Don't skip on the Zha-Jiang Noodles! Believe me when I say these are a must have. The cucumber salad is packed with this savory flavor that reminded me of eating cucumber on a hot day with salt and lime. The pork dumplings; we got them fried. Stopped in after a tour of Liberty Puzzles nearby. It's a clean, cheery place with very friendly & helpful staff. Had our teenage grandkids with us. This was the perfect spot because it has a wide range of Asian cuisine. They started with various boba teas, declaring them wonderful! I was in the area and saw it had 4.5 stars and gave it a shot. I order the basic wonton noodle soup to test the waters. I also make this at home. The noodles looked like spaghetti noodles and not the traditional egg noodles. The Wontons were 90% thick wrap and only 10% filling. The filling also did not contain any shrimp. You and Mee Noodle House is in a small strip mall in the North side of Boulder. I have been there several times and am always greeted nicely by the owner. I have had their soup dumplings and have also tried their mongolian beef. The dumplings were incredible but the lunch special mongolian beef was a bit on the salty side. I will certainly be going back again for their dumplings and will try the lunch again sometime with a different main dish. The food here is terrible. The orange chicken was fried to leather and completely inedible. The chicken in garlic sauce was pretty bland. I got there at 9p for takeout and they had already closed even though they are supposed to be open till 9.30p. Thankfully someone was there who opened the door for me but they had lost my order. I had to wait 20 mins while they cooked it and then got it home and it was awful. I don't know how they get any good reviews, but we will be staying away. read more

We were very pleased with our take-out order from this hard-to-find little place. My son was presented with two menus when he walked in - didn't even have to ask for the list of more authentic Chinese dishes. He bought a lot, telling me he doesn't want the place to go out of business. It's in a small, mostly empty mall. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, people there are nice. Many of our old favorites have a slightly different twist here, very good, very fresh. * Scallion pancakes were not as dense and not as oily as most, had great chewiness and lovely flavor. * Siu mai were fresh, apparently made in house. A thicker and more tender wrapping, completely covered instead of open-topped, a delicate and tender bite. Delicious. * Pork dumplings fried - again a slightly different take on an old favorite, now a new favorite in this version. Different spice and different filling mix, I think, nicely browned. Really liked these. * Complimentary crab cheese wontons - couldn't ask for better. * Canton duck, excellent. Lovely spicing, perfectly cooked. Next time we'll probably try the crispy duck. Always looking for good duck! * Sesame chicken - interesting with many layers of flavor that develop as it's eaten. I think the chicken may have been fried before being battered and fried, as the chicken was firmer and tastier than other versions. We always have to get a chicken dish for my brother. :-) * Mala beef plate was one we had not tried elsewhere. I didn't notice the flower pepper as much as the other tastes and a different type of heat, but it is a very good dish. Very tasty food especially for the price! 2 entrees, an order of dumplings and a Thai tea for about $50. First we got an order of the chicken (and basil i think?) dumplings and honestly I probably could have just had dumplings for dinner they were so good! Then I had the beef/ shrimp udon noodles and the flavor was great, but I liked the shrimp a little more than the beef. My husband got the Szechuan beef soup and that had an awesome, unique flavor!
