My first experience here was good. I had boycotted buffets for years because I'm not a fan of the lack of "cleanliness" associated with all buffets; too many dirty hands and mixing old and new food together. My last experience was over a year ago when a young child, who had the perfect height to look straight at the warming dishes, sneezed directly onto the food. The child rubbed its nose and face and continued getting food with a family member. I got out of there quickly and never went back.

My first visit and I was quite impressed. A colleague and I ate a late lunch here, around 1:00 pm. Employees were extremely friendly. The selection of food was incredible. There were so many options that I barely made my way around. My first stop was to fill a bowl with fresh vegetables and noodles which I handed to an employee to cook on the grill. It was delicious but filled me up and so I wasn't able to sample any of the other options except for a couple of small flakey pastries. The dining room and buffet were sparkling clean, and the employees were very friendly and helpful. Definitely will try this place again when I am in the area.

The reviews are so hot and miss but thought I'd give it a try. All you can eat with dessert & a drink for under $20 is a good deal. I usually cringe at the Chinese buffets but this one had hot food that looked & tasted fresh. I actually commented that a couple of dishes were almost gone & they brought out more. The egg rolls, pork buns & teriyaki chicken were my favs but the hibachi was good too. None of the sushi was labeled so it was all a guess as to what you were eating. They did have peel & eat shrimp but I never saw crab or steak. I'd eat here again as it was pretty good for the price.

This is the best buffet in the city! The food here always hits, and the variety is unbelievable! The service is amazing, they have their own cold bar for hibachi where you can pick your own toppings, or what you'd like. You bring it over, and they prepare your plate for you on the spot! You can also take the cold bar food and add a broth and make a soup like pho! Don't even get me started on the wings, I didn't get to take a photo of those. I ate them before too fast lol. The environment is family friendly, very enjoyable and nice! I would definitely recommend going here when you're hungry, with your family, after a game before a game, an event. ANY TIME! Just go, it's an amazing buffet! Please eat everything on your plate too, don't waste food! Hope you all enjoy!

It has a great selection. And really good for a buffet dinner. There is the option of the hibachi made to preference grill.

Attentive buffet servers. Food was hot. Good selection of typical buffet items. Fairly priced. Was an easy in-and-out lunch.

Clean restaurant with good food and service. Prices are fair and they also have a hibachi area. Good sushi selection.

Recently though, I wound up throwing out my hunan chicken. It actually tasted of plastic or chemicals. Maybe it was just so steaming hot when it went into the plastic tupperware? I have gotten the veggie egg foo young a few times and enjoyed it, though the gravy sauce has a tiny but of a licorice taste so use that in moderation! This particular time, the veggies were so bland and tasted more like water. Definitely missed seasoning. I'm not sure, but when it comes to take-out, I prefer something a bit more consistent. Overall, a fine spot with great prices for portion size.

There were a couple of high top stools at the counter at the window, facing the street but really not a dine in restaurant. The gentlemen who took our order was kind. Only took about 10 minutes to prepare our vegetable stir fry that came with fried or white rice. We opted for the white rice. It was still plenty hot when we got it home and more than enough for the 2 of us. The veggies wete fresh and crisp, not over cooked. Yhere was brocolli, carrots, snow peas, pretty sure cucumbers, bok choy and celery in a tasty brown sauce. And ample rice. Great good, price and servive.

It's all about consistently great food, generous portions, fast service, and that comforting feeling of walking into a place that's been feeding Louisville families for years. Me and my family have been coming here for a long time, and somehow I've never written a review before, which honestly feels overdue. One of the best things about Jade Palace is that we always end up ordering way too much food on purpose because the leftovers are just as good the next day. The prices are super reasonable, so you can really feast without feeling like you've been financially roundhouse-kicked by a dumpling. This visit started with the hot and sour soup, which is genuinely some of the best in the city. Rich, deeply savoury, perfectly balanced, and easily enough to share. Then came a full spread of dim sum: pork and shrimp dumplings, char siu bao, lo bak go, roast pork rice rolls, pot stickers, and vegetable spring rolls. Everything came out piping hot and fresh from the kitchen. The rice rolls were silky and comforting, the bao soft and fluffy with that slightly sweet roasted pork filling, and the lo bak go had that crisp exterior and savoury turnip flavour that's impossible not to keep picking at. For mains we ordered the roast pork lo mein, seafood tofu hot pot, and beef with broccoli. Every dish was generous, flavourful, and clearly made to order. The staff here have always been incredibly friendly and efficient, even when the place is busy, and there's something really comforting about a restaurant that just quietly does what it does well year after year. We'll defo be back.
