjust for much lower sugar, you can enjoy the quality much better. I feel like with the influx of the boba wars (at least in SoCal), many of the Taiwanese franchises (Guiji, Chayan, UG, etc.) just don't have enough of a strong flavor to compete with their Chinese competitors, but Brian Black Tea, I think would be a strong contender if they were drafted in the SoCal boba wars. I've enjoyed all of their milk teas, but my favorite has always been the Era Milk Tea with the slight coffee taste to it and the Retro Milk Tea with the subtle roasted flavor and hint of cocoa to it. I usually get 25% sweet and it's perfect. NorCal must when I visit.

Unfortunately, the drink fell short for me as it tasted watered down. I was a little surprised to see it listed as Iron Goddess Black tea, as Iron Goddess is typically oolong tea so I wonder if they mixed the two teas together. The tea flavor was extremely mild and it was a little hard to believe it was a milk tea. The boba was a nice chewy texture and was a little sweet. A large milk tea was $6.75 and after the addition of boba and tax, my total was a little under $8.50 which I found to be expensive for what I received. This shop isn't really suited for my taste.

He gave me four tokens to use while I was waiting, and they were complimentary. I used them on the claw machines, but I didn't win anything. It was still fun and very nice that he offered me the tokens. I got my drink within about 5 mins. Very fast! Then I waited a few more minutes, and I got my Popcorn Chicken. I forgot to grab the sweet Thai chili sauce that they had some there. It was pretty yummy. A bit dry, but still flavorful though. I would definitely return again at some point to try their Cotton Candy Milk Tea one day because that looked cool! :)
