Murphy gets nervous worth all those dogs barking and crying so that would cause him to be overly anxious. And by the time we would pick him up, he was a wreck and would just sleep without eating for a day or more. Today he got to enjoy being the only pup getting attention. We've been coming to this facility regularly for self-wash and have always had a good experience…read moreusing those stations. The environment felt clean, and one of the groomers we'd seen a few times was friendly and professional. Based on those past interactions, we decided to trust him with our dog for a full grooming appointment--wash, haircut, and nail trim--expecting she'd be in caring hands. Unfortunately, what happened instead left us devastated. We paid around $100 for a standard grooming. At pickup, everything seemed okay at first, and we checked out without issue. We had specifically told him to only trim what was needed. But once we got home, we noticed things that were deeply concerning: * Both of her ears had visible nicks * One toenail was actively bleeding * Cuts on her stomach, throat, ears, and other areas * Whiskers completely shaved off * Clippers used far too aggressively in multiple places * Redness and signs of irritation or abrasion on her skin * She began keeping one eye closed about 30 minutes later--we had to flush it, and she didn't open it again until the next day We were told she "behaved perfectly," yet she came home clearly uncomfortable, shaking her head constantly due to the ear cuts, and acting completely unlike herself. This wasn't a one-nick situation--this was carelessness and a lack of attention to basic grooming safety. While I understand nail quicking can happen sometimes, I want to be absolutely clear: her nails were not neglected. They had been trimmed shortly before the appointment. I will be attaching photos to show this. If her nails were truly overgrown, there's no way they could've been cut as short as they were--which, ironically, is the same length they claimed was "correct." That contradiction alone says everything. What's even more upsetting is that multiple people who saw her after the appointment--including at another dog supply store where we stopped to get wipes to clean her wounds--told us to report this business. They were horrified by her condition. Many said this facility's practices seem out of line with what's considered normal and safe in the grooming industry. And sadly, they were right. I should've known based on how this place is run. Their response to my concerns wasn't apologetic or professional--it was defensive, condescending, and retaliatory. Instead of addressing the injuries, they blamed me for "neglect," made false accusations about prior incidents, and then banned us from returning simply for sharing our experience. As someone who grew up grooming dogs, I can confidently say: I would've done a better job at home for free. In fact, I've groomed her many times myself (even in this same facility) using a guard, trimming carefully, never once hurting her. I even have photos of how I typically groom her--with the sweet bandana she always wears. I want to be clear: I understand that this business limits its grooming options, and that's fine. But with those limits should come an even stronger sense of care and awareness. A groomer doesn't need to be a stylist to understand how important whiskers are, how to safely shave a coat, or how to clip nails without causing injury. Most importantly, they should be kind--even when holding boundaries. We used to drive all the way from East Cobb to use this place. But after what our dog went through, and now the way the owner has treated me and my family, I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone. I'll be warning everyone I know, and I've already been encouraged to report this to the Better Business Bureau and other regulatory agencies, especially since some of their policies don't align with standard practices and could pose risks to other pets. We trusted them. And our dog paid the price for it. Please think twice before bringing your pet here

Staff stopped to pet her when she was looking for some human attention. She had dinner when I brought her home and passed out. Perfect. Once home, they texted me to say they forgot to make notes for her "paw-gress" report. As a dog mom I want to know how things went. All they said was that she had a good day. They apologized and said I would get a free one next time. I hope they will work on whatever procedures need occur.

After trying a few other boarding facilities, (which were not that good) I happened to be driving…read moredown the road and came across Pampered Pet Care. When I got home I looked them up on Yelp. Not many reviews but everyone was 5 stars. I was encouraged so I set up an 8am to 4pm trial run. Cue loved it. What gorgeous country grounds and the facilities were amazingly spotless. The staff is incredible. Efficient, knowledgeable and very caring are a few descriptions that head the list of many qualities they have. His first overnight was a very relived success. Yes they sent pics of him every day. I don't think his feet ever touched the ground as all the photos were of him being held by by different staff members (lol). Immaculate facilities. When I asked why no pet odors, the staff member simply replied , "the owner won't allow it". My pet will not be going anywhere else and I'm so glad he has found such a wonderful boarding facility. Thank you Pampered Pet Care for the love and kindness you give our pets and treating them like they were your own.
